I could not be happier with the work. The upholstered chair was the secondhand find as was the fabric, but they put these two together and really made this piece sing. I had very specific requests for where the intersecting lines should land relative to the chairs frame and what they returned was exactly what I asked for. They even did some work on the springs to make sure the chair was sturdy. Jose picked up the chair about 24 hours after we first spoke. He said a week and had it done and delivered early. I just cannot say enough about this business. Jose is a true professional, courteous, and a craftsman.

Patrick & Sons cleans the carpet in our condo building and were such a good find!…read more We came across Patrick when we needed to have the carpet cleaned in our condo and used him several times. To clean a one bedroom condo with all carpet, Patrick charged ($80), his minimum service charge. Patrick is extremely professional, quick (but efficient), and is very reasonable. We recently moved to another condo in our building and have all tile, but have multiple area rugs. We then called Patrick again and he came by to clean our shag rug and did so and was very reasonable and quick and efficient. Patrick and his team service pretty much any of the Miami metro areas, on a 24/7 basis. If you need any of your carpets or rugs cleaned, give Patrick and his team a call, you will be glad you did!

I've communicated with MANY…read moreupholsterers trying to get quotes and sadly many did not even respond, and those that did took a LONG TIME to respond and gave me ridiculous prices. Sheesh it was more economical to replace the chairs, rather than reupholster! Well my husband REALY loved the size, design & comfort of the chairs so off I went to do another search for reupholsters. I cam across Aventura Window Cover and Design and my search was over!!! They responded in approximately 5 minutes from the moment I requested a quote. We were back and forth for about another 10 minutes discussing the details of my project and I was scheduled to have Manny over at my place within a couple of days! Not only was Manny punctual he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our challenge was finding a fabric that I liked that was actually IN STOCK! LOL Manny paid me another visit so that we could go over fabric swatches again, because the supplier was sold out of the original fabric I chose, but he had so many options that it did not become a problem. He was gracious enough to contact the supplier while we were together to ensure I chose a fabric that was available. He got my chairs redone in a couple of weeks and did a magnificent job!!! His prices were pretty good. MUCH LESS than others quoted for the same job. All in all I am super happy and would recommend Aventura Window Cover & Design wholeheartedly. I will add BEFORE & AFTER PICS shortly.

I hired Manny to reupholster my furniture. Manny Mendez, aka Florentino, the owner of the company…read more He presented himself as an expert and recommended a specific material, assuring me it was durable and resistant to dog scratches. The same material he uses for boats. Based on his recommendation, I agreed and paid a 50% deposit of $1,000 via Zelle on August 2, 2025. When the furniture was delivered on August 8, it arrived with visible oil stains and the material scratched easily, contrary to his assurances. When I raised these issues, Manny dismissed my concerns and later removed the furniture, saying he would correct the problem by reupholstering the two chairs. Instead of correcting the issue, Manny stopped responding to my calls and texts, and later demanded the remaining $500 in cash only before allowing me to even see my furniture. This led to a dispute that required police involvement. Under supervision, I was finally able to inspect the furniture and discovered the material had not been replaced as promised. In the end, I was forced to pay the balance just to recover my furniture, which still had the same problems. Manny denied responsibility, acted unprofessionally, and did not deliver the work he promised.
