The entire store from the time you enter until you the time you check out is an absolute mess. You cannot just walk into the store freely, you literally have to be let in by a security guard who unhooks the stanchion/crowd control barrier in order for you to pass (a very nice the security person, thankfully). Burlington Coat's upper and corporate management teams should be fired for allowing this store to be in such disarray. Shame on them!!! The Goodwill or Salvation Army may need to teach Burlington Coat how to organize their store. It's a shame because their prices are fair, but after being in that store you will literally want to go home and shower afterwards. It's that gross!!! read more

This is not one of the Burlington's I would like to regular. They aren't very organized and the floors look like they need cleaning. Stuff are usually throw around and it seems like the employees don't care about putting things back into the right place. I've only found maybe a few items here once. They were gifts during the Holiday times, but either than that I won't come here just to shop for myself. I like Burlington's but this one is just not it. Another down part is, it seems like their purse selection and Beauty care selections are always empty. Empty isles. They only have a few things but it's usually already opened or outdated. The parking structure is pretty big. It's also a home to a Big Lots, DD's Discount and a few other places. You shouldn't have problem finding parking even on a weekend. read more

So if you're in a hurry don't even consider walking into this store or you will be livid by the time you leave . They have 5 registers and only two of them are being used . Store is great but that's not what my rating is for. My rating is a 1 star because you have no privacy as a shopper or an employer as they keep there restroom doors open for no privacy whatsoever (3rd stall from right) you can clearly see into that stall and I felt my privacy was taken from me. I was not happy that after I complained the manager told me the restrooms would no longer be available to the public because of my concerns rather then just leave the restroom doors closed as they should be. Coats, shoes, hats, swimwear, clothes, house wears, beauty, home goods you name it, they have pretty much have what your looking for. The staff overall, are friendly, and their customer service is good. The only concern I see is the wait turn around time checking out they do not get or hire a lot of help depending on the needs of the store, cash and customer flow during the year. This is not the cashiers fault it is the CORPORATE that make the rules. A lot of customers are impatient and get pissed off at the cashier when it is not their fault they don't make the rules nor do the hiring. They have got it all, in recent years ever since COVID, things have never ever been the same this goes especially for shopping, as things have gone up the value at Burlington, has gone up again, it is a hit or miss type of thing but affordability is there. For what you pay for when you look at other prices, Burlington is pretty standard if you look at other stores and what they will charge. You are getting a good deal for what you get. Just corporate needs to hire more staff during the seasons and during the year. 1 to 10 I give this store a 8 out of 10 for effort, and as their slogan is BRANDS DEALS SAVINGS WOW The brands, deals and some $avings but the WOW has yet to be seen. She seemed sweet but took forever with one customer as the customer kept asking for prices & to remove things & add things. While 2 other employees were chit chatting & laughing, they looked at the line and didn't bother to open an additional line. There were 5+ people waiting in line. I love(d) Burlington. But I am going to assume Burlington does NOT love me! I had the worst experience today at their Corona store. It kind of left me wondering if they want/need my hard earned dollars. I sincerely wanted to use them in Burlington. Never again! I felt so unappreciated that I don't even have the words to express my dissatisfaction. The Manager was so rude and seemingly bothered by my presence-for simply asking a question..I simply parked my basket and politely took my $$ to Kohls where Customer Service "is" a priority and it showed. Went in 2 weeks ago. Spent a good amount of time clothes shopping to find the dressing rooms were closed. They had no answer as to why. They blamed corporate, but had no reason. I called corporate and they said there is no reason the dressing rooms should be closed. Went in again and dressing rooms still closed and now they have the entrance roped off. There is a loss prevention worker that asked me: what are you shopping for? I replied: just looking around, why are you stopping people from coming in? She replied: customer service, to see if you need help finding something. then she undid the rope and let me in. Wth is this? They have no staff to open dressing rooms or contain the long lines, but they have staff to open and close ropes at the door asking what you are shopping for? I wont be back. What happened to this Burlington? It used to be a great place to shop with great deals. Went in yesterday. The inventory was sparse but found a few things to try on. Went to the dressing room. There was no one working in there, so went to a stall and was told by the security guard that the dressing rooms were closed because no one was there to work in them, to go find a manager. So walked up to a cashier and asked if I could try on clothes. She said yes, the fitting rooms are open. Told her what the security guard said and she said, "Oh, then I don't know." That was it. They're able to employ a security guard but not a fitting room attendant? I put my stuff down and walked out. read more

The problem is for such a large retail store I'm struggling to understand why the lines continue to be so long while only a couple registers in use at a time. It's never a quick run in and out because expect to wait in line at least 30 minutes. It makes you want to avoid this place all together. I don't know How The Heck Burlington stays in Bustiness, it's so trashy, Dirty, it Smells like an old Bathroom, and the staff seems to think they work at The DMV, instead of having Designated Lines connected to each cashier ( which makes things go faster for the customers and it knocks out the frustrating long one line they have arranged. Which is hiding behind a big old showcase wall.) The big Lady Heavy set with the curly black frizzy shoulder length hair was rude she looks miserable working she doesn't even carry a smile nor does she talk unless it's something for her to tell you, and gives customers attitude every time she opens her mouth. If your looking for a peaceful, innovative, pleasant experience while shopping with reasonable quality material, Do the staff a favor and Do Not Waste your Gas, Time, or Money here on Burlington, even D.D.'s Is a little more pleasant than this Rats nest. If I were to make a list of all the discount stores (Marshalls, Ross, TJ Maxx, etc.) I'd put Burlington near the bottom of the list. That said, if you're willing to take the time to sort through their piles of merchandise, once in a Blue Moon you'll run across some good bargains. Case in point - recently I scored some Adidas running tights and sports bras here for just under $10 each! Unfortunately most times I visit here, bargains like that are not in the offing, and I end up leaving empty handed :-( Bottom line: If bargains are your jam, then given a large dollop of patience and regular homage to the Gods of Discount, visiting here can yield good results. read more

Sadly I just came out of Burlington in which I never had a problem with before...Today I witness a manager giving a customer a hard time abt a 9$ shirt he purchased days ago n now wanted to return it. he had the receipt and tags, but the manager came up with so many excuses of why she couldn't take it back. Very adamant about a small stain on the shirt, in which I heard him say this is how I bought it!! 9$!! wow. When it came to purchasing the item I was checking out for a small damage on a Christmas Reef, all I asked is for small discount since I really wanted it. another manager Sheryl came, ripped the little cranberries off the reef and stabbed in back in saying no discount!! lol was I surprised? poor customer service... shame on these managers read more

It is what it is. The promise of Burlington, just like its cousins Ross, TJMaxx, and Marshalls, is the possibility that you will find a great deal. I have been lucky on occasional visits, mostly in finding dresses and skirts suitable for work, as well as shoes that are appropriate for my career outfits, as well. Like those other stores, great patience is required to sift through the racks and find what you like. If you enjoy that sort of thing, this will be your spot. If you hate it, stay away.
