I branched out and got a Shiner Prickly Pear. Not too bad. So it was ok, but not great. This Burgerfi location has been around where I live for a couple years now and I have been here almost 5 times. Overall, their burgers are juicy and delectable with a few minor flaws. Food: burgers are very juicy with fresh toppings. The only set back for their burgers is that the bun they use is very small and weak. The past times I've been to burgerfi, the greasiness of the burgers spilled through the bun which made it very unpleasant to eat the burger. It's almost like the buns are potato buns you buy at your local supernarket. One constructive criticism I would give is for them to use a bigger, stronger bun to hold the burger in place. Maybe different options like a pretzel roll and a bigger potato roll. Their fries are not the best and not the worst. During the times I ordered from here, they would always be soggy and never crispy/fresh. I just wish they would improve with their fries instead of making them beforehand and just leaving it to keep it warm. They should be fresh out of the deep fryer every single time. Five guy's fries are also more flavorful, and have additional volume of the fries used to fill the bag. So more bang for your buck in this case. The biggest plus for burgerfi is that it serves beer, but don't expect much above a Sam Adams. In terms of decorum it is the typical neo modern setup: Hard wood panels, exposed metal, and open fans. If I could give negative stars I would. This establishment has been closed for months and it started with a handwritten note on the door saying "closed till further notice" but online it says opened. And now it says "closed for renovations". It all just seems sketchy in my opinion. I know that most of not all of their employees are not covid vaccinated. Went here last night and it was so good. I got the CEO and at first it looked like an overwhelming amount of cheese but after the first bite I couldn't put if down.
