I have eaten at this Burger King several times a year, every year, since around 2010. And around 75% of the time, I was greeted with a robust "Can I take your order pleeeeeeeease?" I love that guy. Repeats your order with confidence. Tells you the cost so you can hear it. I don't eat a ton of fast food, but my most frequent fast food craving on the Berlin Turnpike is . . . a Whopper Jr. And Number 2? A Whopper. Depends if it's a snack or a meal. LOL. The flame-broiled patties are a cut above most fast food places. I really love the combo of the lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. My other two favorite things at Bk? I love a good cherry Icee, and the Hershey's Ice Cream Pie is undeniably delicious. 3.5 Stars, which is about my highest rating for fast food. read more

First, the bacon cheeseburger and fries were good. Hot burger, salted fries, everything on the burger, all good. I would actually call the burger exceptional. The ch'king sandwich man, sheeeesh. I got the ch'king at a different bk location a couple weeks ago and it was nothing like this. The fry oil must have been WAY too hot because the fried chicken is overdone to the point of rubberyness with a disgusting thick tasteless outer layer. Whoever tossed the chicken, take a little more care because there's huge chunks of breading. I understand it's a nuisance to hand bread and fry chicken, especially when you're trying to run a lunch shift and fry your sides at the same time. But, this chicken sandwich was around 7$ after tax and I'm really unhappy with what I received. If you go to this location stick to burger and fries. Maybe grab some onion rings or jalapeño bites. To the workers, make sure that fry oil isn't torching your specialty chicken sandwich! Please, for the sake of the next costumer who wants this delicious sandwich. read more

I had a Saturday night off from work and wanted to go out to a nice family dinner. We chose The Cheesecake Factory in West Hartford because it has a huge menu and everyone can get what they like. Welp, we didn't think there would also be a huge wait. More than an hour. We left and went to the Corner Pug down the street. Unfortunately they had a rude hostess that didn't have any room to put a high chair for our 9 month old daughter....Strike two. Getting pretty hungry after two failures, we completely threw in the towel and went to a place where we knew there would be no wait and plenty of room for a high chair. We ended up having a great family dinner. The guy who looked like he was the manager was very nice and everything came out perfect. It was certainly unexpected to have our Saturday night family dinner at Burger King, but I'm really glad we did. read more

To be upfront, I'm not even a big Burger King fan. In general it's one of my lesser go to's for fast food. However, that said, this particular Burger King I really have to give pretty good credit to. The only downside with this Burger King is that some workers are "less than positive" and they can be slow during non-busy times. Outside of that though.. this location has never made a mistake with my orders (typically late night), which the majority of other places I cannot say this about. And I mean a great many. The food itself may well be the best bk lounge entrees that I have ever had too. It's always warm, presentable, and less greasy than other fast food places or even other burger king's. If you are a fan of Burger King or it's your go to, or you just want it, this location will not disappoint! Have patience and prepare for some fantastic fast food! read more

That's right, an update. They found my wallet. Every... single... dollar... remained. Nothing missing. wow. And it was there for nearly a day. I dropped it one morning, had it back the next morning. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Them again is there any other kind of BK? As with most fast food restaurants, the service is abysmal at best. This BK isn't in a shopping plaza so getting back onto the turnpike can be tricky as well. I gave it 2 stars opposed to 1 because I have in fact been to/seen even nastier BK's. I gotta give credit where credit is due. There are much better options all along the turnpike. Still though, sometime you gotta have a whopper! read more

Just one simple thing would make this Burger King a ton easier to access: connect the Burger King parking lot to the parking lot of the strip mall to the south of it. The way it is set up now, the only way to get in and out of Burger King is via Berlin Turnpike northbound and any other approach would mean having to make a U-turn. That annoyance aside, I thought this Burger King was at a fairly standard level of quality for fast food, which is to say okay but not great. I did like that they took the time to cut the chicken sandwiches, even if the end result still looked a bit squished. read more

Finally my curiosity about why this place was always empty while the McDonald's across the street was always busy got me to go inside. I learned . The employees here are as rude, nasty and unprofessional as you could imagine. The inside of the place is a disaster. The food is awful. The burgers have a rubbery feel. This location will always have you pull into a spot so they can bring it out to you if you order at the drive thru. Every. Single. Time. The other problem is that they will forget to bring it out to you and you will have to go inside to see what is going on. For a fast food burger place I'd say good job!! There whoppers are hot and fresh and I always ask for heavy onion and pickle!!! They never do me wrong!!! Fries are hot and fresh.
