Anyhow, it took me a few minutes to get my bearings. And unusually I had to read the signs to see where everything was located. The stock, too, was a bit different than my usual Marshall's. And there was a lot of merchandise. Although not that much was available in my size compared to my usual place, either. Besides not finding any clothing that appealed to me, the store had a foul smell. It wasn't a "moth ball" smell but it was a bad smell - - I almost walked right out. The home department was still very nice but the clothing not so much. I did purchase one pair of shorts but really wish there were more. The checkout staff was very friendly and quick. The formal dress department was easy to find since they have them all in one area. I tried on a few but didn't fine the exact one. Looking for a casual dress was little more difficult.`Everything is displayed by designer. Its frustrating trying to find a pretty dress in spring colors. Inventory is good with various brands, product options from which to select: colors, styles, features, etc. Good deals and discounts are available, especially if join Rewards program. Although the team members frequently have difficulty applying the discounts. More employee training would be helpful.
