For instance, today it was a busy Sunday afternoon; yet, out of 10 registers only 3 were open. The checkout line was very long; the wasted time was enormous. It is my understanding, that 10 checkout registers were installed for a reason. But it's sad to see that store management has disregarded the concept of reasonable checkout service and continues to chronically understaff its checkout registers.

Finding another Wasteland in Studio City was a pleasant surprise. It's not as big as the one in Hollywood, but it seemed to have a better mix of luxury, vintage and affordable premium brands. The store is super-clean and organized. Like the Hollywood store, each item is well-curated and reasonably priced. I found a cute top from the 70's for the daughter in amazing condition. Checkout was quick and easy. The security guard in front was very friendly. Lots of parking options. We'll be visiting often since a few of our favorite places to dine are nearby.
