They don't carry jewelry here. Handbags are in many parts of the store. Very gently used with good prices for the brand and condition. Saw a lot of shoes for men and women, with soles in very good condition or better. A very helpful, nice employee assisted me. Not sure what the experience is for sellers but I would definitely come back the next time I'm looking for a handbag.

They've changed management in the past 1-2 years or so, but the store's been looking even better than before! The team has always been somewhat easy, though, to get whenever I needed something, whether it be high-up, on a mannequin, or behind the counter. Ava and Paulina are the ABSOLUTE nicest and always have the BEST fashion advice (and they will be honest and not just say it looks good because they work there!) Their customer service is amazing and so many of them go above and beyond to help clientele. 2nd Street has raised their prices by just a bit in the past couple of years as well, but I feel like that's fair compared to other stores and businesses right now. If you are a SELLER, I think it's important to go in with no expectations. I'd typically recommend more of what you would give to Goodwill and all of those random bags of clothes that have been sitting in your garage vs. the fur coat that your great-grandmother gave you that you cherish and are thinking about selling. I would ALSO recommend looking up the payout sheet IF you are mainly focused on making MONEY from your pieces. Otherwise, drop-off and pickup are pretty easy and they're typically decently fast on their turn-around times. The store is organized based on Men's and Women's, and then most of the aisles are sectioned by type of garment, ex. tank tops, short sleeves, dresses, jeans (with the exception of a couple themed sections like Y2K or Designer.) Overall, though, they have such a good collection and assortment of pieces for adults including more affordable options and fun designer finds. I'm excited to go back!

Goodwill, good selection…read more Goodwill Southern California Retail Store & Donation Center - Sherman Oaks is always filled with folks. They have personable staff, a solid selection and the donation center is very well run. The wait to checkout always varies even when there's only one or two people in line or no one at all. We (the sales clerks and two other customers) witness a man walk out the store with an arm full of clothing and misc items O.O I was like oh my... In situation of theft staff can engage verbally but should not pursue. Noting shoplifters and pulling them up on security cameras to prevent them from returning it's the safest way to keep everyone safe, customers and all staff included. You never know what someone is capable of or going through. It's pretty sad, but I think they handled everything exceptionally well. I pop in for time to time for misc items. A couple months ago I popped in for props for an indie feature I worked on including some nice lamps and men's clothes. More recently I shopped for a friend and also a little for myself finding two great long sleeve shirts, a cool board game and a Dia De Los Muertos ceramic art piece I'm mailing to my friends up in the bay area for their space. Everything is clean, layed out and the staff on the floor are always polite and diligent with replenishing empty spaces. I was impressive with the new inventory also. Parking is an adventure here for sure. I can't remember the last time I drove here, mostly because I enjoy walking and riding the local metro busses. Spaces are limited and when cars are coming in and out, everything is only one way so it gets congested during peak hours. Highly recommend metered street or paid lot parking, though you can luck into things on the back streets, like Dickens, if you don't mind a little stroll. For the donation center you can request a pickup if you meet the minimum or drop off, check the online list to see what's accepted (mainly for household items, miscellaneous items and furniture. Donation center is open from 10AM to 6PM daily with the retail store open from at the same time, but until 9PM. Great deals throughout the week.

As I speak now my husband is cooking some great stir fry in the wok I bought today. This is the 2nd encounter I had with this rep where he was unprofessional and rude to me. The first time a few months ago he broke a tea cup I selected in the manner he handled it while scanning it. He refused me a refund and no apology. I just let it go with the understanding he could have had a bad day as I myself am a first responder RN and trust me I know what bad days are like. But todays 2nd encounter got me emotionally upset which forced me to have to write this message to you. Today March 14th I entered around 2:30 PM and selected a few items. Once it was my turn in line the same gentleman started to scan my items. Once my transaction was complete I realized an item was charged twice. I also declined the charity round up as I feel my public service contributes enough, it is nothing personal. He then still applied it and rudely called me out for not agreeing to it and then went on a tantrum accusing me of always being a problem for him. This was only my 2nd encounter with him. He then publicly embarrassed me in front of the whole store, loud and obnoxious. It brought all attention to me and I felt uncomfortable, embarrassed and harassed. Still no apology from this gentleman and the manager who assisted him. I not only want to speak up for myself but others who may not be as observant as me. This location used to be my favorite.

They have a no photo or video policy below eye level when you enter that has been in place since they opened their doors back in 2006 at the Sherman Oaks location. I fully respect it and their right, but haven't set foot in this store since before 2020 and even though I found some great stuff and got inspiration I think it might be a bit before I return. I was greeted when I walked in by a woman near the front... And later the manager let me know about the policy in case I missed it... She came on a little strong energy wise... I apologized and let her know I'm an avid reviewer who loves supporting small and local places (My camera oftens starts exploring before I actually do lol) Se did a complete 180 to super welcoming and encouraged me to share, but just to know they have a small sign up front... o.o Minor policy and rules aside you can enjoy your experience + find so much... Practically everything color coded, style coded and in one of the most organized ways possible... From long sleeve shirts to denim to cowboy, uniform, prom, costume chic to bins of scarfs and fabrics... Suits, outfits, graphic tees, tiaras and more... Iguana is a massive place to explore with an additional upstairs loft of vintage fun as well as a mini shoe shop esque section in back. It's super clean and has no shortage of abundance on the racks, shelves and most parts of the store. When I went to check out the other woman asked which part of the store I grabbed some of my items... I'm guessing because pricing varies this way... I did get quite a bit, but it's not as great of a value as other places close by like American Vintage.... Would pop in again for accessories if needed, but seek them out at a few other spots first. Definitely encourage everyone to have their own experience especially if seeking out something cool and vintage via Iguana Clothing - Sherman Oaks. Street metered parking available.
