I had a catastrophic failure in the sewer line (old galvanized pipe collapsed) and both bathrooms needed to be entirely re-plumbed. I had just finished re-modeling the entire house and everything was freshly painted and trimmed out. I got three quotes, including a plumber who wanted to tunnel 12 feet under my house. Burgeson was not only the best price, but I really could not have asked for a better crew, headed up by Joshua. It took four days, but I never saw harder workers. There is no way to make this a pretty job, but I was never without water or facilities. Except for Josh, the crew changed based on requirements (think ditch digging to replacing vanities) and they were ALL unfailingly polite, jumped at any request I made, and were very conscientious and careful about the house. I could not have asked for more. They do lots of kinds of plumbing and HVAC, and I would certainly use them. But if you have a big, awful job, these are the guys you want. read more

I am able to reach someone by phone every time I call, which is often when we have 7 separate buildings housing animals that need to be cooled and/or heated. Within 24 hours there is a experienced professional service person at our facility to fix our issues. This week was no exception! Since YAPS is a private non-profit, we depend on donations to run our facility. Burgeson's had donated a used HVAC unit for our Administration Building in 2012. We try our best to maintain the unit, but it stopped working this week. Burgeson's came out to service the unit and it was determined that the motor had seized. Within 48 hours they replaced a broken fan blade and motor and had us cooling again. Make sure they pull the right permits. I'm having additional work done on my house. Found out they never pulled a permit for an upgrade on my electrical panel. Upon inspection, additional repairs to bring the work up to code were needed. They scheduled a date for repair. Even though they were able to call me to tell me that someone was there to perform the repair, they didn't have the right number to call me and tell me that they were not going to be able to make it during the four hour timeframe that they had given me initially. The air conditioning unit installed does not cool the master bedroom appropriately. They came out several times to inspect and said that there was nothing they could do about it. Randy Was very thorough and helpful walking us though the contract and also had his plumber work same day with HVAC team to fix our tilting water heater to prevent flooding heater in the future. This review is for their plumbing department. I cannot speak for their other disciplines. We contracted with them to re-plumb our entire house and install all new fixtures throughout. Almost everything they did needed to be re-done at least twice. Some of the aftermath of their ineptitude included needing to tear open freshly finished and painted drywall, and also opening up the stucco on the exterior of the house so they could tie in the bathtub water line that they forgot to connect. They were incapable of following directions. I even made a drawing with dimensions for them to rough in the kitchen wall and marked the studs with where I wanted things roughed in and they still did their own thing. The amazing thing is that my piece of paper with the dimensions was still stapled to the stud! They simply paid no attention to it. They forgot to knock out the plug in the garbage disposal for the dishwasher, and forgot to tighten the lock ring so the disposal was barely hanging in place. Consequently on Christmas Day we found ourselves having to re-do that install. They installed faucets with the valves reversed in 3 locations around the house(pretty basic plumbing concept). The valves were even color coded, red for hot, blue for cold, and they still got them reversed! These guys were the most inept group of plumbers I have ever had to deal with. Also, just in case you decide to take a chance on using them make sure you get competitive bids. When we asked them for a proposal to supply and install a charcoal filter system they gave us a proposal that was easily 3x what a reasonable estimate would have been. They were generally polite and friendly just not very good at what they were doing... read more

Best of the best. Yes there are some technicians I trust more than others and you always have to use common sense when it comes to trusting anyone however. These guys have never let me down so far! We have rentals so we see our fair share of plumbing companies. I've used almost every pop up and low priced drain opening plumbing company there is on Google. Burgeson's did a typical AC inspection. Everything looked good. I was told that I should have the capacitors replaced as they were showing signs of weakening. I agreed. My only complaint is that what was going to cost $249 turned into a little over a $1,000 just to replace a couple of capacitors that took less than 10 minutes to install. Afterwards, I looked up the price of capacitors online and found that the 2 capacitors for my unit range in price from as little as $16 to just under $100. Wish I had known that beforehand. Oh well. Live and learn. Other than that, I consider Burgeson's to be a good AC service company. read more

Recently Eddie at Burgeson's resolved an on GFI issue in my home. He was respectful, knowledgeable, and diligent in repairing it. Two weeks later I arrived home after a home inspector (for the sale of my home) tested the outlet and then failed to reset the GFI switch. All of my bathroom plugs were not working. I tried to reset the switch to no avail. I found Burgeson's 5 years ago from their vans roaming around the Inland Empire. It was winter time and our downstairs furnace just would not fire up and generate heat. We contacted Burgeson's and a technician came out the very next day and after 5 minutes in the attic pinpointed the problem with some faulty installation issues from the homebuilder that eventually deteriorated. 30-minutes later we have heat. Fast forward to fall of 2021 and our downstairs AC just "died". Burgeson's came out 3 days later and provided a full diagnosis. We ended up with two 4-ton Lennox AC Condensers and Evaporator Coils. Although we only had one unit fail, we decided to replace both. There were nice incentives to go with it - so we went for it. We left the furnace alone since they were working just fine. It was a lot of work, outside work in 90 degree weather and attic work which was probably in the high 90's. Burgeson's dispatched a 4 person crew (Frank, Ed, Agung and Andrew) to get the job done in one day. In by 9:30 am out by 3:30 - with the entire work path cleaned and vacuumed. System (ac and heat) were fully tested and the Wi-Fi thermostats were programmed to our liking. A few other Burgeson's trucks came by to do a visual inspection so that was nice as well. They all wore booties and the entire path was draped. Real pro's. Courteous and very professional. They didn't mind being observed and answered all of my questions. These guys work hard and their final deliverable shows. Rick Avila - our estimator specialist also came by to make sure I was getting what I expected and if I needed anything else. He returns calls and texts...wow. A few tips for homeowners: 1) The pros will naturally encounter dust and dirt and it will get on their clothes and may accidentally rub off your walls. Easy fix use a magic eraser after they leave -- doesn't leave a trace. I counted 5 areas to erase. With many pros going up and down the stairs (with a turn) - I was surprised to not find more. No hand prints...just body grazing the walls probably for support. Equipment is heavy and awkward. 2) The pros will completely clean up the entire job site - blow duster for the outside and vacuum for the inside. Pro tip - turn on the AC and get all the dust and particles that may have been introduced in the ducts during the installation and vacuum the vent areas. You may see dust on table tops etc. Be careful with metal shards (tiny) from any duct cutting that got stuck on the inside (it just happens). Wear slippers or indoor shoes when vacuuming the area. Watch for pets since their paws may get debris. 3) They asked to use the downstairs lavatory. And they left it clean and immaculate. Thank you very much. We almost went with a really small 2-person crew from Orange County (we are in in the Inland Empire). But that person said they couldn't beat the deal, speed of installation (1-day), and ongoing customer service (which is huge for our family). They said Burgeson's is worth it and very good value.
