I went back to the store, hoping they'd fix it, and instead of taking responsibility, the staff stated that I had changed my mind and insisted that the hem was the length I requested. The hem sat 2 inches past my shoes and dragged on the floor. I was unable to walk without tripping. The seamstress refused to fix the length of the hem unless I agreed with her that I had "changed my mind and said I was sorry." I've never been treated so rudely by a business. They failed to do the job right, and the customer service was appalling. I felt they were very disrespectful and implied that I was a liar. I will never return.

Desire your dry cleaning to smell like body odor? Go to Fair Center Cleaners in Fair Lakes Shopping…read moreCenter! I return a dry-cleaned suit jacket because the arm pits still smelled after Fair Center Cleaners' initial service. I specifically explained this a re-clean because they didn't clean it effectively the first time. Upon picking up the jacket the second time, the same smell exists and is easily detected by waving the jacket around. The staff claim they can't smell any body odor. I was absolutely appalled 1) that they claimed they couldn't smell it and 2) they refused to return the paid amount $8.50. Why would I bother to give them a third chance to 'clean' it again. I explained I have been coming here for a number of years (mostly laundry not dry-cleaning) and asked why they are they lying, not providing a cleaned product, and do they not care about retaining customers. The owner said, 'We don't need your business.' Well there you have it folks, consider finding a dry cleaner that actually needs customers instead of taking money for continued failed service. And note this is not an isolated incident, read complaints from other past customers both on Yelp and Google.

There is an abundance of parking spaces in the front of the shopping center and on the left side as well. 2. Cleanliness: The place is very neatly kept. The fitting room is very clean and bright. I would use the fitting room on several occassions when I need to show Mai, the seamstress, the fit of the pants and preferred alternation markings. Mai and her husband keep the place nice and neat. 3. Service: Mai, her husband, Loc, and the entire team always go above and beyond to make sure your clothes are evenly pressed, clean, and well maintained. They have been in business for a very long time, and are extremely knowledgeable and kind. In addition to dry cleaning, Mai tailors clothes very well. She had hemmed many of my work pants and jeans. Furthermore, Mai and her husband are amazing at spot checking for stains and ensuring the removal of it. 4. Costs: The price is reasonable and subject to change based on the category of the clothes. These are just a few of the costs that I've incurred to dry clean, which do not cover the entire category in their system. Sport jacket - $5 Skirt - $4.95 Dress - $8.95 5. Overall experience: I am such a fan of this dry cleaner and the service here never fall short of expectations. I bring my best clothing pieces to Connells Valet to have the team take good care of it and they always do. Side Notes: I've been a loyal customer at this dry cleaner for 7 years. I am beyond pleased with the service here and hope that their business continues to thrive.

When my mother informed them of this, the owners and staff became verbally aggressive towards her, accusing her of losing the items instead. They refuse to accept responsibility and provide any form of compensation or apology to my mother or our family. On top of losing our suits, the stuff we did receive back wasn't dry cleaned properly, with new stains and marks that weren't there before. They will over charge you SO MUCH compared to any other dry cleaners I've ever been to. 2. I came back home with a cardigan that had 7 different holes in my sweater... was so upset and frustrated. I called them back and the lady said sweaters tear during the process if it's too thin. Why did they charge as a heavy sweater then? And if it was damaged, why didn't they call me to let me know that it was damaged before I picked it up? The lady transferred me over to this guy (assuming it's the owner) and he said I already had holes in my sweater. Cleaners call their customers when they spot any flaws before beginning their process of dry cleaning but I didn't receive a single call. I wouldn't have dropped my sweater at the cleaners in the first place if I had any disorientation on my clothes. What's the point of paying to get something dry cleaned if it has flaws already? Extremely rudely, he said he would try fixing it by sewing the holes together. How can I trust this place with anything? He should clearly know that this type of fabric CANNOT be sewed together! I wasted my money on dry cleaning clothes that I can NEVER wear again... And he just hung up the phone on me without any apology. 3. Customer service is complete garbage. They were rude ever since the time I dropped off my clothes until the time I was hung up over the phone. They're careless about their customers. I've heard so many people say horrible this place was but because of their great ratings, I wanted to give it a shot. THAT WAS A HORRIBLE MISTAKE! Do NOT go here unless you want to get your clothes damaged. You'll definitely waste your money and better yet, you'll come home feeling like poop.
