I am so surprised that this particular Home Goods got such low ratings on Yelp. I have been here so many times and always had a great experience with my shopping. Prices are very comparable with other similar stores and, if I may say, sometimes you can even find things that are on sale. That's the best part of it. Store was well organized and very clean. I walked in today around 2:30pm and was automatically greeted by an employee that was standing by the main entrance. She gave me a shopping cart and told me enjoy your shopping. This is a very big store and has it's own parking lot right in the front. I needed some bed sheets, pillow cases, one fitted queen size sheet, and that was about it. You know how it goes. Not only did I find what I was looking for, I also found some other things that I liked and could picture them in my home. I got this cute decor for my bathrooms, small round candle holder and a beige color candle. Also for my bathroom. A black color stand that you can put flowers, plants, I also saw this beautiful solid wood breakfast/lunch/dinner tray that you can enjoy in bed or anywhere else. Got 2 Febreze's, different scents, shoulder cover plastic that can protect your clothes from getting dusty & dirty. I also needed 2 soap dispensers and found exactly what I was looking for. Some of the items were on sale. They had 3 cashiers that cleared the line so fast and were very kind & helpful. In 2006 I spoke with a manager at this store named Debbie; who told me if I flashed the cashier, I'd get 45% my entire purchase. I've been able to use this discount for years but yesterday when I flashed the cashier, I was asked to leave and then later banned from the premises? HomeGoods, is that how you treat a customer who the bank says has a "scary amount" of debt from your store? So what, my home just can't be good now? Because of the Studio City HomeGoods, my studio apartment is now full of shit from Big Lots. Do you understand how embarrassing it is to have people over and have them sit on bean bags? My 98 year old grandmother got stuck, tried to move, and somehow created a pocket of air inside the bean bag and when she moved it pressurized and flung her across the room. I understand you're an upscale boutique but you're acting like Target right now and you need to be more like Marshalls. Please reconsider this ban and let me back in, it's what God would want you to do. To the people of Studio City, I'll never apologize. read more

I love Home Goods and this is the biggest one I've been in. Another plus, Michael's and Marshall's are in the same strip mall. BUT... 1) Underground parking is so poorly designed. Minus one star. Prepare for 3-point turns when you reach a dead end pocket with no available spots. 2) Inadequate clean up - I get the holiday rush with Christmas mere days away. Some aisles are cluttered, even with merch on the ground, but when a customer dropped something ceramic in the checkout line, I later found pieces not cleaned up. This is both unsafe and unprofessional. I informed an employee at check out. 3) Need more cashiers. 3 out of maybe 7 or 8 registers were open? This is the only HG where long lines didn't move rather quickly. The line was long. I waited 17 minutes to pay. Despite all the negatives, I love that I saw a whole section of artificial flowers in clear glass vases with pretend water. This location also has a lot of throw pillows and even couches! The seasonal and gift selection was overwhelming, in a good way. Valentine's is being pushed earlier, capitalism at its finest. Ditto for Lunar New Year merchandise. Also impressive were the availability of Diwali and Chanukkah products. Appreciate the diversity! I'd come back but after the holidays without the crowds. read more

Studio City, CA While waiting for my SO to join me for lunch at Urbane Cafe, I walked over here to see what they have. Upon entering the door, I am already Wowed. The store is well organized, neatly displayed, and fully stocked with good quality selections. Plenty to choose from. I saw some employees on the floor making sure the shelves are filled and helping out customers. They offered their help as well. Prices are comparable to other places. They have good deals too. This HomeGoods store is very organized and clean compare to the other stores that I have been to. It is easy to find the items you're looking for. They already have a huge selection of Halloween merchandise. They have bowls, plates and cups for Halloween parties. They were reasonably priced too compare to other stores which they price them really high. People working on the floor can be a little friendlier. I understand working in retail is not pleasant, but at least a smile can help the experience more enjoyable. For parking, there is structured parking lot which is easier to find parking than the front of the store. read more

This store location is very tidy and I noticed the manager actively helping customers and organizing shelves. Everything is well organized and decorated. The items here are average compared to other HomeGoods, with a selection that felt somewhat limited and of average quality. While the manager was hardworking and attentive, the ladies at the counter need to focus more on providing customers with attention and care. Instead, they behaved like adolescent teenagers! Clowning around, laughing, and talking among themselves, while completely ignoring customers. I miss the HomeGoods of ten years ago when quality and customer service was priority. read more

