This TJ Maxx location is my favorite because of its location and for all of the other stores in this shopping center. I drop in here on Monday mornings because it is much cleaner and more organized than on the weekend. They also have a 55+ discount on everything in the store. I love their baby section because it is so much cheaper than shopping online or some of the big box stores. They have great toys and baby accessories. On this most recent visit I noticed how much Halloween holiday stuff they had out. It is literally one stop shopping for home decor and costumes for all the kiddos. This store is a HOT MESS! Stuff is everywhere. More like a garage sale than a TJMaxx. Hire more workers to recover your store!

Customer Service was horrible. I waited in line for 15 minutes to encounter a combative employee. I visited the store last week and noticed a security tag. I returned to have it removed, as I didn't want to ruin my new garment. She started scolding me about not removing it myself. She was rude and kept arguing even when I stopped responding. If people are that angry, they should not be working with the public. I was unaware of the policies, nor do they tell you--poor communication and customer service. I would rather spend a little more $$ somewhere else than be talked down to because an employee is incapable of human kindness. There are too many other places out there that value their customers and business. read more

The store is nice, however, they never have more than a couple of registers open! Whoever manages this store is horrible! I was in there twice yesterday. The first time I walked out because the line was wrapped around and the second time was at 6 pm which is prime time as people are out of work, therefore more people would be shopping. There were ONLY 2 registers open!!! They should shut those darn lights off because it's deceiving thinking more registers are open. I'll stick with the store in Boynton. No one wants to wait on a line for a long time. Also, there were other clerks up there but were just chatting and not up at the registers. read more

TJ Maxx is my go-to store when I'm at that stage in my life where I've lost weight, but not enough to warrant spending $50 on a pair of jeans. I've been a fan of just about every TJ Maxx I've been to, and this one in Florida was pretty decent. Not the best, but a solid place to find good deals on clothes. It's located in a strip mall, and has plenty of signage, so you don't have to hunt for it. One thing I like is that they have benches out from for you to sit on. This is the only TJ Maxx I've been to that has that. It was a nice touch to have a place to site while waiting for the Lyft driver to show up. The store itself was neat and clean, the people that worked there were really nice and helpful. I had some questions, and they all got answered above and beyond what I would have expected. So big kudos to this store for their customer service! They had a good selection of clothing for guys (I'm a big dude, and sometimes finding my size can be a challenge), and I was able to find a pair of shorts in my size with no problem. One of my biggest pet peeves is when they put the wrong size clothing on the wrong size marked hanger or in the wrong size section. I can't even tell you how many times I've found something cool looking only to discover it only fits a 12-year old. This place had everything in the right place, and I appreciated that. Bottom line? Go check this place out. It was a very satisfying experience from the moment I walked through the door. read more

They are following Covid protocol- and that was great. There is someone in the front wiping down the carts and counting the people coming in . so had t been here in so long that it was nice to look around. Of course since you can't try anything on, yoel need to purchase and take everything home. So that is exactly what I did. They always have good deals here- whether it's jewelry, clothes, shoes or trinkets. The sales people were very nice as well. They all seem to be happy to be working which is nice. read more

TJ Maxx is a store I enjoy shopping in & I always find something to buy. They have an excellent selection of purses, especially Nine West and Michael Kors. If you see something that you really like I suggest buying it on the spot. I learned the hard way when I was going back and forth on a purse & when I decided make my purchase two days later it was gone. I have found some cute things for my home & also found a few nice gifts too. From candles to picture frames, you will probably find something you like, either for yourself or to give as a gift. I can't comment on the clothes or shoes because I tend to spend my time looking at purses or finding something I love in the home department. One thing I have to comment on is the service. Unlike Marshalls, they have a great crew at this store. You will find happy smiling people who are eager to help you & that is such a good feeling. I was expecting clothes strewn all over the place and having to sort through endless, cluttered racks of messiness. That was not the case at all! I came looking for some new additions to my activewear wardrobe, and it was a breeze. There was such a fabulous selection of leggings, sports bras, and tops. Sure, there could have been a larger selection of tops and bras in my size, XS/S, as it was slim pickings, but I happily left with one high quality Tahari sports bra, two nice tops, and two awesome pairs of leggings. On the way out, I even found an adorable and cheap water bowl for my guy's pup that we couldn't resist. All of this was for a great price. I'm a happy customer. read more

I've been stopping in at this branch off and on over the last few years. This used to be a nice spot to pick up vacation gear like hats, sunglasses, bathing suits, sandals and even a fragrance or two for evenings out. Unfortunately, after the last few visits, I can say this is no longer get the case. This time around I couldn't help but notice the lack of inventory on the floor (for men at least). They barely had anything of interest for the casual Florida shopper. They didn't even have a single pair of sunglasses...and it's August! Very surprising. I left disappointed. read more

