The woman took a look at the one pair I had and said "this is not the timeframe for it." they were sweater boots, not sure why she thinks they are not fall items. The other pair was a pair of Cole haan boots that retail new for $130, I wore maybe once, she told me the price and I questioned that it was really all she thought she could get for them, without saying anything else she looked at me and said "I don't want your items" and closed the boxes. I've never dealt with anyone more rude in my life. Would not recommend shopping here.

I stumbled upon Susan Perrone by sheer luck - only I didn't know it at the time. A colleague had…read morerecommended her and since I was clueless about anything-wedding I decided it would be good choice. My dress had arrived late (I ordered from a different place) - 6 weeks before my wedding but Susan was able to fit me in her schedule and get started on alterations right away. My dress was strapless but I felt the need to have my shoulders covered in church and she was able to add sleeves made from tulle that were removable! These straps made my dress feel complete, and I was so happy to have something unique about my dress. My bustle was GORGEOUS she had included I believe 7 bustle buttons - and my very layered Cinderella-like dress stayed up in the bustle the ENTIRE night! (Ever been to a wedding where the bride holds her dress because the bustle fell?) My mother's dress arrived 3 weeks before the wedding (again, from a different shop) and Susan made sure she was able to fit my mom in as well. Turned out that the dress the other shop had ordered was way too small for my mom - and 5 days before the wedding my mom decided to can it. Mom couldn't even sit in the dress!! Luckily - Susan had a dress available in her shop that fit my mother perfectly!! She was able to make some small adjustments that night and 3 days before my wedding my mother FINALLY had a dress! I honestly do not know what we would have done if we hadn't gone to Susan for alterations. She is clearly knowledgeable about gown alterations - and creative! She was able to quickly find a solution to a huge problem for us. I am so grateful for this and I have been back to her shop many times since. I've had 2 other dresses for other weddings altered since and Susan hasn't let me down! I also love her shop, it's very cute and unique and she has a lot of great wedding purses and jewelry to shop for!

Susan and I scoured the internet, we watched clips of the film to see how the dress moved. Looked at dozens of pictures to make sure we were getting the subtle details right. Not only did she do her research she found the dress she would use as the foundation and the material to make my dress at TJ Maxx and saved me hundreds of dollars. Susan absolutely nailed it. If I could leave 10 stars I would. I found Aleana's Bridal on Yelp last year and it was the first place I went to try on dresses. When we went in November for my first appointment, our consultant, Olivia, was ready with a variety of different dress options for me (as I was very unfamiliar with the different style names etc), and after trying on a few, she knew exactly what I was looking for. Ended up finding the perfect dress that day! We asked for a couple days to commit as we had other appointments the following days, and commitment is scary! After going to one other bridal shop, I immediately knew this was the dress I wanted and that Aleana's Bridal is where I wanted it from. The experience I had at Aleana's was unmatched and the competition simply could not hold a candle to the high bar set by Olivia. We cancelled all other appointments, called Aleana's and paid for the dress that day. Fast forward to getting the dress a few months later... I live in Austin so my mom picked it up from Aleana's and flew over with the dress so I could get the fittings and alterations done in Austin rather than have to fly back and forth multiple times. When I tried the dress on it was quite large on me. I had already ripped off the tags and the seamstress here said she could alter it for me for basically half the price of the whole dress, or I could return it and try again. I was besides myself - this is less than 3 months before my wedding! I called Aleana's and emailed distraught. Lana, the owner, called me back and was so kind and helpful - she texted with me, sent me measurement instructions, and even facetimed me while I was trying the dress on again at the Austin alterations spot. She managed to disarm me and took me out of my mental and emotional spiral calmly and with solutions. She did not argue with me once. Even though it was most likely a mistake made by the designer and not anything Lana and her team did wrong, she still was willing to go above and beyond to help save the day. I ended up taking my dress back from the Austin spot and bringing it with me back to Aleana's when I was visiting home in July. Lana and her magician of a seamstress, Elena, worked with my short schedule and limited availability to get my dress altered to PERFECTION in less than 2 weeks and 3 fitting appointments. Lana was there to check in on the progress and ensure I was not just satisfied but happy with the dress and my experience. Even Olivia came by and checked in. In many cases, the sales person and the owner have no interest in you after the sale is completed, and especially if you have any issues or complaints. Not the incredible women at Aleana's! I cannot even state how impressed I was by each and everyone of them. I got married 2 weeks ago and got SOOO many compliments on the dress and how perfectly it fit. While I don't plan on getting married again (fingers crossed lol) if I ever did - there is no question in my mind where I would go - ALEANA'S BRIDAL will forever have my pick, 10/10 recommend to everyone and anyone!
