I have been walking around with a super old jacket, talking decades old, and I figured it's time for an update considering how cold it is sometimes. Upon entering I was surprised you have to go up an escalator to even enter the store, And it's a little weird layout because when you pay it's all the way in the back of the store forcing you to walk all the way back to the front to go back down the escalators to leave. I guess I'm behind in the times because I thought Burlington is supposed to be Burlington coat factory. In the old days when I went to a Burlington it was full of coats galore. I learned today that's not the case anymore, at least not at this location. It seems to be a mix of Ross and Home Goods but with slimmer pickings. If you are looking for Blazers, they have ALLOT of blazers in every colorful color you can think of. Although I didn't find a jacket, in fact the pickings are slim to none on jackets, I did actually find 2 name brand and good quality sweaters for only 10 each. On my way out, I was going down the escalators when a male started coming behind me quickly and stopped behind me. He was too close and I said whoa, he said excuse me and I was really uncomfortable. There's a security gaurd at the bottom by the door but there is a huge white pole obstructing the view from the doors and security while you're on the escalator. The guy was acting shady so close to me and I was prepared to scream for help. I went fast down the escalator to get off and then he hung back but asked me if he can ask me a question and I said no I don't answer questions and I quickly went through the security. The shady guy did not follow me out and stayed inside and he looked like he went back up the escalator. I don't know if I misread the situation or not, and I rushed out so quick but in hindsight maybe I should have alerted security but I wanted to get away as fast as possible. Anyways, if you are going to visit this location be careful and aware of your surroundings. I think the security should stand in a better position that he can see both the door and the escalators. read more

Bad. The only saving grace here is the great deals they have for some items. Got multiple bars of Dove soap for under $5 that usually run up to 10 bucks at most stores. Small place overall, but they got some good stuff, I won't lie, but the downfall really comes at the register. One of the biggest lines formed when I was there to pay, and only one register opened. It took almost 40 minutes to get through. The worst part is that there were 3 additional team members just standing there at the registers chatting about random stuff and their schedules. Yet none of them could open another register? Eventually one of them did open one but took them forever to do so. By far one of the worse Burlington Store I been to. They have some of the worse employees I had ever encountered. The cashers where gossiping about other employees while I was at check out . They were not even greeting anyone they were taking FOREVER to check people out since there were talking to each other. rude unprofessional. Theres also little to nothing in stock at this location. Expensive for the quality. Overall this location is just bad. The people working there should really be all supervised closely or replaced its not good business to be talking crap about your manager and coworkers in front of customer be profession ladies. Terrible customer service. Our cashier Nataly excelled at passive aggressive remarks throughout our check out. She was in a rush to clock out around 6:30pm today and was visibly and audibly annoyed, when while purchasing, I was asking for clarification on things like return of the item with a missing tag and items I wasn't able to try on because they were stapled together with tags. And yes, she even directly told me she was in a hurry. To sweeten the deal, she barked at me to grab the cart on my way out, because "there are already 6 carts here, and I don't want to be taking them all". This is our first time here, carts are all around, so we grabbed one randomly between the isles and left it next to the other carts by the check out. I guess I missed the customer training on cart disposal. And as we got off the escalator, she zipped past and condescended "It wasn't very nice that you left the cart" while continuing the speed walk. Dumbfounded is an understatement. read more

At 9 o'clock there was an announcement on the loudspeaker that the store would be closing in 45 minutes, there's only one register open, and to make your final selections. This announcement continued to be made every five minutes. once I got to the line the cashier verbally expressed how she wanted to go home as the line of people stretched over 15. I understand wanting to go home from personal experience, I know working retail can be annoying, but it's literally what you signed up for and the announcements just made the shopping experience unpleasant and left me as a consumer feeling rushed. This is a good Burlington location in terms of product offerings and neatness - bonus points that it's right next to a Ross and Target. When you enter, there's an escalator and elevator that takes you to the second level. I've been watching Tiktoks of Burlington finds (Juicy Couture, Hello Kitty, etc.) and usually stop in here a couple times a month to see what's new. You'll find a lot of nice home goods at unbeatable prices and a good selection. Their beauty section is large and they have good quality luggage for less. Going to this location is like boarding an airplane. You can't just walk in anymore. The entrance is roped off like a swanky Hollywood Night Spot. They have 3 security guards in the front and a K9. They look you up and down and decide if you're worthy of entering. Once you're in, you're in a former crime scene. The LAPD gunned down a 14 year old girl here via a stray bullet in the fitting room in 2021. A couple blocks down was the location of the North Hollywood Shootout in 1997 and a few other murders have occurred in the near vicinity over the years. They used to have great bathrooms here, but unfortunately they're no longer open. They were a good place to run to and squirt after eating some of that food that they always have cooking in the parking lot. I love that this location has tons of double and triple XL T-shirts and it's my favorite Burlington despite being in the belly of the beast. read more

