Adriana's Tailoring was number one on the list and so highly reviewed. Even so, we never believed it would be possible for us to get it done in time. We called and asked if she could do the impossible and she said "come on in". She treated us with the utmost professionalism and kindness and told us she could have it done in a couple of hours. We went down the street and had some lunch to kill time but by the time we were done she was calling us to come back. Not only did she charge us a fair rush fee (considering the circumstances she could have charged us anything), but she did an amazing job! You would've thought that the gown was tailor-made for me. Her prices are fair and reasonable. Her attention to detail and the pride she obviously takes in her work are remarkable. Her professionalism and accommodating nature make her stand out even more than the quality of her work. We live in Miami and whenever we need any alterations or tailoring, we do not hesitate to make the drive up to Adriana's Tailoring. We've also recently discovered that she has an amazing knack for design and upholstery and cannot wait to have a chance to put that portion of her talent to use. We have highly recommended Adriana to everyone we know in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties and I have only the highest praise for her and her work... Harry was able to repair the hole in my sofa that was done by my dog, clean the sofa from top to bottom and re-color the damaged areas. My wife and I thought about buying a new sofa but this was a quality piece of furniture that we loved and didn't want to part with. Harry and his staff made it like new. They also take painstaking steps to protect the area they are working in, and make sure the area was spotless when done. You could never tell they were there except for taking my damaged and discolored sofa and making it look new. Palmetto Park Rd., Bay 23 in Boca Raton, within the Publix shopping plaza at the intersection of Palmetto and Powerline. I brought in a designer handbag for zipper repair. When I retrieved the item, the strap had been scratched and ripped, and the underside of the handbag was significantly damaged. There was visible hot glue residue and multiple scratches all over the leather. The bag had been in excellent condition prior to the repair, and the result was unacceptable. When I raised concerns about the condition of the item and the appropriateness of payment, I was met with unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. The shoemaker and an individual who appeared to be his spouse made disparaging and anti-Semitic remarks, including comments about "Jewish Boca women" being superficial for purchasing designer goods. Incidentally, they have no idea what my religion is, as I do not know them personally beyond being their customer. I am sharing this experience not only to warn others about the poor quality of workmanship, but also to highlight the deeply troubling conduct and values demonstrated by the individuals running this business. Their willingness to damage a customer's property, refuse accountability, and then resort to offensive, anti-Semitic remarks reflects a complete lack of professionalism, integrity, and basic respect.
