This Columbus Avenue location is good overall, but it feels like every time I visit, the layout has…read morechanged again. On my most recent trip, I noticed the jewelry section was moved closer to the fitting rooms, and the makeup, skincare, and body products are now near the elevators. Everything feels a bit mushed together at times, which makes browsing a little confusing. The linen section could definitely use improvement there isn't much variety when it comes to pillows or bedding. On the bright side, checkout has gotten faster! I've noticed more cashiers recently, which makes a big difference. I usually stop by this location when I'm looking for something I couldn't find elsewhere, or when I want to compare prices between TJ Maxx and HomeGoods.

You're required to hand over all items before entering, and the staff takes their time counting everything to ensure sensors are attached. When you come out, the process repeats--they count everything again and ask what you're purchasing. It's honestly quite annoying. Security presence is minimal; the guard usually just stands near the elevator and doesn't seem actively engaged. Occasionally, there are NYPD officers on-site, though it's unclear why. The checkout line is typically very long, but to their credit, it does move quickly. Overall, I give this location 3 out of 5 stars. I usually manage to find something worth buying, but I'm not really a fan of the overall experience at this store.

One was not good (others were bruised as well so they aren't the quality I expect but I initially called about the one banana). The first photo was of the entire bunch and the sticker with the order number near one of the bruised bananas. The second picture is the banana of most concern since it appears to have something unidentified that compromised through the peel I called customer service to complete what I would have presumed was an easy fix: simply credit 29¢ to my account. Instead they informed me that it was IMPOSSIBLE to do so unless I returned the banana to the store. I explained I just got home and it was rush hour. They said I should keep the bad banana until I can return it!! I find it absolutely ludicrous that this would be the expectation. And I find it completely unbelievable that Target is simply unable to give me a 29¢ credit without me driving back into town after who knows how long to present a single piece of fruit which will be promptly discarded. I was told by corporate that only the store itself could provide a refund and it was suggested that I contact the store. But their Guest Services desk (and every other department) simply rings incessantly. So now my complaint is no longer about a single piece of produce, but it's now about the very poor customer support both at the corporate level and this local store level. I expect better from Target.

Hello, I am writing…read moreto report a very disappointing experience my partner and I had in the cosmetics section during a recent visit. The service worker named Maria was dismissive and unresponsive when we approached her for assistance. She looked directly at us but did not acknowledge or help us until another employee prompted her to do so because it was her aisle. This made us feel ignored and unwelcome. Then she only acknowledged my male partner when it was clearly a female item. Additionally, after we had already been handed items, she took them back and brought them to the register to a male cashier that apologized on her behalf because he could see we were very upset at how we were treated. While I understand this may be store protocol, the way it was handled felt abrupt, personal, racist and unnecessary, especially given the earlier interaction. Due to this experience, we chose to leave without completing our shopping. It was frustrating and disappointing, and it impacted our perception of your store. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to address customer service standards moving forward.
