I ordered a spicy alfredo with chicken and mushrooms, and it is no exaggeration when I say it's one of the best sauces I've had. The creaminess and spice were in perfect balance and the noodles and other ingredients were a textural delight every bite. The staff were kind and quick for the service they provide. Bella Mia Pasta is a great food truck based in the parking lot of a Chervon station off the 91 and Van Buren. I recently came by with two friends for one friend's birthday after an evening of drinking. One friend had eaten at the food truck before and raved about it so we took her word and came by. I ordered the Fettuccine N Cheese and added broccoli. It came with one slice of garlic bread. The pasta was slightly undercooked / al dente. The sauce was fantastic. Nice and thick. Flavorful. The breadcrumbs and smoked bacon were nice complements. I wish there was more broccoli. The serving size is much larger than expected. I was able to eat leftovers for almost two additional meals. It warmed up nicely. One friend got the shrimp fettuccine while the birthday guy got the chicken alfredo with smoked bacon. They both enjoyed their dishes. I didn't get the chance to try either of them. Everything is made to order so we had to wait around 25 minutes. Unfortunately, there isn't anywhere to sit so you can cop a squat along the curb and eat in your car. My friend was celebrating his birthday so I got a discount on his entree and a sweet birthday message on his to go box. We were helped by Jackie. She was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. Hot honey crispy Alfredo with added broccoli! I've been following Bella Mia's instagram page for a while and I finally got to try their pasta! The woman taking my order was extremely helpful, she gave me a detailed overview of the menu and ultimately helped me choose which pasta to try first! The noodles were cooked to perfection. The Alfredo sauce was smooth and creamy. The chicken was so soft, crispy and juicy all at the same time. The hot honey on the chicken really added an immense flavor I can't describe. The chicken came apart easily as I cut into each piece. Definitely had a spicy kick to it which you can make it spicier if you'd prefer. The portion size is shareable! Stumbled upon this food truck happenstance. There was a table and chairs for up to four in front of where one orders. There was a little bit of a wait (~10-15 minutes) with just one person having ordered before I placed mine. The food is all made to order. The wait was more than worth it, however! My absolute favorite pasta!!! Idk what they do in this food truck but zayyummm the flavor is flavoring! My favorites are the chile de árbol and poblano! But the banger and what makes it chefs kiss is the hot Cheetos crumbs on top!! Their desserts are also on point! But I do not agree that just because one was a breaded chicken, they charged me 10 extra dollars, for chicken and not even the sign they had outside had the right price. They recently added Alfredo Fries, seasoned fries with Alfredo sauce and Parmesan. I got mine with the Chile De Arbol Alfredo (spicy) and added crumbled Hot Cheetos and hot honey chicken. The Alfredo has a nice spice kick but it isn't anything crazy. and the fried hot honey chicken breast is MASSIVE. It's super crispy and delicious. They pound it thin so the entire top's gets covered. I'll be going soon to order just chicken and some garlic bread. It would be fantastic on it's own. They use bread crumbs so the texture's a lot different than regular fried chicken. And you get a nice, subtle heat and touch of sweetness from the hot honey. Unless you can't handle any spice it's a 3/10 tops. It was $27 but the container was absolutely packed. This is enough for at least 2 people, 3 or 4 even. And 25 minutes after I got home it's still almost too hot to eat. The spicy level's near perfect. While I can handle a lot hotter than this, for what it is I don't think more heat would make it any better. And the flavor of the Chile De Arbol stands out. I'm used to spicy Mexican and De Arbol has a very unique spice and flavor. So it's not like anything else spicy I eat. Also unless you max it out like I did it's nowhere near $27. The normal order is $10. And you can add anything to it, chicken, hot honey fried chicken, hot cheetos, brocolli bacon, shrimp and a few other things. There's so much flavor, the only partial ding would be the fries got soggy pretty quickly. But they're swimming in Alfredo sauce so I can't complain or blame them. I still think I like the fettuccine more. But I'll be ordering this again for sure. And to be honest, I don't know if it even needed the Hot Cheetos. It has so much flavor already that they kinda get lost, and most of their crunch is gone from the Alfredo sauce. Next time I'll get hot chicken + bacon. Bacon on this would make it 12/10 This is my 5th time here, I go about once a month. As soon as I walked up the lady said hello and said my name. The