    My typewriter inspirational message.
    Andrea S.

I was exploring downtown Savannah with my cousin who suggested we go in to Frieze, that it was one of his and his wife's favorite shops for unique gifts. Wonderful shop with eclectic glass and ceramic goods, plus smaller candles & incense and cards. I was very interested in some motivational/inspirational wall hangings but it was raining so I planned to return the next day - which I did! I loved the shop owner's dog Bailey who was always there to greet customers, and Robert the owner was helpful and polite and all-around nice. I ended up buying my "typewriter thoughts" plus delicious candles. I would recommend Frieze to everyone and will definitely shop there again the next time I'm visiting Savannah.

I walked in and saw the Owner (?) with his golden retriever following him and that started with the good impressions. Very Feng Shui/Karma feeling environment. Feels good, Smells good, comfortable with a lot of hard to find Asian art & Sculpture. The wife and I were very impressed will post pictures later. Please take time to see what he has to offer and remember although not expensive you ared paying for quality. Namaste

Very nice shop with unusual items. And then of course there is his dog, Bailey! A win for me. Julie Wilson, Columbia, SC

Robert, the owner, is super nice, and stopping in to pet Bailey the shop dog is well worth the visit alone.

The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! Then, you can stroll around the main level and lower level shop and admire all of the treasures. I can't wait to visit again soon!

It was sensory overload in the best way - the heavy wood accents made for a timeless, elevated antique feel as you browsed the curated products. I could have purchased everything in this store! I loved the jewelry cases and spent a lot of time browsing the various charms and trinkets. The silk scarf selection was bountiful and I left with the most beautiful and colorful silk scarf that I can't wait to show off this spring! As if the shop could be any more appealing, it had the cutest coffee cafe nestled in the back corner. I got an iced honey lavender latte and macarons to bring home to the family. I wish I had this shop in my own hometown so I could frequent it!

There is a juxtaposition of old and new here, but sometimes it is hard to tell what is old and what is new. For antique items, gentle restoration is given. The charm is certainly low-country: a hodge-podge of items--tea cups, plates, furniture, rugs, etc. This is a good place to find decoration for homes if you like southern charm. Check it out.

The location of the store is in a historic brick building that feels open and airy with a lot of light as you peruse around the shop. I actually discovered GCD on Instagram as I was browsing stores in the area for some furniture for my apartment. I really liked the photos they posted, so decided to pop in over the weekend. The gentleman who was working the shop was extremely friendly and flagged some of the limited time sales they had taking place. I really liked the mix of old and modern throughout the store. The way it is designed and arranged gives you a good illustration of how some of the furniture and decor could be arranged in your own home. I was particularly interested in the vintage glassware they had -- it all seemed really unique and like conversation pieces. If you happen to be near Columbia Square, definitely check out GCD and say hello.
