The guy said the restaurant never processed the order from the kiosk even though we clearly showed him the pending credit card charge from our bank. There was no attempt by the staff to fix the order and make things right, rather after waiting all this time, their regress was to have us order and pay again...worst customer service I have seen in a long time. Onion rings are gigantic and except for the salt in batter which is wayyyyyy too salty, they are flavorless as well. The best thing I got was a cup of water. All that for almost $12! I don't come to BurgerFi as often as I probably would because my wife is allergic to nuts and they fry everything in peanut oil number one and my daughter has to have gluten free and they do not offer gluten-free buns. They do offer their burger on a lettuce wrap which is good. That said I really like their burgers myself. They offer a variety of toppings and cheese options. Their fries are simply magnificent. Not a fan of the toppings for the fries. I'm a purist. Hate that they do not have salt and pepper shakers. Hate opening those mini packets while my meal gets cold. They give you a great big order when you order a regular size. I also like their onion rings. Huge! And I am a big fan of their hotdogs, grilled just right and topped your way. They use the high end Coke dispenser system as well. They offer a good selection of Beer and a few wines. If you join their Frequent Flier Club They put on specials periodically that always draw me in. Their milkshakes are decadent. Prices are a bit high but really good quality. The place is very clean and very hipster. The bathrooms are very clean. Parking is usually pretty easy right out front. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor. You can bring your pets to the outdoor seating area. The music is hip and loud. I like Burger Fi. read more

When I was 7 years old, my father and I went fishing for the first time. The waters were dangerous and the wind was picking up as we were in the middle of hurricane season, when all of the sudden I fell overboard and when I rose again I was so embarrassed, I sat there red face and pants soiled. I was distraught I would never go fishing again. Fast forward 50 years I sit here a new man, these burgers have cured my past trauma and has allowed me to enjoy my life once more. As I write this, a tear falls down my cheek as my world has been forever changed. I was starving after three hours of shopping. More like three hours of waiting on someone to finish up shopping. Thankfully I didn't have to drive far at all. BurgerFi was packed and loud, although parking was not a hassle at all. I think their menu board could be a bit bigger, especially because I thought the menu was still what Yelpers had posted pictures of, but it looks to have changed slightly. I had a double cheeseburger and really did notice the quality of meat used. Someone mentioned they are the In N Out of the East Coast. I used to be a SoCal gal for many years, so I too thought In N Out was the best thing that ever happened. I'm not going to compare the two just know these burgers are a bit thicker. And taste is definitely different. If you're with a large group, get a family size portion of fries. Three hungry people killed it. And grab a side of garlic aioli to dip them in! These fries are better than In N Out. Much more flavor and natural tasting. $30 bucks for three burgers and a family size fry is a good value to me. I think BurgerFi is just another burger joint. Personally, I wouldn't go out of my way to get it, although I know plenty of people in JAX that would disagree. I had the regular cheese burger and nothing about it was really anything to write home about. The onion rings are way, way too greasy for their own good. I do have a slight obsession with the crazy cool, high tech soft drink dispensers and they have one! There is also not enough seating for a restaurant with high traffic. read more

Waited over thirty minutes to get my food after sitting and watching it just sit there on the counter, and even the cooks were looking at us because they knew our food was ready and even said something to the people working in the front, instead of bringing our food the girl with the glasses, long ponytail, and attitude proceeded to make milkshakes for people who order several minutes after us and tried to argue with the employee taking orders telling him what shes "going to do and not going to do". Once we finally got fed up enough we went to the front and asked the cook if it was possible for him to hand us our food since we waited so long, as soon as we went up to the front the girl who was giving everyone their food but us decided to go into the back so she still didn't have to hand us our food. There once was a time when this was our favorite establishment, visiting at least 1-2 times a week. However, we've noticed a significant decline in quality of the service AND food over the last 4-6 months. It often takes 45+ minutes for two cheeseburgers. Then, once the cheeseburgers are finally delivered to our table, our order is wrong. The employees are rude and not apologetic at all and the restaurant is absolutely filthy - garbage overflowing, table numbers covered in mold and filth. What I got was the child's burger with everything on it while the child order had my regular single. It was okay but not much different than Wendy's. Parking area is shared with other businesses, an area of lot is reserved as valet parking for an adjacent restaurant. Parked far. Did not see a walkway/sidewalk so maneuvered through parking area in between cars and landscape which is not safe at all. NOTE: The parking lot at Markets at Town Center, was not well planned. After my original (work related) lunch plans feel through yesterday, I figured I would just skip lunch. Apparently everyone on social media in Jacksonville had another idea. After about the 3rd picture from BurgerFi I saw, I decided to take a little drive. It was almost 3pm when I arrived and the place was pretty empty. I went with the 'build a burger' option (single patty, pickles, raw onions, ketchup, and mustard) and a regular order of salt and vinegar fries. I ran into Jennifer G and Martha G so we chatted while I waited for my food (they were pretty much done when I showed up). A nice bonus of our visit is that Will Blackmon (from the Jags) sat down near us while we were talking (he was super nice and took pictures with us and everything) so that was fun. Food wise, I give it a 5 easily. The burger was great and I think I could be easily convinced to be more adventurous next visit. The fries were good but I might stick with the plain ones next time. The 'regular' serving size was huge (think the serving sizes at Five Guys). I got the pink lemonade and really liked that, too. I appreciate that they had some bottled (in glass bottles) sodas as well as a free style machine (I think I've mentioned before my hatred of those things but nice variety) and lemonade and pink lemonade. The staff was really friendly (the girl who took my order was very patient when I was a bit confused about what I was ordering). I also loved that when I tweeted about going, they responded with a goofy gif (very quickly). The dog bowls in the outside area was a nice touch, too. If I'm being super nit picky, the only negative I could think of is that the inside trash can didn't have a place to set the trays when you throw your trash out. BurgerFi is pretty tasty I must say. The first time I stopped in was with my mom. We were hungry, so this burger spot and came in on a whim. We were pleasantly surprised! I grabbed a burger and we split a regular fry - which was enough for at least 3 or 4 people to eat on - and topped everything off with Boylan sodas. My burger, just the original BurgerFi cheeseburger with their special sauce (which I liken to a milder big mac sauce, basically thousand island) was super filling. I couldn't even finish it, so mom ate the rest haha. Mom insisted on trying the fries with vinegar. They were good, but that vinegar smell is just way too strong for my taste. The second time I brought my bf here and he enjoyed it. He made me laugh when he said the buns and burger reminded him of an upscale Wendy's. lol He meant that in the best way possible! He was licking his lips chomping up his burger. I haven't tried any of their hot dogs or custard so maybe next time i'll give that a try! Overall, nice, clean spot for a burger. A decent amount of seating but it does get packed pretty quickly! When it's nice out, the outdoor seating area is sufficient. I really gave this place a chance since looking at the pics made it look very appetizing. Wow! How I was wrong, one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I hate to say this cause I hate McDonald's, but McDonald's is so much better than burgerfi. I don't understand how this place is popular and why there's so many, seeing this, I would've expected it to be way better considering it's so expensive. I'm drooling just remembering the tasty goodness, and how my taste buds danced for joy with every bite. My kids and mom had the Kobe beef hot dogs, and they raved how good they were, and that includes my very picky six year old, lol.
