Had the best experience at any Macy's store in the country today because of Gus in the Men's suit…read moredepartment! He knew I was wearing the wrong jacket size when he walked up to us. As a result of his experience, customer service and energetic personality he assisted me in getting a proper suit for a funeral. He also assisted in getting a dress shirt as well. He also mentioned the 30% off if I opened a Macy's credit card and I did it because of him. He really made a positive impression and a worthwhile purchase experience. Macy's and their customers are fortunate to have a honest person in Gus working as an employee. Keep up the great work Gus!

Consider this the review I wish I had read before buying a bed from Macy's…read more I purchased a king mattress and specifically agreed on a head-and-foot adjustable base. The salesperson entered the wrong base on my order. Macy's acknowledged that the error was theirs, not mine. Getting their mistake corrected became an ordeal of its own. After the original error, I waited over a week and NO manager reached out to me. Calls to the store went unanswered, so I actually had to drive to the store IN PERSON--TWICE--just to try to speak with a manager, escalate the situation, and get someone to resolve it. Eventually, a replacement delivery was arranged. I asked for the replacement delivery on a day that worked with my work schedule. Macy's refused to accommodate that day and instead gave me limited delivery-day options. So, because I needed THEIR mistake corrected, I had to take additional time away from work, rearrange my clients, and make myself available for a delivery window of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. After doing all of that, the replacement delivery arrived today. They brought ONE Twin XL adjustable base for my king bed. The delivery team then told me there were supposed to be TWO Twin XL bases, but the second one had never even been put on the truck. So they took the one Twin XL base back with them. I rearranged my work schedule and my clients and made myself available for a 10-hour delivery window so Macy's could correct THEIR original mistake--and I am once again left without the adjustable base I purchased and, at this point, without an immediate solution. Their apology for everything so far? $50 in Macy's gift cards. Except it's actually TWO $25 gift cards--and they can only be used on separate orders. Mistakes happen. I understand that. But this is no longer one mistake. The original order was entered incorrectly. No manager contacted me for over a week. The store wasn't answering the phone, requiring me to physically go there twice just to get the situation escalated. I was then expected to accommodate Macy's delivery schedule to correct their mistake, costing me work time and requiring me to rearrange my clients. And after ALL of that, the corrective delivery itself was incomplete. At some point, this stops being one mistake and becomes a customer-service problem. After two failed attempts, multiple phone calls, TWO trips to the store, lost work time, rearranged clients, and hours of my time spent trying to receive what I actually purchased, I STILL do not have my adjustable base. And somehow, I am once again the person left figuring out how to get Macy's mistake corrected. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will now be escalating this through additional consumer channels. I would absolutely not purchase furniture or a mattress from Macy's again.

Target - Has one little sign that says "Drive Up" but it's blocked by a tree.

I don't come to this Target often, but usually when I do it's because I'm running errands in South…read moreJersey. It's usually always so much more well-stocked than most other Targets I frequent, and I can usually find everything I'm looking for. Anywho, I wanted to write a quick review based on the Drive-Up feature at this particular Target. As I found myself circling around the parking lot for about 5 minutes or so before I could find where the drive up was at. It's not noticeable at all. The parking lot itself is quite vast by the way! Plenty of parking! But like said, I could not easily find where the Drive Up was and I was starting to wonder if I was going to have to switch to Pick Up. Thankfully after circling around some more, I found it on the outer most right edge of the parking lot, towards Petco. The sign is blocked by a tree, and the drive up number signs are quite short and aren't as obvious when you first drive into the parking lot. This locations Drive-Up is quite far from the main entrance of its Target, and this is the first time I'm seeing a drive up so far away! Usually it's within decent distance, this one was far! Then the employees have a far walk back into the main entrance in the scorching heat or some other disastrous weather. I think Drive Up is an amazing feature, but because it's quite far for the employees of this particular Target and it's not as noticeable from the main entrance of Target's parking lot, I'm iffy about using it again for this particular location. Not to mention the roads around here are always quite confusing and interesting. It's doable if you do it often or use a GPS, but I have gotten confused coming into and out of this plaza time and time again.

Drove here because it said they had 14 of an item in stock. When we got here the girl said that…read moreyes, it's showing they have 14 but she doesn't want to go in the back to find them. Absolutely horrible experience.

Target - This is how far, from the main entrance into Target, the drive up for picking up orders is. It's not as clear to find.

I didn't really know much about Stein Mart stores - I kinda associated them with old lady clothes,…read morelots of sequins and flowery stuff. I was pleasantly surprised to see they carry some nice business casual wear as well. It is like a step child to Kohl's because they offer a limited choice of housewares from plates, to home decorations, towels, furniture, etc. They also carry shoes (a plus that they offer those fake little nylons for trying on shoes), purses, sunglasses, all that stuff. I will say that I was approached a little rudely by one of the sales ladies who made a comment about what I could or couldn't bring into the rooms to try on some clothes. Maybe she was having a crappy day or her feet hurt, who knew.

Do you think they'll offer discounts to frequent shoppers?! Here we are today, and I've YET to find anything worth buying in this palce. I stopped in last week in search of a discounted dress, but all I found were stiff, high-colored maiden frocks in clashy, bright colors. I second the reviewer below - most of the clothing reminds you of 1990s elementary school teacher style, all fit to be paired with a multi-colored macaroni necklace. Worse still, a lot of the stuff is still way expensive, especially in the homegoods department. Save your time and head to TJ Maxx, Marshall's, or Homegoods instead.
