I went to Burgermaster in Bothell for the first time the other night. It truly was an amazing experience. I loved the fact that I could order my food in the comfort of my car. I was able to see the entire menu while sitting in the passenger seat. It's convenient having the servers know when to come take your order. You alert them by simply turning on your headlights. I ordered the #3 Combo and it was very filling. I would recommend ordering this meal if you have a big appetite. You really get a bang for you buck with this one. For the drink I had a coffee flavored milkshake that complemented the meal. The shake had a hint of coffee flavor that wasn't overwhelming. The fry's were okay, I personally prefer having my fry's crinkled. This wasn't the case at Burgermaster, but they still were satisfactory. Prices have gone up lately just like everywhere, but $16.50 for a combo has me rethinking the value. Today I decided to go for lunch, and like many other folks have recently stated I waited, and waited, and waited to order. With lights on. Server passed me at least 6 times, ignored me, ignored me, ignored me. Not sure what the deal is, are they trained to stagger orders and just let customers sit? Are they purposefully ignoring customers with their lights on? I get that you get busy, but give me a signal, a 1 minute pointer finger gesture,, something! That tells me you will eventually take care of me. Well, I gave up and unfortunately no Burgermaster today. But drove a mile to another burger joint, where I could sit inside out of the heat and took advantage of a complete burger combo special with drink, burger, fries, and App for $10....And was treated like a Rock Star. I literally lived across the street from the north Seattle location for 3 years and never once did I know about their beef motto. I definitely have to make up for lost time. We ordered a bunch of stuff togo and ate it at home. The original burger master burger was delicious. Nothing fussy or dramatic. Just a plain ole cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickle, cheese, and their special sauce. Had we eaten there when it was freshly prepared and hot, it would have probably been better. However, we were all pretty satisfied with our burgers. Fries - skinny fries, crisp, and DELISH. Onion rings - flavorful, deliciously and crunchy coating. They are on the pricier side, but hey, you're paying for GRASSFED HORMONE/ANTIBIOTIC FREE BEEF. Loosen up them wallet strings and spring for the good beef. Their menu is pretty large from the pictures I've seen from the drive up menu. The menu online isn't the same though. Do not door dash here, came to pick up an order that was ordered over an hour prior the customer told me, they restaurant told me to it was cancelled, I contacted door dash and they told me it was not and to have them make the order, the staff told me they were not going to make it even after I showed them what door dash said, they then told me to have door dash call them, so I went through that and then they finally said ok and made the order, took forever, why they couldn't do it when I showed them and made me call door dash to have them call them I do not understand. Tonight, after playing at the park for a while and working up an appetite, my family decided to try Burgermaster for the first time. We were excited because we've been hearing a lot about the grass-fed beef, as well as some of their delicious sides. We've driven past the restaurant many times on our daily commute, as it sits in a fantastic location right on the border of Bothell and Mill Creek on BEH. Let's just say, it's tractor beam has been working against us slowly for sometime now! As we initially parked her car, a very friendly associate of the restaurant came and gave us great service right away. She asked us if we were ready to order-we weren't because, as I told her, we were newbies -we were trying to decide what to eat from this delicious menu. There were more choices then I would've expected beforehand, so I was pleasantly surprised. All five of us got our own personalized burger, and we ordered three different types of sides-fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. We only live about five minutes from the restaurant, but the drive home was difficult as the car quickly filled with the smell of delicious food. Upon arriving home, we all tore into our hamburgers and had them finished within minutes. There is a major, major difference between grass-fed beef and the processed gunk that's typically served at more basic fast food restaurants. Every single one of us liked her chops after that burger, wishing we had more. As far as the sides go, I think everyone's favorite was the sweet potato fries by far. We had read a lot about the onion rings being amazing, but really we found them to be pretty average. The fries are pretty average too, though the various dipping sauces like the tartar sauce and the "Boom Boom Sauce" make a big difference in the flavor. It also helps a ton that they do a great job of keeping keeping the fryers clean. This was clear and evident because all of the fried product looked fantastic! We can't wait to get back again soon so we can try different sandwiches and also dip into their dessert menu. The only thing that stopped us from grabbing desserts today was the cost of the meal-it is more expensive to eat here by a couple dollars per person than it is at a basic fast food restaurant. But again I cannot stress enough-you pay for what you get, and you get what you pay for. Grass fed beef is the way to go for burgers-I am sold! Recommended. read more

This is a real 50s Drive-in, with car service, burgers and fries, fish and chips, and chocolate malted shakes. They also have salads, including a caesar salad, and a kids' menu. Their iced tea is delicious, as are their burgers. The turkeymaster, though, is just a deli sandwich, not a turkey burger, and they don't have a veggie burger option. They do have a gluten free bun option, but their fries are cross-contaminated due to their frying them in the same fryer as the fish and chips and chicken strips. They also have a pulled pork sandwhich if you like barbecue, and a barbecue chicken salad as well. Pretty good and a fun throw-back. read more

