After few summers of getting the run around from other HVAC companies, we called Burgeson's this year. The service tech, Thomas D., was absolutely great. He confidently explained what he saw, the readings he was getting, and his analysis in a very understandable manner. We requested a Comfort Advisor to come out and give us a breakdown on what it would cost to do the repairs. Randy Y. came out and explained our options, gave us the cost breakdown, and answered all of my questions professionally and confidently. I felt like he steered us in the right direction and did NOT pressure us into making a decision one way or the other. When it came time for the HVAC removal and installation the crew that came out were extremely professional, polite, and even arrived a little earlier than expected. Nate, Noah, Carlos and David worked almost all day but we barely knew they were in our house. They put down floor protective material, wore booties over their boots, and cleaned up so well, you didn't even know someone installed a HVAC system. Excellent workmanship and very professional, clean-up was very thorough. Had 2 canned lights removed and replaced with junction boxes for a later light installation. Last week they replaced all of the above ceiling duct work. The airflow through the entire house is fantastic, like night and day. Heater/AC air flow is much quieter and much more efficient. My driveway/patio light went out. It has a sensor on it to come on automatically at night and light up both areas. I called Burgeson's and they sent out Anthony Orozco. He diagnosed the problem was in the sensor and replaced it. However, it didn't come on later on that night! So I called Burgeson's in the morning and they sent Anthony out again, this time he came with two sensors(just on case). There evidently was a factory defect in the first one. He installed the second one and tested it repeatedly. He even called me later on that evening to make sure that it did come on! That is dedication. read more

My AC was unable to keep up with the high temp/humidity of this summer. When the day was at 95+, the AC was only able to get down to 85=86 inside, and performed this way all summer. Bergeson's sent a tech out who diagnosed the problem and estimated $1000. Two days later, Bergeson's called and sent a 'surpervisor' out who gave me a new estimate of $8000 to fix the problem. The system is only 3.5 yrs old, and the installer was called and fixed it for free. While Bergeson's truck was out front, a neighbor came over and warned me about them, and told me about a very similar incident they sent out two techs at different days and jacked up the price each time; i.e. kind of like a good tech--bad tech procedure. This was about a single lady who only wanted an hvac checkup for her working system and would up paying $2k for the first tech and another $2k for the second tech. Beware. read more

We had work done on a doorbell over a year ago. Everything was fine but a neighbor reported that the button seemed hot. We called Burgeson's to check it out. Eddie and Angel checked with their supervisor to see if this would be covered under warranty. Even though it was over a year they covered it and even replaced the button. There was nothing wrong with the wiring or work but the button was old. Eddie and Angel were professional, thorough, and explained things completely. Our first experience with Burgeson's was for A/C Tune-up in June 2020, a young man named Johnathan B. came, on time, and was respectful, professional and patient with our questions and concerns He went over and beyond our expectations, we were impressed and truly grateful. He was also very knowledgeable when it came to questions we had. Because of our first encounter, we contacted Burgeson's for our Furnace Tune-up, again, the young men who came, I believe one was training, were on time, respectful, professional and went over and beyond what we expected. I apologize that I dont remember their names. Today we used them again and Ryan came to address some plumbing work we needed done and not a moment too soon. The water main gang valve was broken, (we believe by previous plumber), pressure valve, replaced a saddle valve for icemaker with a tee shutoff and new valve for the dishwasher that will be installed this week. He gave us different options and worst case scenarios. They all looked scary and nothing we wanted to attempt. Thankfully, he discovered the main water pipe was so thin and corroded, it was only a matter of time before we would have had some major problems. He was able to remove it without breaking the pipe which would have needed extensive repair. Everything was very old and corroded completed in good time for a fair price. We thank all you guys for a job well done, every time and for Burgeson's for securing great help! We are definitely satisfied repeat customers. We have had awful luck in the past but have not been disappointed with this company. 5 years ago Burgeson's installed a new heater and AC unit for us. They took care of all paper work for the rebate. Everything was explained simply and completely. We live in Running Springs, where it can be difficult to get home repair services. Our A/C was not cooling and we called Burgeson's because of their good Yelp ratings. We were not disappointed! Burgeson's technician, Thomas, arrived within the scheduled appointment time. He was courteous and always put shoe covers on when he entered our house (about 25 times!). Burgeson's charges by the job, not the hours it takes to fix problems. Good thing for us because Thomas was here for 5 hours diligently diagnosing and repairing our system. It turned out our 8-year old Nest thermostat was malfunctioning intermittently and our A/C was 20% low on Freon. We are very happy with the results and won't hesitate to use them in the future.
