Did answers the phone and gives false information about order placed through the app. Called back to ask about it and he hangs up on me. Called back again, he says he's the "manager". Just had the Alaskan Halibut fish and chips. These were a little on the spendy side but very worth it. Flavor was perfect, crunchy, not overly large but enough. Hands down one of the best fast food version of fish and chips there is. I would order that again. read more

If there were condiments on the bun, they were applied as if the chain may go under at any moment, and the "fresh" burger patty was devoid of color, juice, grease, basically any moisture. Tried to order over the phone but it wouldn't let the order be submitted. Drove there and sat in drive thru line for 10 minutes without moving. They closed down the drive thru 4 cars in front of me. The sign said the dining room is open until 7:00 pm but it was closed and locked at 3:00 pm. We all had to turn around and leave to search for another place to get lunch. I liked the hot waffle fries and sauces that came with them- I tried the garlic aioli and chipotle Mayo. I also liked the chocolate milkshake. Don't expect this place to genuinely care about your feedback. They may ask for it on your receipt, but I promise you, they couldn't care less. First of all, the link to leave feedback on the receipt doesn't even work--at least it wasn't when I tried using it. Instead, I took an alternative route by Googling Burgerville and Feedback (which took me to a different URL than the one they have listed on their receipt). They never got back to me. At the end of the day, I was disappointed b/c I ordered the regular sized waffle fries, and I kid you not, I literally received a half full bag with eight fries. EIGHT! And what did they cost me? Nearly $4! The bag they came in was noticeably empty. It was insulting, to say the least. I wish I could say that was the worst of it, but I also made the mistake of ordering a burger--the Tillamook cheeseburger, to be exact. Simple. It's not that hard to mess up. But they did. The cheese wasn't even melted, but that wasn't what bothered me the most. My patty was missing pieces of ground beef, so rather than biting into a cheeseBURGER, I was more so biting in to a grilled cheese. I was so tempted to leave one star, but I do have to point out that the fries tasted okay and the lady at the drive-through was very nice. So for those reasons alone, they get an extra star. I've been eating vegetarian, vegan, and other healthy food to support Ron while we get more education about eating better. I'll stand up and confess to the rest of the group that "hi, my name is Kerri L. and I fell off the wagon today." The manager of the property where I'm working today offered to buy us lunch to eat here in the office and took off for Burgerville while I held the fort down. Since I was in the fast lane headed toward diet oblivion, I ordered the Tillamook Cheese Burger and one of the fresh strawberry shakes (with a couple of dollops of whipped cream on top). It's a miracle that I didn't order french fries; my addiction to fries is an unfortunate reality of being me. The manager here had the same thing I did with a side order of fried asparagus with aioli dip. Having not had a burger in at least a month, the first bite of the Tillamook Burger was just heavenly. I savored every bite. The strawberry shake nearly brought tears of happiness to my eyes. The manager enjoyed her lunch, but I doubt she enjoyed it as much as I did. The cheeseburger of course had the Tillamook cheese on it, but the patty size and quality were outstanding. The taste due to the quality of the meat was undeniable. The freshness of the strawberries in the shake was also undeniable. I don't know if I have to share this with Ron or not. Hmmmmm...tapping fingers. We pulled up to the drive-through window and ordered a bunch of food for us and our four kids. As we pulled up to pay we were not able to find our wallet. We mentally retraced our steps and realized that we probably left it at Costco. We explained that we'll have to come back for the food later after we pick up our wallet. Burgerville has a flavor all its own. I love the basic cheeseburgers there. The fries are always crisp when I get them and have a decent potato flavor. What more do you need from a french fry? The cool thing about them these days is the rewards card. In your birthday month, they load $5 on it. I don't go here often and was surprised at how quick I had over $10 in rewards on my card. Something that was super good was the asparagus grilled cheese they had, however when I saw the calorie fat count, it wasn't so good anymore. Oh, well... it was still pretty good. AMAZING!!! My husband told me about this place and I had never been. We went yesterday and it was 100% AMAZING. We both got Tillamook cheeseburgers and 10 onion rings. Don't get that many onion rings unless you're starving to death. We could only eat half because those onion rings are HUGE (and we can eat a lot). I wish I could have ate them all cause they are so good. They are fresh and from the best onions. If we had a Bugerville here in Central Washington, I would be obese. So yeah... I highly recommend this place and the guy that served us was a total sweetheart. It isn't even a place that has a option to tip and this guy was just genuine. You can tell he loves working there. Absolutely my favorite place to chow down while coming back to Portland from Mount Hood. I love Burgerville's commitment to local and sustainable products and their fast food is better than just about any national chain. The Gresham location is a little tough to access from the busy corner of Hogan/242nd and Stark, but it is worth the stop. What the heck else are you going to get in Gresham?! The Burgerville menu is loaded with great fast food burgers and they offer seasonal sides and shakes, including waffle fries, sweet potato fries and milkshakes made with locally-picked berries. I've found the drive-thru to be slow, but the service inside is fast enough to provide a bathroom break before grabbing my to-go order and heading back to town. read more

This place would get a 4 star review on a "McDonalds as a 5 star restaurant" scale, however my standard is higher, and incidentally so are their prices. In a blindfold test I'd be hard pressed to discern a difference between these guys and the big M. Looking at the receipt, however, quickly reminded me when I realized that I had paid almost twice for the same product. The only comforting fact is that they purport to use local products and recycled disposables, which almost makes up for the higher price. Almost. Gave it one star because the manager on duty settled my complaint in my opinion. Sat in the drive thru, ordered, line was moving slow but burgerville is known for tasty food as far as fast food goes, so I didn't care. Get to the window, the girl tells me my total and I hand her my card. I sit and play on my phone for about 3 minutes before she hands me my card back and says thank you, but doesn't offer a receipt. I drive to the next window and the gentleman asks if I'd paid, I say yep, back there-pointing to the last window. He says okay and closes the window for a moment and returns quickly to say he needs to charge my card, it didn't go thru. I say, no you can't have my card again, that chick had my card for 3 minutes and didn't give me a receipt. I say sorry, that's not right. So i pull over and check my bank account. Sure enough it's pending. So I park and go inside and flag the gentleman down and show him my bank app statement and ask for a refund. He says oh I'm sorry about that, I'll get my manager. This Burgerville has very friendly employees and surprisingly fast service in the dining room. I love that they have vegetarian options. The burgers and fries are okay and definitely don't give me that after-fast-food icky feeling. I like that each table has a napkin dispenser, salt & pepper, and ketchup on it to give you that diner feeling. I will admit that everything on the menu is way overpriced, but it's local and sustainable so I come to Burgerville when it fits into my budget every once in a while. read more

This was such a disappointment. I've been going to burgerville for as long as I can remember... and I dont usually review fast food places, but this needs to be addressed. My fries were cold and saltless, I asked for extra spread on the burgers, but I got regular amounts of spread and no ketchup or anything else. These are more bread now than beef. It wasn't always that way. I waited for a really long time at the window. It seemed very hectic and chaotic inside, like the crew was in over their heads and couldn't handle the rush... but there wasn't a rush... me and one car in front and behind me in the drive through and only a couple customers inside the lobby. This should not have had them scrambling and forgetting things. I guess next time I want Burgerville, I'll have to drive out of my way to 162nd. They've never gotten it wrong once. read more
