Gave it one star because the manager on duty settled my complaint in my opinion. Sat in the drive thru, ordered, line was moving slow but burgerville is known for tasty food as far as fast food goes, so I didn't care. Get to the window, the girl tells me my total and I hand her my card. I sit and play on my phone for about 3 minutes before she hands me my card back and says thank you, but doesn't offer a receipt. I drive to the next window and the gentleman asks if I'd paid, I say yep, back there-pointing to the last window. He says okay and closes the window for a moment and returns quickly to say he needs to charge my card, it didn't go thru. I say, no you can't have my card again, that chick had my card for 3 minutes and didn't give me a receipt. I say sorry, that's not right. So i pull over and check my bank account. Sure enough it's pending. So I park and go inside and flag the gentleman down and show him my bank app statement and ask for a refund. He says oh I'm sorry about that, I'll get my manager. She comes right over, give me the refund quickly after I recap her. Then assures me she will be speaking to her team. Watch out for the redhead at the cash register, shes sketch. read more

This was such a disappointment. I've been going to burgerville for as long as I can remember... and I dont usually review fast food places, but this needs to be addressed. My fries were cold and saltless, I asked for extra spread on the burgers, but I got regular amounts of spread and no ketchup or anything else. These are more bread now than beef. It wasn't always that way. I waited for a really long time at the window. It seemed very hectic and chaotic inside, like the crew was in over their heads and couldn't handle the rush... but there wasn't a rush... me and one car in front and behind me in the drive through and only a couple customers inside the lobby. This should not have had them scrambling and forgetting things. I guess next time I want Burgerville, I'll have to drive out of my way to 162nd. They've never gotten it wrong once. read more

Tried this place for the first time while on business trip bc I was craving a shake. And they did not disappoint on the strawberry shake but the burger was very small and thin and I ordered the Colossal burger but it was very small with way to much lettuce. read more

Half pound cheeseburger is decent. Not wow. 3 pieces of chicken strips look like sorry smaller. $5.45 for large onion rings is a joke. In California and Seattle, , u can get large pile size of onion rings for same price. In my opinion, their service is fast and excellent but prices of food seem fairly expensive. .their bathroom is shiny clean but towl paper machine is not work. read more

It's... fast food. Nothing super special or exciting. The food is average. The service is average. The price is a little high, but I think that about every fast food restaurant. Eat here in a pinch? The Burgerville in West Linn makes their halibut fish and chips to order--oh yummy!! Gresham Burgerville's fish and chips tastes like it had been cooked hours ago and laid under a heat lamp for hours. It is dry and almost fish jerky. I moved to Gresham 5 months ago and miss the heck out of halibut fish and chips. Shame on you Gresham Burgerville. You've ruined a really good meal. read more

Just returned to eating at Burgerville since the Pandemic arrived. Was sooo looking forward to ordering my favorites. The menu has changed completely. The "secret sauce" was gone. The only thing I come to Burgerville for are a couple of their seasonal specials, strawberry shortcakes made with local strawberries and Walla Walla Sweet onion rings. I think their burgers are very ordinary. . .but, on the other hand, their seasonal onion rings are fantastic. Unfortunately, they are available for only a limited time every year, so my visits to Burgerville are concentrated around that narrow timeframe. Today, I stopped in at the Burgerville location on Hogan Dr near Stark Street in Gresham to satisfy my onion ring craving. I ordered at the counter and waited at a table for my food. After awhile, it dawned on me that I had waited for quite a long time until my food finally came. . .it took over ten minutes. . . and it wasn't that busy. Well, I rationalized maybe my onion rings just get some extra attention. However, another guy at a table who had been waiting even longer than me finally got his "ordinary" order of burger, fries and a milkshake. I guess the kitchen at this location is just slow, because other Burgervilles are faster, even when it's much busier. With that said, I still have to say that, as always, my Walla Walla Sweet onion rings were fantastic. They were flavorful and thick-cut (not thin and wimpy) and the breading on them had the perfect crunchiness. read more