Thanks to my Mom, I'm a big fan T.J. Maxx. I always find cool stuff at great prices there. My latest excursion involved picking up a pair of auxiliary cables for my iPod in the car for $5, a pair of bluetooth over-ear headphones for $20, charcoal body wash for $4, and 18 K-Cups for my morning coffee for $8. I always seem to find some good items whenever I go to the Delray location. And the retail clerks behind the cash register are always friendly. That goes a long way for me. read more

My TJ is close enough that I can go every weekend if I want to. However, if it weren't so far away (45 minutes), I would to to the one in Palm Beach Gardens, which is amazing. I went to my store today and the checkout line was wrapped around so far that it went down the aisle next to the men's department. There are a couple of associates with attitude and my husband and I encountered one at the jewelry counter today. I actually prefer the Marshall's that's in the same shopping center. On August 4 I went into this Tj max with my mother. I picked out 4 RUNWAY items and was so excited about all of them. When I got home I was missing one of the 4 items, the gorgeous silk Theory pants were MISSING. I called the store to tell them about what has happened apparently no one has seen the pants, the lady I spoke with told me to come in and speak with a manager and did not give me any specifics. On August 9 I finally had a free day to go there to speak with a manager. The manager on duty was so RUDE, ( Deb in her 50s beige highlighted hair to the shoulder length, )she told me I came in to late and there was nothing she could do since I didn't have the name of the manager I spoke to. (To me that sounds ironic because there are only 2 other mangers that work in the store ) she did not seem cooperative in any way she tried to make it seem as if it is my fault that the pants were missing. I told her to perhaps check the cameras (as other manger mentioned ) she said she had no way to help me, to me it appeared as if she wasn't even trying to. My mother and I just walked away, getting her to help out was hopeless. I'm sad about the pants I loved, not only I paid for something that I wasn't even given but was also spoken to in a really rude manner. read more

This tj max was pretty nice . The store was organized and in order . The selection on clothing and merchandise was all fully stocked and for the most part in the designated places . Customer service was good and the lady who rang me up was helpful and nice . I would recommend this place and the there are lots of sales and inexpensive buys here as well. read more

Was on my way to Marshall's today at the Plaza at Delray and noticed that TJ Maxx had opened, and decided to stop in and have a look. The store was very clean and well-organized, which I have to attribute to it being new. Actually, it was new to the point that there aren't even any clearance racks yet. They have clothes for men, women and children, your usual accessories and toiletries, some housewares, a pretty nice jewelry selection, and shoes - but for women only. The clothes were pretty run of the mill, lots of Max Azria, Donna Morgan, some Calvin Klein lingerie, etc. I looked over the shoe selection, which oftentimes makes me feel like a redheaded stepchild because I wear a size 10 narrow, so the pickings were pretty slim. I found an adorable pair of suede platform ankle strap sandals by Ugg marked down to $29.99, but unfortunately one of the ankle straps was missing. They also had a pair of Donald J. Pliner sandals made completely of cork, another high end brand, but they were hideous. I may come back to see what they have to offer in a month or two, but to be honest I still prefer Marshall's, in the same plaza. Their brand selection is better and they seem to just have a lot more to choose from. read more

I came in today Wednesday, September 27th 2017, to buy a dog food tray I saw yesterday but decided not to buy because one of the bowls was missing. I changed my mind and decided to go buy it anyway and find a ball somewhere else, the tray was marked down $10 I'm assuming because the bowl was missing but then I noticed the actual metal part that holds it up was also broken so I asked the manager on duty, Jackie if she could give me another discount because the already marked down price was still too high to pay for something broken to that extent. She was quite rude and not helpful in the slightest! She kept telling me that I would have to wait there for someone to go back and look for the missing bowl which I had explained to her I had done twice in two days and could not find it anywhere. I doubt that an employee's eyes would be better than mine at finding a bowl that I had already looked for... I know very well that as the manager she had the power to just mark it down another $10 at least but instead decided to be rude and not helpful. I won't be giving tjmaxx my business anymore. I'm tired of these incompetent, rude people. read more

Went to TJ Maxx In Delray found a group of planters, large medium and small, the planters inside the large one were covered in cardboard. Went to check out and paid and before I left the cashier said oh those 2 on the inside are separate. The check out line is long and everyone is looking so I pulled(with some difficulty) the smaller pots out and handed them the cashier along with all the card board. I'm now embarrassed and mad so I called the store a short time later to complain. I spoke with Steve maybe a store manager not sure (he should never speak with customers that are more than 10 years old maybe they would accept his excuses but not many adults would. read more

Showed up at 8:07 on a Sunday night. Sign said hours were until 8:30. Wanted to check for a coat, as it was 60 degrees out and dropping to low 50s. Walked in behind another potential customer and heard a cashier shout "we're closed!" from the register. No apologies or explanation. Just shouting "we're closed" across the room a second time as I came through the doors behind the other potential customer. Incredibly rude and unprofessional, not to mention the lost sales. read more
