I have always been happy with their service until I had an issue with my heater. An error would come on and the heater wouldn't work. It took more than one visit to get that fixed but then my thermostat isn't working correctly. I've had 2 supervisors out and the first one took the cover off my outlet and plugged in the heater. We hired Burgeson's to replace our old knob and tubing in 2 homes as well as a new electrical panel and a mini split in one of the homes, both homes nearly 100 years old. Adam arrived as scheduled to give us a bid (which was very fair), was very thorough inspecting the homes and answered all of our questions. PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP!!! In the past, we shopped around for cost but were dissatisfied with the service so we chose this company based on their reputation and referrals from several people. I am so glad we did. For the past 6 years, we have gotten the most outstanding service from Burgeson's. We have 3 accounts- commercial, for our private home and for our rental home. Twice this year during the hottest days, we've called and gotten IMMEDIATE service. From the person who answers the phone, to the technicians and people in customer service , it is evident that there is extreme pride of ownership. Our commercial business just purchased a new AC unit and it was installed in less than 4 hours. Our unit went down and but within 5 days, there was a crane and 2 very experienced technicians working on our roof to get it installed. We also purchased a unit for our rental property and it recently wasn't blowing cold air. The technician was out there within 30 minutes of my call. The unit was not maintained well by our tenants so he serviced it and it was blowing ice cold air in less than 45 minutes. We installed a completely new HVAC system. The air handler had not been updated in nearly 60 years, and the previous heat pump compressor installed by another company only worked for a short time. Burgeson's did the work right. The price was not the cheapest, and we had to borrow, but we never regretted our decision. After having no central air or heating for decades, this home is now comfortable all year round for far less expense than when using a few space heaters and ac units. We were going to do major updates on doors and windows, but the new system has made that purely optional. Sales reps were very honest and straightforward; techs were on top of everything. They helped my mom get a new air conditioner, heater for a reasonable price and on a payment plan that she can afford. They did a fantastic job of installation. They threw in several things, like new vent covers and future servicing on the units. They gave a great warranty and did everything the very next day, after she signed the agreement. These guys are competent, organized, expedient and accommodating - more than expected. They extended benefits on warranty issues with my Lennox AC beyond terms. I had issues with a replacement coil and refrigerant that should have cost me $2K easily. They cut it in half (refrigerant isn't cheap)! Then I had another issue with a capacitor, they covered it even after I tried to go cheap and use a friend who didn't do the job correctly. Andy, one of the supervisors personally came to my house and looked after my AC unit and advised the correct repair - awesome. He sent Cage, a very smart technician to come and do the repairs. We were looking for a reasonable price for installation of a ev charger. We decided to try Burgeson's based on a friend that uses them. Customer service was really helpful over the phone while making the appointment, had the supervisor call me since I had more questions they couldn't answer. We did have to reschedule due to their technician getting stuck at a job that was taking longer, but they called the day before which was great. The day of service their technician was extremely helpful, he explained everything, didn't mind my husband being out there asking questions. I called Burgeson's because a couple years back because I met a rep through Costco. They showed up when they said they would. Their tech was friendly and professional and thoroughly inspected my system. What kind of shocked me was that he did not try to up sell me a bunch of stuff. He said my system was in good shape and I really did not need anything done to it. Now a few days ago, I had some spots on my ceiling upstairs and I knew it had to do with my AC unit in the attic. I "Youtubed" a few things and even made a few adjustments to what I thought was leaking but to no avail, still had a leak somewhere. So I called Burgeson's again to see if they could help. During this heatwave the nice lady who answered at first said it would be a few days before they could get out. I understand how busy they must be during a heatwave. I just asked if they had a cancellation I would really appreciate a call. She said to hold and she would see what they could do. She came back on and said they could have someone out the next day. They next day a nice tech by the name of Lance (I think) showed up in the early evening and apologized for being late. Said he had a very busy day. I already knew this because the office called me and said they were running late but they would be there. Anyway, he identified the problem and explained it to me as I followed him around the house and up in the attic. He crawled around in the hot attic and made the adjustments and repairs needed to fix my problem. The price was very fair and I was very happy with what they did for me. To the point, if you need Heating or A/C work, this is the place to call. They provide great service, fair prices, no add-on fees and efficient use of labor and skills. I called the company in the middle of a heat wave for a list of A/C updates and repairs. I am involved in the middle of an escrow. And like all escrows, when any size problem pops up, action needs to be made quickly to save escrow. Burgeson's had someone I could trust at my home in one day. I am well impressed with the quick response provided the warm weather. Alaeddin Ahmad arrived on time, with a smile on his face. Before entering, he donned booties to keep my floors clean. He was given the list of noted problems that were found from a previous inspection. He organized his thoughts and began his work to save time. We started in the basement of this home. This home has three levels, the first floor or main level, downstairs to the bedrooms and a basement. The home is on a hill. The A/C equipment and forced air unit is located in a hard to reach