staff is very friendly, and apparently you can order ahead, which I suggest you do, unless like us, you want to wait 22 minutes at a Chevron Gas Station. That being said, everything is made fresh. Cars kept coming and going to order their food while I was filling up on gas during Easter evening which is why... I got food. Shrimp Alfredo was in my wife and sons opinion absolutely amazing the portion was enough to split between the two of them perfectly. (Mind you my son is a toddler, so splitting between 2 hungry people I don't recommend, even though you may have leftovers flying solo.) My daughter had the Chicken Alfredo and loved it, she ate almost the whole container, and said she wanted more, but was just too full. The garlic sweet bread was amazing with the pasta. Oh... what did I get? Well, I was still pretty full from Easter lunch so I went light with bacon and alfredo fries. Really good fusion style pasta. The truck is always tucked away and they have a small establishment but a big heart. Their customer service is very good and accommodating. They serve both type of pastas, one with whatever meat you choose or one with just veggies. In fact if you opt out of meat, you can substitute meat with veggies for no extra cost. Otherwise each topping is like $2 each. First I thought they charge a lot per plate, but I soon realized that these plates are not meant for one person at all. It's meant for atleast 2.5 normal person. So mind what you order otherwise you might to eat leftovers for days . So for the price, the quantity is amazing. But the question is the quality good? I would say absolutely! Their signature sauces don't have any eggs and it's vegetarian. Their spicy pasta is the best in my opinion. One thing is they don't have any other type of pasta accept linguine. Their pasta dishes are fusion and they taste really good. Update: this establishment is the rudest people we've ever had to deal with. Not only we're they confrontational about my original review. They had no plans on making it right. All they wanted to do was argue about why I was there if I received bad customer service. The cook / owner whatever he is couldn't fathom that if the food is good the customer service doesn't supercede that especially if my interaction last 30 seconds then I get my food and walk away. Not once did he apologize for the bad experience or anything. They refused to accountability for their actions. Which is such a shame because the food is so good. I love the food. Enough to were I come atleast twice a month. Finally took my dad to try it out and he ordered the CDA Alfredo with shrimp and brocoli. We got home and we got ready to eat just for my dad to open his plate and have no brocolli and about 3 pieces of shrimp. I've never ordered any other toppings on my pasta, I just get how it comes. So I can't say I've had those issues before. But I brought it up to the girl taking my order and her response was "he must've forgotten and ate it cause that never happens here." Yes! We did decide to give this truck another chance. Mostly because my husband liked what I had the first time (Hot Honey Chicken Alfredo) but didn't like his much (Chicken Alfredo) so, he wanted his own. The hot honey chicken alfredo is really good. I still say not worth the price point but on the up side, it will make about 3 meals worth, depending on how hungry you are. We upgraded it to the spicy too and that really kicks it up a notch. It was nice of you to recognize us Bella and it was indeed a much better trip then the first time. Although, the man you said was a cook was still there and still sort of standing around not doing much. (The one standing behind you both times now.) My personal interaction with him the first time was not good. I almost came up to discuss it with you after our meal to ask him direct and to point out to you who and what I meant. Maybe if there is a next time? This time, though. Another man, I think maybe one of the partial owners came out and brought our food to us. He was very nice and really understanding about our initial bad experience. In general it was very nice for you all to be so welcoming in spite of it. My husband was much happier with his meal this time around although he still about passed out on the bill for two. The first time, I paid, so he didn't see it directly and I do think there may have been a mistake in what we paid because the prices you mentioned did not match what we gave you on our first trip. You also mentioned we paid with a card the first time but we did not. This would now be 5 stars if their prices were a bit more reasonable. We updated from the single star because of how nice Bella and the man who brought our food to us, was and because the Hot Honey Chicken Spicy Alfredo is very good. Luckily my husband is a bit more free with our money because I about passed out both times seeing the bill for this and now that he is also fully aware what it costs, we will see if we will be back.
