    Tiny fish wafers, overcooked
    Cw M.

First time at a Burgerville, and the burgers looked interesting, but I was in the mood for fish, and I'm used to really good fish from Culver's in a land-locked state, so how bad could it be? I ordered the 3-piece halibut, $14-something, which comes with coleslaw, fries, 2 tartar sauces, and no drink. I opted for the extra tartar sauce, so a little over $15. In the bag, I got fries, a lemon wedge, 2 tartar sauces, 3 tiny little fish wafers that were supposed to be the 3-piece, and that's it. I had to ask for the 3rd tartar sauce I had been charged for. I also noticed no coleslaw. I asked about it, and they said they were out. The excuse was the manager just didn't prep enough of them that morning. I asked for a salad instead, and they said the salads were too big to substitute, would I like to buy a salad? So they have all the burger fixins, but could not improvise a small salad for the coleslaw? And they weren't going to tell me that they just left the coleslaw out, or the tartar they upcharged me for, so I would have driven off, having paid $15 for a medium fry and 1 filet's worth of fish, which is basically what happened. I've added a pic I found online. Imagine a couple ounces of thin, breaded discount fish, cooked about twice as long as a McDonald's filet o fish. If you can't see them, they are hiding behind the fries. I tried to use the Burgerville site to report the shoddy drive thru service, but their form requires a picture captcha, and whoever did the website frames shit the bed, and you have to vertically scroll-center the page, and the form, and then the frame to see the full captcha. A full minute of futzing around with the tiniest images of bikes, busses, and street lights, and I went here instead.

I love coming to this location of Burgerville in Gresham! The service is always so great. The employees are so helpful and never rude. Where do they come from? I wish all restaurants had employees there were this kind and conscientious. I redeemed some of my points and got free fries for my husband. My strawberry shake is out of this world. I've noticed lately that Burgerville is run like a well oiled machine and I really appreciate that!

Placed a pick up order and they were friendly as always. Snapped a few quick photos before I left and a couple in the car... because fresh is best! I'm obsessed with their onion rings that are large and sweet (as to be expected). I love that they have so many plant based options because sometimes I'm in the mood for something a little different.

I had just landed at the airport in Portland and needed a quick lunch. We swung into Burgerville, the inside was closed, but the drive through was open. The team was quick to take our order and we were eating the delicious meal moments later. The colossal burger was super filling. I'm glad I got the onion rings, they were superior to the fries by a long shot! Burgerville definitely lived up to the hype! I can't wait to get back!

This was our second time here and it was better than the first time. The Yelpers here are pretty harsh but we gave them another chance. It was about an hour to closing time so I'm sure the crew was tired - hence the sloppy burger. But it was tasty enough and the drive-through gal was friendly and patient. Last time we were here the drive-through person was one of those "like, whatever" kind of guys. We missed the Truffle Fries but I'm sure they were just their usual fries spritzed with truffle oil. Speaking of which, the fries were pretty good. Just the right amount of salty greasiness you'd expect from a drive-through joint and *not cold* which was great. The friendly drive-through gal forgot to put ketchup in the bag even though we asked for it, she said "will do!" and it was listed on the order receipt. No big deal. It happens all the time at every burger joint that ever existed.

I got the Pendleton burger, it was as good as I remember, I got tons of fries along with it which was great. It was around 16 dollars, but it's a 2 dollar up charge for fries......yes, they charge you extra for fries....at a burger place...they default to potato chips (cheaper for them). I don't care what your "reasoning" is, charging extra for fries at a burger place is pathetic. In terms of service, can't comment too much since I got takeout, but the women there seemed nice and the place was fairly clean, I couldn't make out any dirty areas. They have a few tables outside, on a nice summer day it would be a nice place for lunch. Parking. There's no real parking for this areas since it's in busy street, so you'll have to park a block or two away most of the time, but it's not a big deal. Overall it's a good place and if I happen to find myself in the area, wanting a burger, I don't see why I wouldn't go there again.

So I search yelp, and I've seen these guys on my DoorDash ordering page. I got off work early one day and a friend mentioned that there is Hawaii food at "THE FORK" so I went over, I didn't care for the Hawaiian food truck (sorry no offense) because... well I smelled burgers. I smelt juicy beef coming from a vent. I turned around and what do you know? It's a burger cart!!! The worker in the food cart looked young, and I remembered when I was 14 I was flipping burgers myself. I checked out the menu, I found my favorite burger on it. MUSHROOMS AND SWISS CHEESE! And who doesn't love a good ole smash burger? I even ordered fries. I splurged a little. It all came out to about $18? The worker was friendly, food was timely. I walked my dog and myself around the vicinity and got a boba and my buzzer went off and I went straight home to eat the burger. It was so juicy, and yes greasy too. What do you expect? It's a BURGER! A greasy ole burger. My favorite food item. The fries were yummy and I honestly sat there with my double patties mushroom Swiss burger with the veggies and I just felt so darn happy. It made me miss being back in Hawaii for a minute because honestly I ate a burger every chance I got back home. But I can't wait to treat myself again. Such a good pick and only 5 minutes from my house. Who would have thought a food cart stop would be an amazing place for a yummy burger?!

They put so much care into everything. Listen- always get the salad here. They're always delicious and contain surprises. This time we got marinated rhubarb, which is in season, and which I'm excited to make and put in my own spring salads at home. Also, edible flowers, and while we ate lunch, we saw a worker picking them from the little garden. The sandwich was a shrimp roll, which was great, maybe with homemade bread? It was perfect. The sandwich was zesty, with a remoulade and little pickled jalapeños. And what were those crunchy things on top? Crushed barbecue potato chips! A delightful detail most restaurants wouldn't bother with. And the soft serve sundaes, which are also full of artistry and interesting textures! You have to get one.
