Service sucks, great selection on a large variety of items to choose from and pretty good value on most items.

E Shaver Books is what I picture in my head when I think of magical bookstores. There are lots of…read morehidden corners and alcoves where one could steal away and read for hours. They had rooms filled floor to ceiling with every genre imaginable. It was like a game of book Jenga. Besides the trove of books, thy had so many charming gifts and trinkets that weren't just for bookworms. I bought almost all of my keepsakes from here. Because I'm surrounded by avid readers, I knew they would appreciate my presents. Service was top-notch! The staff really went out of their way to help me locate the books and gifts I was looking for. Plus, who doesn't love a bookstore with resident cats? They were adorable and it was hard not to pick them up and cuddle with them. But I know that they had a job to do and I did not want to interrupt their duties. If I had more time in Savannah, I would have visited E Shaver Books numerous times. But the two times I did, I had a marvelous time.

Service was friendly. The book selection was pretty big and they had a nice section for children's…read morebooks. There are a variety of things that aren't books - journals, puzzles, pens, greeting cards, and even tea! Definitely something for everyone. There's the cutest doodle vending machine so bring some coins. I would recommend all cat lovers take a visit. Also, try spotting the cats napping throughout the shop and check out the cat books near checkout!

This Barnes & Noble is amazing. Always clean and staff is super friendly. I sometimes stop in there…read morejust to feel the energy. If you're a reader, you get what I'm saying. It feels so inviting in there. I love the children's section. All the colors and the wall decor is so fun. I've visited the Starbucks inside the cafe and it's pretty good but the one downside is you can't use the Starbucks app, but I know that's an overall B&N thing and not just this particular site. I do feel that they are typically understaffed and I realize this is a very small cafe but it gets extremely crowded in there and people are not always patient with the staff when they're clearly doing the best they can. My one negative about this B&N is that the black author section is very small and difficult to find. Maybe if it was in the main area more people would gravitate towards that section. Other than that, this is probably one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in a not so great mood and need a pick me up.

This was my first time visiting a B&N outside of my hometown. In fact, I worked for them while in…read morecollege. I can't even begin to show my disappointment that the religion section was shelves and shelves marked Christianity. There wasn't even a sticker designating any Jewish religion books. I was also in the Cooking section and again a big disappointment. A small middle eastern area. There was a Gaza Kitchen cookbook but I couldn't find a single Jewish holiday cookbook. Not a single Jake Cohen cookbook. They did have one by Eitan Bernath, but his cookbook isn't about Jewish cooking. So really Nothing. I feel this isn't a B&N thing because I get a lot of my Jewish cookbooks at the one near my house.