I grew up in Seattle, and part of that was going to Burgermaster in the U District when it was still a drive in. And yes I remember waitresses in roller skates! When they started expanding, one wonders if the food will be the same or as good as it was in their initial locations. When I went to the store they had in North Lynnwood (which was a regular restaurant, it did not have the same ambiance as the drive ins! Yesterday was a 90 degree day, so we decided to take the Corvette for a spin and go to the Burgermaster in North Bothell on the Bothell Everett Highway. It was great, the drive in, the food and service. The only reason that I only gave it 4 stars was because it was a bit pricey for what we got, 1 mini meal and a kids bacon cheeseburger was 15 bucks plus tip. Overall a great experience, however, I wish their prices were a bit lower, but where else can you go for this type of service and get fresh, hot food cooked to order that tastes great! This car hop burger joint has yummy shakes, tasty burgers, crisp and fresh fish and great apple pie! Burgermaster is in the old fashioned drive up style for cars to park and order off the menu board nearest their parking spot after they turn on their headlights to indicate to the car hop they're ready to order. The car hop will almost always pop out and check on you before you've turned your headlights on anyway if it's daytime as they don't want any customers waiting around for service. They have burgers, sandwiches like a ham and cheese and crab and cheese, fish and chips, salads, and your choice of fries or onion rings. They also have apple pie which you can have hot or cold, a la mode or not, or with caramel or cinnamon sauce. Other desserts are available too. The burgers are greasy, messy, delicious things. I've had the burgermaster, which is a double with cheese. Also the regular cheeseburger and the mushroom swiss. They don't skimp on the fish portions. You get a good portion of fish and they are good quality. They have a nice selection of shake flavors to choose from, and they range from root beer to peanut butter to pumpkin along with the standards such as chocolate. My only complaint is that the fries are the frozen shoestring kind. Usually I am hardly halfway through the fries before they are rock hard and cold. Car hops are always fast, friendly, informative, and happy to answer questions. They know the menu and they have been well trained. You can eat in the car or take it to go! There isn't an indoors dining area. The parking lot is clean with no trash anywhere and they have flowers planted in the warm months. I love this little place and will be back again soon. Went there today around 3 pm and waited for over 10 mins and no one came to my car. Two different workers kept walking past me, one girl was outside and looked straight at my car. Then she went inside and stated filling looked like tater sauce in cups. One guy was next to my car, having people sign their credit card slip and then walked right past me and went to another car. Then the same girl that went inside, came back out and then walked past me again and went to another car. I went to Burgermaster in Bothell as I have been to the one in Kirkland as it's always been good. I don't normally rate a burger joint high but I give Burgermaster in Bothell two thumbs up. It was a little bit of a rocky start because someone made a mistake on my order. However the more mature gentleman working the place fixed the lady's mistake and he made it happen fast and without question. I had a new burger quickly. The meal was excellent. Great fries and my new burger was perfectly cooked with the exact toppings I ordered. People always make mistakes in all businesses as no one is perfect and I certainly would never want a robot serving me food. The recovery and tact that you do with great customer service is how you keep customers. They did their part. My experience from Burgermaster in Bothell ended on a happy and full belly. Wow I always remembered BM being decent - at least the Bellevue location. But this was terrible. Ordered a #1 combo. After fifteen minutes I enjoyed one of the most bland, flavorless burgers in my life. All the fries were broken, which is fun to try and dig out of a container. And the tarter? Let's just say Mayo usually has more flavor. Congratulations Burgermaster: the trifecta of failure! Never again. I love going to Burgermaster on a warm evening as the sun is setting. The burgers are bit pricey since I have to eat in my car; however, it is worth it. I figure, it was a one time bad experience and next time it will probably be much better. With that said, let me say we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Burgermaster. During this coronavirus thing, dining in restaurants are not available right now so this was a good choice. As it turned out it was a VERY good choice. The place was darn near full (the parking area that is. That's where you order your food and receive your food. You can eat in car or drive out with it). The server was right there, took our order. We went with the regular burgermaster combo. Cheese, burger patty, pickles, lettuce, tomato, mayo (?) . fries and a drink. With as crowded as the area was, we thought there would be a long wait. Wrong. After a very reasonable wait our food arrived. Everything was hot and seemed very fresh. This not Mickey D or BurgerKing food. This is what a burger joint should be. Really, really good. We ate in the car, heck it was 1970 all over again (yea, we're that old). So glad we found Burgermaster. We didn't find it by reading reviews. We found it from driving around. We are from Oregon visiting our kids here and we just happened by this place. Guess what? We WILL be back. Nice job. The menu has some interesting things on it. We will experiment next time. I haven't had Burgermaster in years... On the reader board I saw advertised BBQ chicken and Rice bowl for $5.99. It sounded good so me and my husband decided to give it a shot. I ordered what lured me in, and my husband got BBQ chicken wrap. We ordered it to go. When we got home I opened my container, to find what looked to be Spanish rice and about 5 small chunks of chicken. I tried it and sure enough, Spanish rice. EWW, who in their right mind thinks that BBQ chicken goes with Spanish rice? And to top it off, it was suppose to come with cheese, ranch dressing and lettuce. I got it plain. In our search to look for decent burgers near by, my bf and I finally stopped by Burgermaster, and I was actually pleasantly surprised by it. The burger itself was actually pretty good. The beef is grass-fed and hormone free, and honestly, you can taste the quality difference in the patty. We got both onion rings and fries, and while the onion rings were nice and crunchy, the fries were just bland...even ketchup couldn't lift the spirit of those fries. Service was quick and friendly! The second you turned your headlights on, someone would immediately come to assist. The only downside is the price; for 2 meals (2 burgers, fries, onion rings, soda and shake), it cost us right above 30 bucks before tip. For that cost, I could go to a nice sit down burger joint, get a fancy burger meal, and full service. Overall, decent burger place. However that does not negate the fact that the food is... Lacking! No point in taking pictures, the smashed burgers that you see in the pictures are 100% accurate! But also lacking any kind of flavor and/or seasonings. Plus $10 for two piece fish and chips, yet the fish is teeny tiny with a soggy coating..really? The fries were bland and a wanna-be of McDonald's. Our onion rings were overcooked. Just blah! Washington does not lack yummy places to eat...
