I really like Ross. You can find a lot of hidden gems if you're willing to put in the work and time. The store can tend to look a little messy/cluttered which is why I prefer to visit early morning. There tends to be less traffic and the racks haven't been picked over. This Ross is pretty big. Located in a shopping center off on Abercorn street near restaurants and other shops. The store can seem a bit overwhelming when you first enter. I tend to find lots of cute baby items, self care items, and snack foods. I've even purchased designer perfume at a fraction of the cost. Who doesn't love saving money?! The only downside would be that I find Ross to not have many cashiers available so the wait can be long at times. That's what usually leads me to picking up random snacks so win win. Haha. read more

I give this location two stars due to low pricing. Otherwise, this site would get a 1/ 2 star for service. When we entered, there was a line of 10 customers. My daughter went to try on an outfit. I overheard a customer asking the girl at the counter if there were more cashiers. I was hesitant to shop but my daughter needed an outfit. After watching the line continue to grow, I asked if a manager was available. The cashier replied that they were in a meeting. On the floor were one cashier and their loss prevention person. We waited for over 30 minutes in line before I became downright angry. I tried to call the store (while I was inside, no less) and the phone rang continuously until the same cashier answered. We ended up leaving our purchases and not returning. This is not a good place to shop. read more

Now, there isn't a Ross Dress for Less that's a four or five star establishment that makes you feel 'elite', but if you compare it to what it is aiming for, or could be, this is definitely up there. Ross is famous for inexpensive (cheap?) clothing and items, even besting TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and sometimes, the Goodwill store. Every Ross store I've been to has hundreds and hundreds of dresses available, in each and EVERY size, from XS to XXXL, petite and plus sizes. The employees here are nice. read more

Went in for a return and had no complications. The cashier was a little skeptical about the shoes I was returning but that's all fair. I wore them once so I think she thought they weren't the shoes I bought. Nevertheless she helped me and the return went through, then I was wished happy holidays and a goodnight! Very friendly! For reference and countering the other reviews, I'm white and customer service was as well as it should be, I wasn't treated rudely or with racism. They treated me just like any other customer. read more

Never going back. I don't care how cheap the clothes, they are rude and not at all helpful! The incident- my 2 year-old had an potty accident while sitting on my lap. Needless to say, we both got wet. After taking her to daycare I ran by Ross to find something quick so I didn't have to travel all the way home to change. It was around 11 am on a Thursday morning so maybe 3 people were in the store. I tried on a skirt, folded my pants up and walked out of the dressing room. I gave the girl, who was talking on the wall phone with someone she knew, my "number". She kept talking and tried to point me on out of the dressing room area but I waited to tell her I was wearing the skirt I just tried on. I didn't want her to see it and think I was stealing it or anything. She held the phone down for a minute to see what I needed then after I explained I wanted to wear the skirt out (since my pants were wet) and that I was walking straight to the register, she told the person on the phone she had to go. Then she turned to me and said "you can't do that". I again explained my wet situation and offered for her to escort me or call the front to say I was coming. She refused. I tried to explain and reason with her a few more times. She kept saying " no. You can't" and even said hey we're not allowed to take the tag off of me. I went back in the dressing room, took off the skirt, up back on my wet pants, left my other purchases hanging and walked out of the store. The last thing I told her was - MY HONESTY is what caused this problem. Had I not stopped to explain my situation to her, she would have taken my number, kept talking on the phone and would have never been the wiser. I will not be back. Craziness. read more

I never review a retail store but tonight's visit merits a special review. It would receive ZERO if possible all due to their Loss Prevention personnel and their manager's obvious tolerance of her power abuse. Here's the down and dirty. A lady and her 2 adult sons were all 3 checking out in the only open line tonight, at 845pm, on a Friday night. Myself and the only other paying customer in line, another obvious working professional, stepped out from the roped off waiting area towards the checkout after 10 plus minutes and stood quietly 5 feet behind the above family while they had the cashier ring up their purchases on 4 separate receipts for 3 people. Now the "loss prevention specialist" was standing in a closed checkout playing on her cell phone for over 10 minutes oblivious to any of us until the store manager walked by at least twice. Suddenly the loss prevention specialist sprang to life and rushed over demanding we two ladies "STEP BACK BEHIND THE LINE UNTIL YOUR TURN". What we're we rushing the counter or being unruly? Then he manager noticed we had been standing there about 15 minutes and opened another line. I'd had enough as the security guard was starring myself and the 50+ year old woman behind me down. I put my item down and left. This was my 3rd and last trip there. If this is how you treat your normal clientele I wonder how you stay in business? No wonder you want to be TJ Maxx items are so over priced as you have to pay want to be cops to harass your paying customers. Go to TJ MAXX or Marshals. You'll find better quality, prices and no over zealous security! P. S. Shouldn't loss prevention be patrolling the store and not harassing people waiting in line to actually pay? Why not do something about the kids running down the aisles unattended? There's a novel idea! read more

I wish there was a rating for ZERO stars! I have never had worse customer service than I have at this Ross location, numerous times. The staff is not helpful, if anything, they make shopping more frustrating and complicated. Do not go here if you want to leave happy and satifsfied- save your time and just go across the street to the mall! read more