There is a chance that the awesomely cute Catt was working too.. yay bonus :) Some Burgerville's have great food but not the most amazing service whereas this one, for me is always great. This has to be the WORST Burgerville in Oregon and Washington. I took a bit of my fries while leaving the drive thru and they were so cold and you can tell they were the bottom of the fried (I worked in restaurants before, I would know) . So they had me pull in the front to get new fries.. great job! Now, I went home and they forgot 3/4 burgers and EVERYTHING was cold and old. I called and spoke to a lady that was very nice and said I can come back and they will replace my whole order. I called and let them know I was there ...10 minutes later I call again because I'm still waiting and he said He already gave me my food and accused me of lying !! Why would I lie and still be sitting in your parking lot waiting for my food!? The manager then HUNG UP ON ME. I called back and GOT HUNG UP ON AGAIN. When I went to the window him and mother blonde worker CLOSED THE DOOR ON MY FACE TWICE IN THE MIDDKE OF TALKING. And all the manager said was "I have ur food now, isn't that what you want? " When I told him I got hung up on he told me I was lying and "he didn't mean to". You "didnt mean" to hang up on me ?? Did you just accidentally set the phone done and did the phone press the end button by itself ??? The manager repeatedly told me at the window that I was lying and I have my food and that's all that matters. I really don't understand the ratings here. This was my first experience with a Burgerville location and the food and service here was great. The fries and dipping sauces were amazing and my burger was well cooked. The food took a little while to come out, but it wasn't from lack of trying. The lobby and drive thru were both busy and the wait seemed completely acceptable to me. I'm not going to say Burgerville is perfect. When we came in, there was one booth that was left pretty dirty that had not been cleaned (the lobby and drive thru weren't busy yet). While we were waiting for our to go order we witnessed wrong food being delivered to those dining, which just made those whose food they got have to wait longer. Where are the managers? When I was a teenager and worded fast food if we were that busy and behind our managers rolled up their sleeves and helped make burgers. Wouldn't dine here again. read more

I thought I would give burgerville another chance since it use to be one of my favorite places to eat. I waited 10 min in line so I turned off my car to patiently wait. I ordered 2 pepper bacon small baskets. I didnt realize for one you couldn't upgrade a meals drink to a shake ok no big deal.. but was a little disappointed my small basket as she explained is actually a kids meal with a kids drink. I didnt order a kids meal I thought I ordered a small burger basket. As I reached into my bag to grab a fry I was at least happy they were warm. But as I expected both burgers were cold cheese was not even melted and burger taste awful. So I'm gonna assume for $18.88 I paid for a kids small fry to be hot. Awful! Last 3 times I've eaten there food was cold. Is it worth paying more for less??!! read more

Burgerville used to have excellent food. Seems like they've been going downhill for a while now. My $7 ala carte Burger was dry and on a smashed bun. $3.75 for sweet potato fries is a ridiculous price. Ate here once a month, always had a seasonal shake and burger combo. I always get two regular hamburgers and a fry. I know, from experience, that paying a lot of money for the fancier burgers isn't worth it to me. The burgers are not any bigger really, it's the fact they're just special sounding. For me, two regular hamburgers is the price of one burger that's the same size as one hamburger. So go ahead, order special burgers, but I assure you it's not the best deal. If zero stars was an option I would give it. I went to Burgerville for the first time ever and went through the drive-thru. I proceeded ordered a kids meal cheeseburger which came with a small fry, drink (ordered sprite at the speaker), and toy (not that I care about that at my age) and a pumpkin shake. I am a small eater and didn't want anything more nor did I even finish all the food. When I got to the window they told me it was $9.xx I was slightly in shock considering I thought the shake was going to be around $3. The shake was way over priced and was not worth the price! The lady at the window handed me my receipt which showed I was charged for a drink. When I asked the young lady why I was charged for a drink and didn't receive the drink she told me in a very put out manner "You got a shake instead." I then replied back "Would you please explain why you asked what drink I would like with the meal, charged me for a meal and I did not receive a drink? I did not say to exchange the shake for the drink." To which she replied "You weren't charged for it and you don't get one! So is it really even that big of a deal?" My food was then bagged and she turned around grabbed the back and handed it to me and said very sarcastically "Have a good night" closed the window and walked away. I looked into the bag and all the items were there. I made a very short three minutes drive home. My cheeseburger was cold even a kid might complain and the temperature. The fries were so salty, cold, and soggy and tasted like they had sat out for quite some time. I understand that I ordered a kids meal which might incline for the food to be on the lower temperature scale. However, there are temperature laws set by the state and I am willing to say these items did not meet that requirement. When I pay $9.xx it better be good and THIS BURGERVILLE EXPERIENCE WAS FAR FROM! I would recommend Burgerville to someone who is specifically looking for and overpriced, cold meal, with poor service. You can eat at a MvDonalds get better food, better service, accurate order, for half the price of what I paid for the same food! read more

I normally like the food at Burgerville. What this particular place serves was dry/luke warm patties with excessive amounts of mayonnaise. For the prices they have families paying for quality fast food I am very disappointed. Some quality control is needed for this restaurant. read more

It was the lunch rush on a Wednesday when I pulled up to the drive through and thought it's too long a wait I will just go in to eat. Inside was busy but not to bad, the thing I noticed most was the team work and the flow of how orders were being taken and given out. Everyone had a smile and offered great customer service.
