AND WITH BOMBA$$ DESSERTS!! That small upper right hand pocket of foil contains a unique surprise that I live for. So far the pineapple upside down cake has been my fave. But the peanut butter cup brownie is a close second. Wish one came with their butter cake. Honestly my main concern when it comes to TV dinners is what dessert is included. So it was an added bonus that the dinners themselves were higher quality than expected! We ordered the Italian salad but were accidentally brought the Green Goddess instead. It was a harmless mistake, and since we had enjoyed that salad during our previous visit, we happily kept it. Our friends received their pizzas, and we assumed ours would follow shortly. Thirty minutes passed, and by then our friends were nearly finished eating. Meanwhile, we noticed several tables that had arrived after us receiving their food before we did. We asked our waitress to check on our order. She went back to the kitchen and returned, explaining that our pizza had apparently been forgotten and was only then being made. She assured us it would take no more than 10 minutes. Fifteen more minutes passed, and our pizza still hadn't arrived. Since we had a clear view of the kitchen, it didn't appear there was any urgency to get our order out. At that point, after waiting nearly an hour since placing our order, we had to cancel it because we had other plans and couldn't stay any longer. Our waitress apologized and removed the pizza from our bill, but that was the only resolution offered. While we appreciated her kindness, we left the restaurant disappointed and still hungry. Mistakes happen, and forgetting an order is understandable from time to time. What was most disappointing was how the situation was handled. After waiting an hour for a forgotten order, we had hoped for a more meaningful effort to make things right beyond simply removing the item we never received. Included was cucumbers salad and steamed rice. I've had their chilled cucumber salad before and this time the cucumber taste wasn't the same, guess the juice would blend too much with the miso sauce. The bowl could have had more honey miso sauce. The chicken pieces were about 1-2" in size. The sauce was mostly over the vegetables. The meal also came with a choice of S'more brownie sundae or banana pudding. My pudding was delicious. The waitress didn't come around often to check on our needs.
