Dropped off my canvas and helm seats, was told it would be ready by end of the week. 3 weeks later…read moreafter 12 trips to this shop I get my canvas and seats and the seats are falling apart, the canvas zipper is sown on backwards, the straps are on the wrong side. They told me they used a hot glue gun to glue my seats together! I returned the canvas for repair they said come get it tomorrow, I show up and they haven't touched it. They say come back in an hour and it's still not done 2 hours later. They dont accept phone calls and refuse to call you. I've wasted so much time driving back and forth I feel like a hostage. I'm sitting in the parking lot waiting for a zipper to get down back on and I'm never coming back again.

When you make the investment to have Teak outdoor furniture, you know that part of that commitment…read moreto keep it beautiful is annual maintenance. While I might have done it myself in the past when I had one or two pieces, now with 16 Teak pieces, I needed some professional help. After looking around online, I found Touch Up Teak and boy am I glad that I did! The office was very professional and got me an estimate very quickly. Their prices were reasonable and even better, they were able to get me scheduled quickly. Alex and Jonathon came out to my home, and began the process of stripping off the old finish and cleaning up all the pieces on day one. They were very neat and tidy with all processes and made sure that the dirt wasn't tracked into my home. The 2nd day they began to re stain the furniture with a marine grade stain that I supplied given I had some left over from the last time the pieces were worked on (they have options that they use on their website that you can review). Within 2.5 days, my furniture was back and looking brand new! They have an annual maintenance plan that I am going to sign up for to keep my investment looking great year after year and that's no small feat given this all sits outside in Florida weather. Also- I was pleased to hear that they do some of the major hotels here in town so their level of expertise is high. Believe the reviews on Yelp. Touch up Teak gets it done!

BEWARE OF FREE VIST & PROPOSAL - You could easily be asked to pay $400 + the cost of wasted time…read more I had high hopes but was let down by the sales team, specifically Diego Ortiz. A member of the sales team comes to your home, takes up half your day and then sends a quote with an autodelete date which they don't disclose. If you don't open according to some deadline you're never told about, the entire message and quote disappear. To resend the message costs $400! I understand when companies state quotes are only good for 30 days because prices can change, but $400 just to resend the original email? I have never heard of such a thing. DONT WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME? PRODUCT INFO: Here is what I learned about their product although I'm working from memory since I can no longer see the estimate. In comparing them with competitors, they only offer a 10yr warranty (not lifetime), there is no guarantee against rust (not great for S. Florida garages), the product is much thinner than others at about 1/2" compared to 1" so it's more susceptible to warping, it also means it has a lower max weight threshold, the warranty for garage flooring doesn't cover stains, they do not assist with removal of items in the garage - at least 2 other competitors include move out and complimentary storage.