place in the basement, 40' below the main floor. Alaeddin carried all the necessary equipment and tools to that location down a steep hill. He installed a valve, repiped a poorly installed A/C drain line, and rewired existing equipment. I also noticed how he found that the seams in the forced air unit were gapped too wide. Without asking, he sealed the proper areas for air loss. He took pictures to help the buyer understand the completed work. We moved to the next floor up, the second level. He inspected the return air duct that was in the wall behind an access panel. He sealed the ducting and even cleaned around that same duct area to make the work look very clean for the buyer of this property. He took pictures to help the buyer understand the completed work. We then went to the next level up, our first floor. Alaeddin identified the garbled request from the inspection notification from the escrow inspection. He laddered the attic access hole and identified the requested work. He saved me money when he found that the inspector identified a non-problem. The previous inspector had identified marks on the forced air venting as a roof leak. I believe the inspector did not understand working in a snow area. It was not a leak at all. He checked that the ducting was working properly, sealed and ready for any weather. We experience four seasons here. Alaeddin identified the ducting was working as designed. He also took pictures to reassure the buyers. Alaeddin then worked on a detailed receipt to help me and the buyer understand the work completed. He made the process easy to understand. They were more interested in selling me a whole new $22,000.00 system then helping me with my immediate problem. I had cancelled a second estimate so they could get started asap. Burgeson's is outstanding. They have been maintaining my HVAC system for several years, and their technicians have always been thorough, neat, and professional. They recently installed a whole new system in my house (built in 1920), and they did an outstanding job. This fall, when the technician came to do my annual tune-up, he said my furnace was on its way out. He explained several different problems and showed me pictures. The Burgesosn's sales guy was able to come over that same day and give me some recommendations and quotes for a new system. He measured the house and asked me all sorts of questions about what I liked and disliked about the current system, how much I use it, what my utility bills were like, how much insulation I had in the walls, what kind of weather sealing I had on the windows, etc. He gave me a quote for a whole system, including replacing all the ducting to resolve some of the unevenness problems. He also very patiently answered all my questions. I've been very happy with Burgeson's so far and had every reason to trust their work, but before spending that much money on something, I thought it would be good to get a second opinion. I got a technician from Sanborn's to come and assess the existing system and give me a quote for a replacement. The technician saw the same stuff as the Burgeson's guy but didn't seem to think it was really a problem. I asked him about the oil accumulating in one area that the other guy had pointed out, and this guy nonchalantly said "Oh yeah, I saw that, but these things are always oily. I couldn't tell where it was coming from. It probably isn't important." He said nothing about the impending carbon monoxide problem, and he was similarly lackadaisical about the burn marks on the circuit board. He worked up a quote for me, but unlike the Burgeson's guy, he didn't really ask a lot of questions about my habits, likes and dislikes of the current system, utility bills, or insulation and weather sealing. I guess he just assumed I wanted a comparable system of the same capacity. I was left with very little confidence that I'd be satisfied with a new system from this company, and the price he quoted me was similar to Burgeson's. So, that was very instructive. I was so unimpressed with the guy from Sanborn's that I now have a lot of confidence in Burgeson's. Burgeson's was able to complete the installation of my new system all in one day (which was essential because the attic access is in my only bathroom). They had about 6 or 8 guys running in and out of the attic all day making a lot of dust and noise as expected, but it really went very smoothly and was less mess than it could have been. I'm very happy with the new system. It's much more comfortable than the old one, and I think the advice they gave me was sound. And I can now be assured that everything up there in the attic is safe and up to code (and actually officially permitted by the City). Props to Burgeson's for doing an outstanding job! read more

I asked him to have the system provide additional air from the vents and he reset the system using the proper sequence by reseting the air output by readjusting the thermostat settings and it worked out perfect. The receptionist worked hard to set up an appointment as soon as possible that worked with my schedule, and the technician arrived within the allotted time period. Henry Padilla, our service technician, trouble shooted the problem quickly, offered me the estimate, and proceeded to repair the unit. He encountered another small issue and worked in conjunction with his supervisor to fix that issue. Henry was very professional, cleaned up after himself and was very respectful of me and my home. Not a good value for service. I have 2 HVAC systems and requested diagnostics for both. I was told it was $109. I informed the technicians that one of my systems was not working and explained what happened recently. They informed me that it would be best to replace the system that was not working, which I agree with. I asked if they could check and run diagnostics on the system that was working still. They said it would be an additional $109. I explained to them that they had not done anything, except talk to me and look at the system. They had not used any tools or equipment at all. 8/16/19 The technician by the name of Josh came by the house. He did a superb job. Looking at our home you can tell we are not rich. I have 3 special needs children. So any monies we are able to save I am so appreciative. Josh replaced a component of the hvac that cost only $110. I was so elated as I was scared he would say that it would cost hundreds or thousands to fix my problem. We are renting this home so I wouldnt invest too much into if it came to that but thank God, that was a price I could handle.
