Burgermaster is a bit pricier than the average, I agree with some of those comments. But the burgers, fries, and even the fish sandwiches are big, juicy, and delicious. We liked the retro-vibe of ordering from your car. Remember to turn on your headlights when you're ready to order (and then turn them off again). We didn't try the shakes, but they have a good flavor variety. The car hop servers are very friendly and really quick (even when they're busy). Some minor pro-tips if you're eating in your car: * I'd recommend getting the food without the tray. The tray sitting on your driver's side window doesn't really help much and it's a bit awkward to grab things from. Just get your food in a bag, it's easier, unless your car is really (really) small. * Not a bad idea to bring extra napkins or wet wipes (those burgers are juicy). * If you eat in your car in the later afternoon/early evening, pull around to the far-side to park, so the sun sets behind you, not blazing into your face. read more

First of all, I don't love eating in my car. I prefer a table where I can spread out and not have to worry so much about spilling, so I wouldn't do it if the food wasn't totally worth it. This drive-in's burgers are worth it! Absolutely delicious, their patties are made of all natural grass-fed beef. They have a ton of shake flavor choices and you can mix the flavors if you like or add in things like oreo, reece's, etc. They also have a salmon burger and a few other non-beef items on the menu. They are well staffed and service is timely and friendly. You simply turn on your headlights if you need something. Easy as that! I had to take one star off because my son ordered a peanut butter and vanilla shake and received a peanut butter and banana shake. Has been one of my stops for a long time starting at the original near 520. Today just reinforces that its more about the money then actual service. But u used to be able to get coffee refills. Heard this place was a Washington staple. It's just like the sonic drive-in but there are no buttons or screens. You're supposed to turn your lights on to get service? Maybe it's just me but that is very strange. I don't wanna kill my battery or anything. They seem to already be on top of things though because they just came to us without us doing anything. Our server was extremely nice! Helped us out a lot and was really thorough. The prices were a little expensive, especially for fast food quality options. If you have any food sensitivities, stay away. Staff is not trained, don't know the answers to ingredient questions, and will serve you food with ingredients you specifically said you can't have without telling you. Thoroughly disappointing experience. I've been eating at BM since 1978. They've always been on the higher end of price but could justify it for flavor and quality. This is no longer the case. They have changed their ingredients and now flavor means salt. Fries are soggy and flavorless upon arrival. The onion ring I ate was breaded onion skin, not onion. Their mini combos get us through the workday at a budget; the delicious thin fries and ability to customize our orders help us treat ourselves, making every meal a unique experience. I order my burger without buns, and the staff sends me a platter of food with individual tubs of condiments so I can portion control. The bacon is always crisp, the veggies fresh and the lettuce crunchy, elevating the fast food experience a bit above average. Online orders have been on point with no errors or missed items, unlike our experience with other chains. This particular facility has drive in stalls and service. I love Burgermaster on Bothell Everett Highway. There food is fantastic! Order the fish sandwich - it is life changing! I get the Tarter Sauce on the side because they overdo it on the Tarter Sauce, if you say "light" Tarter Sauce there is barely any - so I recommend getting it on the side. Their Burgermaster combo is always a winner. I love their Iced Tea, nice and strong and free refills on Iced Tea. Their fries are also very good, usually served nice & hot, however they are a bit too salty. The portions here are generous. I did prefer the Pre-COVID days when we got the tray brought out and our garbage collected at the end of the meal, and we could pay at the end as well. I did not care for the change in the grilled cheese. They use sour dough bread now. It wasn't that squishy, soft, grilled cheese sandwich that they used to have. My husband said his burger was ok. Hopefully, this was just a bad experience and not a change they've made. We will try another time, but if it's the same, we will be saying "goodbye" to Burgermaster. Not a drive thru, but rather a real drive in. It's a bit different than a standard burger joint. You stay in your car and they come to serve you, like in those '50's movies (American Graffiti). Ok, if you really don't want to eat in your car, you can go to the counter to order, and there are picnic tables to eat outside. I've been here a couple of times. It's a little more expensive than a traditional fast food place, but not as expensive as a sit-down restaurant. My son really liked the burger, said it was very filling. I've had the dungeness crab melt on one occasion and a BLT on another. I like how they crisp up the sourdough bread ... it's very tasty and fresh. The fries however are not cooked to order, it seems as if they are cooked in batch and served on order. Since it was cold and windy outside on my latest visit, that really made them unappealing. I waited for 8+ minutes before someone came to take my order. The carhop disingenuously apologized for the delay. I usually order to-go, but decided to eat in this time hoping that my food would be nice & hot! Pretty simple order. A grilled chicken sandwich with extra mayo & tomatoes, small fry, small Mr. Pibb for $15.00. My food arrived in a decent amount of time but, my sandwich was literally drenched in mayo & lukewarm at best. My extra tomatoes were piled in the middle of my sandwich four slices high on a bed of brown lettuce. I can only assume that this location has its own unique "seasoning" for the chicken breast because it tastes nothing like the GCS at other Burgermasters. Honestly, the chicken was beyond terrible - overwhelming pepper is the only thing I could taste in every bite, even with the excess mayo. I'd also venture to say it wasn't actually grilled, more like microwaved. This was by far the most awful meal I've had in a while. We made a special trip at around 6:30 pm this evening. Pulled into a handicap spot right up front. Followed the direction " turn on your lights when you are ready to order." We sat, for over 10 minutes, gave it a few more and decided to leave after noticing cars on either side of us had pulled in after us, yet acknowledged and placed orders.