Unbelievably bad experience -- HomeGoods just lost a loyal customer for good. I visited the store on June 30th around 7:45-8:00 PM to return a set of three picture frames I had just purchased. They were sealed in the box, but when I opened them at home, one of the frames was detached and the glass was completely shattered -- something that couldn't be seen through the packaging at the time of purchase. When I brought the damaged product back, I spoke with Annie, the manager on duty. She flat-out refused the exchange, claiming, "We would never sell something in that condition," and said she'd have to check the cameras -- essentially accusing me of damaging the product myself. I calmly pointed out that there were plenty of damaged items on the sales floor, including the exact same frame still on display in worse condition. She refused to walk over to see it and refused to involve the general manager when I asked her to escalate the issue. So I went back to the floor myself, found the broken display frame, and brought it to her. Instead of acknowledging the inconsistency or offering a solution, she raised her voice, accused me of harassment, and threatened to call security -- all over a defective product I had just bought, with receipt in hand. At that point, I walked away and left the broken item in the store -- no refund, no exchange, no resolution. That's $35 stolen from me. I hope that contributes nicely to their revenue. I immediately closed my HomeGoods/TJX credit card and will never shop at HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, or any of their sister stores again. The way I was treated was unprofessional, accusatory, and unacceptable. I have photos of the damaged product and the condition of the store to back up everything I've said. This is not how any customer -- let alone a loyal one -- should be treated. read more

I was in the shopping center with HomeGoods recently and since I was looking for a few kitchen items and home decor, I thought I should pop inside and check it out. The store is big and it has a bit of everything for the house. Some of the decorative items are a tad tacky. Overall, the store was lacking some items, not in stock or low in stock and it could be better organized. Prices are in the middle, not huge deals, but decent. Some parking in front, more inside the garage. I like to shop in stores and sadly for our area, some decent chains went out of business or are closing locations. I don't want to be stuck with one type of store or just ordering on line so HomeGoods will be an option in the future for me! read more

Customer Experience Concern - June 5, 2025 This morning around 10:30 AM, while waiting in line, I witnessed an associate speak abruptly and rudely to the woman in front of us, instructing her not to approach the counter. What stood out was the inconsistency: an Asian family had just walked up and stood in the exact same spot moments earlier without issue. When we reached the counter, a different associate kindly assisted us, but the original associate continued to complain loudly about customers not stopping at a certain point, saying, "Once one comes up, they all come up" and insisting the store needed a bigger sign. Her tone was unnecessarily harsh, and she seemed to expect customers to wait an excessive distance--about 70 feet--from the register. Notably, the next three customers she addressed in this manner were all Black. While I can't definitively say race was a factor, the contrast in treatment between the Asian family and the Black customers was troubling. The associate in question was a red-haired woman. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as all customers deserve to be treated with consistency, professionalism, and respect. read more

Pretty much every HomeGoods you go to is very much the same. It is stuffed full with all kinds of stuff that you probably never even knew existed. This one is no different. It has all kinds of items: be it flatware, cooking utensils, lighting, knickknacks, bath goods, kitchen goods, mirrors, foot stools, and the list goes on and on and on. All HomeGoods stores, this one included, are very good for what they are good for. They have those items that you need and/or never knew you wanted. Of course, it's a great place to stock up on those household items that you will need as well as they are very good for getting those unique gifts that you will probably never see anywhere else. The store is located on Ventura Boulevard and it has a nice parking lot above ground and underground. There's also some metered street parking, which is where I prefer to park. It just makes the whole process of entering and leaving the store so much easier. Overall, good place, when you go into this store you know what to expect. read more

This store is great! In all regards: merchandise selection & variety, customer service, very friendly and helpful store associates, and pleasant store atmosphere. The checkout lines are short too - thanks to the store management doing an awesome job by having as many checkout associates as possible. (Unlike the nearby Marshalls or TJ Maxx who are notorious about understaffing their checkout lanes...) All in all - wonderful store, very family-friendly. Keep up the great work!! read more

This homegoods is a standalone location right on Ventura Blvd in a small plaza with Marshall's. The parking can be a bit tricky as there are limited spaces on the ground level, though plenty of spaces in the lower garage. Word of warning, if you have a lowered car, use caution going into the garage as I saw a car get stuck during one of my previous visits. There is also an entrance directly onto the lower level from Ventura Blvd if you're coming from the East, right before you get to Marshall's. As far as the store, employees are super friendly and store is usually well organized. Tons of stuff for the home from small kitchen supplies to full on furniture. If you want to dress up your interior, I'm sure they'll have something for you here. The weekends can get very busy so be prepared for a possible wait to get in and a line to check out. Overall, great employees and a well kept store make it a pleasant shopping experience. read more

First time going to this HomeGoods location. It's fairly new. I was not impressed with the store because It didn't seem to be a full-scale home goods. This location does not appear to be as large as other locations I've gone to. The parking is terrible. Honestly I can't believe they put this HomeGoods at this location because trying to get in and out of here to get to the Marshalls store is really bad.
