Outside the store; photos not allowed inside

A beautiful store with predominantly Latin treasures. 2-story store with Tibetan, Mexican, and local antiques. Wonderful collection of jewelry, paper wreaths, etc. photos were not allowed in the store, sadly. Wanted to get this Mexican wooden prayer card which was a portrait of the Saint, the name underneath, and on the back was the story of the Saint. Sadly, the card I wanted to give as a gift was for st. Luke, patron saint of doctors and artists, had an imperfection. It was the last one and the story on the back had gotten cut off. I brought this to the attention of what I presumed were the owners (a older couple). Service was aloof and would not return to the store because of this.

I loved my visit to the Paris Market! I had seen all over social media that this was the place to…read morevisit in Savannah, and for once that turned out to be true. The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! Then, you can stroll around the main level and lower level shop and admire all of the treasures. I can't wait to visit again soon!

It was sensory overload in the best way - the heavy wood accents made for a timeless, elevated antique feel as you browsed the curated products. I could have purchased everything in this store! I loved the jewelry cases and spent a lot of time browsing the various charms and trinkets. The silk scarf selection was bountiful and I left with the most beautiful and colorful silk scarf that I can't wait to show off this spring! As if the shop could be any more appealing, it had the cutest coffee cafe nestled in the back corner. I got an iced honey lavender latte and macarons to bring home to the family. I wish I had this shop in my own hometown so I could frequent it!

This is a new business adjacent to the Webb Military Museum…read more The proprietor was on site, friendly, and was available to assist. Good service. There is a juxtaposition of old and new here, but sometimes it is hard to tell what is old and what is new. For antique items, gentle restoration is given. The charm is certainly low-country: a hodge-podge of items--tea cups, plates, furniture, rugs, etc. This is a good place to find decoration for homes if you like southern charm. Check it out.

The location of the store is in a historic brick building that feels open and airy with a lot of light as you peruse around the shop. I actually discovered GCD on Instagram as I was browsing stores in the area for some furniture for my apartment. I really liked the photos they posted, so decided to pop in over the weekend. The gentleman who was working the shop was extremely friendly and flagged some of the limited time sales they had taking place. I really liked the mix of old and modern throughout the store. The way it is designed and arranged gives you a good illustration of how some of the furniture and decor could be arranged in your own home. I was particularly interested in the vintage glassware they had -- it all seemed really unique and like conversation pieces. If you happen to be near Columbia Square, definitely check out GCD and say hello.