My family and I walked into this store. We found our clothes and tried them on. They were pretty nice. Then this is where things went down the drain. We went to check out but the line was about a mile and a half long. There was only three people working the registers and we stayed in the line for almost an hour. My mom had to talk to the manager and for a manager she wasn't managing the store very well. My mom gave her a piece of her mind. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I went to return a few perfumes that I bought for Christmas gifts that I didn't end up using. The cashier FRANCIS gave me an attitude from the get go! He claimed I couldn't return them because they were "opened" mind you I had bought them like that! I told him thats how I bought them and he said it was my fault that I didn't tell the cashier that they were opened, maybe I would have got a discount on them Like how the hell AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THEIR JOB?!? Had my infant with me and once inside a worker told me I couldn't have my diaper bag bc they have a no backpack policy, I said you can gladly search me now and when we leave or where we can leave it and the worker said they don't want to search or have a solution as far as wear we can leave it. They also have you stop for a minute behind a rope when you enter so cameras can register you. I understand stores are over correcting the crime and prevention of loss but I can't have a diaper bag? this is such a bad experience just go somewhere else. read more

Do yourself a favor and avoid this store. From the moment you walk in there is a lady and two guys standing at the door. They have a rope like you are walking into a night club. The lady proceeded to ask me "What are you here to get?". I stood there in disbelief, I have never been stopped by security at a store before I walked in and was interrogated about what I was there to purchase. Before I could say anything the lady said, "I am going to hold you here so that you can have a good shopping experience". To this I responded, "Whoever came up with the idea of having security stop customers at the door and interrogate them needs to be fired". I turned around and told the mall cops that I will spend my money where I will not be treated like a thief. To the Burlington management team, I understand that you are trying to reduce theft. The correct way to approach this would be to have greeters and or security staff in uniform at the front door greet customers with a smile, let them know that their business is appreciated, and be present to give customers a sense of safety while shopping there. Detaining customers at the door like everyone is there to steal is not the correct approach. There is a Ross next door that does not interrogate you at the door, and a Nordstrom Rack in the shopping center two blocks down the street that appreciates my business and welcomes me when I come in. Unless you want to feel like you are being processed before you enter a high-security prison, I would suggest that you shop elsewhere. I will never step foot at this location ever again. read more

For starters, the outside of the store had trash everywhere, complete with a shopping cart filled with trash. The escalators weren't working, either (up or down) so we had to wait for the escalator. The store inside was a disorganized mess. I remember how Burlington USED to be... full of coats. Where are all the coats? They had a small selection surrounded by unappealing clothing. Every department was a mess. Some of the prices were really expensive as well. One security guard was wandering around completely clueless to the customers around him. He was chewing gum like a cow chewing grass. He moved some shopping carts so he could talk with the girl behind the register and left the carts in the middle of the walkway. Speaking of registers, why are they in the back of the store? Really strange and inconvenient placement. The line was long for checkout and only one register was open. They eventually opened another. I had the chance to see this place first hand when I passed by Saturday morning around 9 am and saw the open sign and a full parking lot. They really went all out. On the first floor they had a popcorn machine, a photo booth, free giveaways, someone making balloon animals, and a dj. Went upstairs to check out the store. Surprised to see it a hot mess already. Can't say I'm surprised given the area it's in. This store isn't going to stay this way for much longer. The accessory section was all scattered. The wallets were all over the place and taken out of their presumed boxes. They didn't have much selection of clothes. The racks seemed pretty bare considering they had just opened. The home section was surprisingly intact but selections were also limited. I'm not sure if they're still waiting for inventory or what, but I would have thought they'd be fully stocked for their opening weekend. The staff was very friendly though. Got a flier in the mail to come here for a free tote bag. Not apparent on coupon that it is while supplies last. I got there at noon, waited in a long line for over10 min to buy some tupperware. And they said they had ran out of tote bags early that morning and to call tomorrow, they might get more tote bags in. I hate false advertising. The store was super messy and lines were long. The quality of products is like DD's discounts. I think Marshalls and TJ Maxx is much better quality and similar prices. read more

This specific burlington is one of the worsts in the valley. I have been coming ever since it opened but i have yet to have a good experience. My two most recent experiences happened today and yesterday. Yesterday it seemed as if there was wayyyyy too many people for the amount they chose for the capacity. While shopping I counted ten other customers that weren't wearing their masks right. Employees walked by these people without saying a word. It's disgusting on both parts why go out if you're just gonna pull down your mask in the middle of the store. While the store shouldn't even be letting any more people once they meet their capacity. I work retail currently and we don't do that at our store. With the rising numbers of Corona cases, I think it's unprofessional to put us in a situation where we might catch it. However today's interaction showed how gross this store is. I saw a couple arguing with what i assume to be management. The man was yelling about how they dismissed his lady without giving her her W-2. The yelling made me and my son very uncomfortable. From what i remember he yelled about poor treatment of staff just to not even receive the document. My store makes sure you have access to it during training and whenever you need it.
