Well, I was recently here again, but this time it was to try Slice House Pizza. Surprise surprise, Chopstix House, Subway, Waba Grill, Pita Street, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream (always busy), Nektar Juice, Starbucks, Sunny Donuts, and Ralphs + Ralphs gas are here, too. They have other non-restaurant businesses that offer services for beauty supply, hair, nails, banking, mailing, cleaners, cell phone repair, smokes, medical clinic, vet, children's learning experience center, tae kwon do, Brazilian waxing, etc, as well. Wow, what a well rounded marketplace! Parking spaces are adequate. It's actually not that big of a block, but big enough to hold some great restaurants for dining and stores for shopping that's worthy of an afternoon or evening visit. The only thing I didn't see much if at all are clothing and souvenirs shops. Of course Eastvale Gateway shopping center is diagonally across the street from it and Eastvale South is to its left. Yeah, I get it... there's already lots of other shopping offerings around. Nevertheless, Cloverdale Marketplace is worth a visit when you're in the Eastvale area.

The Shops at Jurupa Valley has a lot of potential and some great stores, but the overall layout and…read moreplanning leave a lot to be desired. One of the biggest issues is the lack of designated delivery truck areas, which regularly leads to traffic congestion and makes navigating the center frustrating at times. Pedestrian access is another concern--there's no clear or safe sidewalk connection from Mission Blvd over to Target, so you often find yourself walking directly in traffic lanes, which doesn't feel safe at all. There's also a noticeable shortage of trash cans throughout the property, which impacts cleanliness. And while this center has been open for about a year, it's disappointing that public seating areas still haven't been installed. There aren't really any inviting spaces where people can sit, gather, or just enjoy being there. Overall, it feels like the center was built with retail in mind, but not the full community experience. With some thoughtful improvements--better traffic flow, pedestrian safety, and shared spaces--this could be a much more welcoming and functional destination.

The newer side is called Eastvale Gateway South. It's south because it's on the southside of Limonite Ave. I've been to the original Eastvale Gateway before because my optometrist is located on that side. A few days ago, it was my first time visiting Eastvale Gateway South because it has two of my daughters favorite fast food restaurants, McDonald's and Panda Express. I was having dinner with a friend at the original Eastvale Gateway side. Afterwards, I drove on over to the south side to pick up dinner for my daughters. What a nice convenience! The south side also has Corky's Kitchen & Bakery, Little Caesar's Pizza, Wingstop, Yogurtland, and maybe a few more businesses. It feels like it's a very small extension to the north side IMHO. Now that I know it's here to stay, I'll be back to check out the other good eateries besides our two favorites. I don't have pics at this time. I'll capture them next time. Thank you!
