I wasn't initially excited about another chain in our shopping center, but I've grown to really love this place. Everyone who works here is super friendly, especially the manager, who is always so welcoming. My kids love it here and we come often, especially on Tuesdays when kids eat free. It's Burger Lounge, so you know exactly what you're getting, and I like that. The only small thing to note is that they occasionally forget the milk or ice cream in to-go orders, so just be sure to double-check your bag. 5 stars for service as Christina and James are rockstars. Their insight and no pressure attitude have always been so welcoming. I finally decided to try BL as I was next door having coffee and needed quick lunch before heading back to work. Christina was working and recommended items for me to try. I tried: Paleo Burger (Grass-Fed Beef, Bacon, Grilled Zucchini, Grilled Tomato, Avocado, Daikon Sprouts ) $16.95: - pricey for a keto burger but it's a generous portion of beef. I forgot to ask if they can do a lower patty temp but Christina was able to notify the kitchen of my preferred med rare when I ran back to her a few min after ordering. The grass fed beef was well seasoned but tasted a bit dry. The smashed avocado was creamy and fresh. I liked the grilled zucchini. I asked for a side of truffle aioli to try with the beef and loved it. I wasn't that hungry that meal so only managed to eat a portion of the meal but it reheated well later that day Onion rings $5.95 (small order): - these tasted freshly fried! The batter was wonderfully crispy and seasoned. I wish the onion slices were bigger though. James checked on customers during the meal and his smile and politeness blew me away. Back in the early days of Burger Lounge they had an exotic burger every few months.  I loved visiting and trying each one.  My favorite was their wild boar burger.  For the month of November they brought back their bison burger.  I loved the flavor of the bison which had a nice bit of sweetness from the bbq sauce.  The arugula added an earthy flavor while the crispy onions added a sharp onion flavor.  I added bacon which was a small amount which added a light salty and smoky flavor.  Great tasting burger. Onion rings had a crunchy panko batter and I loved the flavor. The last few months Burger Lounge has been doing inflation buster promotions.  For a week they will have an inflation buster burger.  I tried a few. Western burger was $9.54.  I was the 1st customer of the day so my burger came out quick.  First thing I noticed was how small the bun looked.  The advantage to the small sized bun was the excellent beef to bun ratio.  Beef was tender and I liked the mild flavor.  Bacon had a tasty smoky and salty flavor.  Bbq sauce was really tangy and I removed it as it was distracting me from the delicious meats.  Onion rings had a nice crunch and I liked the fried onion flavor.  Very good tasting burger without the bbq sauce. 2nd visit I tried the Husky and paid extra for bacon.  Beef was good quality.  Tender and juicy with light beefy flavor.  Bacon was crispy and had a nice smoky flavor.  Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp.  Very good burger. Each visit friendly employees greeted me, checked to see how I was doing and said goodbye.  My burgers came out quickly.  Great customer service here. read more

Not too bad. Was looking for a burger spot. Oh how much I wish my favorite spot delivered but they don't so I'm on my journey for the perfect delivery burger. This was from door dash. Now I can't dissect them as pricey since it is door dash but it kind of sucks they don't offer the ability to ask for cooking preference of the meat like non fast food spots and how can a 13-16$ burger not come with fries. Not even a small option. Their special sauce is ok but it's not top notch. Was it horrible. No. Decent. Yes. Amazing. No. Maybe it would be better in person and would have saved 6-10$ total on two burgers. I might try them once more and update but so far. 32$ for two burgers and fries. And this is from their menu. I agree with Mike T. there is something wrong here. In our to-go order the both buns were solid black both sides. We discovered this at home so swapped the charred buns for bread and ate then but saved the charred evidence. Later we went back and showed them. Asked them to comp the meal. They said: Do you want some new buns? Of course this is a management problem: the employees are being taught the customer is always wrong. Been here twice now for a late dinner and my fish burger with extra patty was perfect each time! This last visit we caught an employee scooping vanilla ice cream scoops and couldn't resist since they're only a dollar each. Perfect lil sweetness to end the meal. Service was super friendly and everyone seemed to know the answer or was willing to find out immediately. Really appreciate when employees treat you like family rather than another annoying customer asking a million questions. (If you're reading this, thanks for your patience!) They even offer spring water in a box for easy transport -able to keep in a hot car, where plastic bottles would leach everything you don't want to ingest. You know it's bad when you got me remembering my login for Yelp and pulling up with the review. Anyways, it was a beautiful day in Southern California when I walked into Burger Lounge. I take a couple steps to the counter confidently and order the Classic, which according to their menu is a 'Grass-Fed Beef, American Cheese, Ketchup, Mustard, Onion, Pickles'. I order it medium rare to pay respects to the chef. I pay $14 dollars...a bargain. I inform them, 'I'll be back'. I go to TJ's for a quick grocery trip and come back to pick up my precious. I am hyped. About to eat a medium rare grass fed cow with the most American, Paul Revere having cheese you've ever seen, some Heinz, and some fermented cucumbers. But when I opened that bag, something completely different awaited me. It was the most well done burger you've ever seen with NOTHING on the burger except half a piece of cheese.... Unprofessional service. Placed an order before 9, came to pick it up a bit after hour at night. Staff were younger (teenage years or early 20s). They told me to get out, no apologies or consideration. Especially cashier girl (long brown hair, tall), was rude. Even if I made a mistake coming in after closing time, it's ok to explain that they were closed and cannot give me the food. Instead, berating at your customer, yelling at me to get out while blasting music, is truly unprofessional and isn't a good look for the establishment. For this price, I would rather go to Shake Shack or In-N-Out. I suggest you do a re-valuation of your staff if you want business from this neighborhood. read more

Heard about the grand opening today and decided to pick up a few burgers for my employees for lunch. Manager at the front recommended the truffle burger and it DID NOT disappoint. Our second time visiting this location. The first time was decent, however, this time was a little busier. The food took a while to come out and did not taste fresh, on one burger we added bacon and avocado, however, there was none. Requested on both order that the onions be caramelized, but both orders came with raw onions. Seemed understaffed for the time of day, the cashier was also delivering orders to the tables. I think they would benefit from someone doing a quality assurance check on the orders. read more

I laughed a little at David M.'s review because I was sitting at a table near the cash register when I heard the woman scream "We are doing the best we can!!" At the time, I commented to my husband how rude it was as he was being totally polite. There were several people waiting for food - god forbid you ask about your order after waiting for 30+ minutes. I've been here twice now and have waited over a half hour to get my complete order each time. Yesterday, the burgers were undercooked but we didn't send them back because we'd be there for another hour if we did. I was so excited to try this place. We have no other burger places near by. I order two classic burgers and two fry's to go. When I got home and pulled out the burgers they were not edible. The patties were burnt black to a crisp completely on one side. Completely overcooked. The cooks should have never allowed this to be served to a customer. 10 bucks for a burger that had to be tossed in the trash. Actually two burgers. How could this place serve a burger to a customers like this. I feel very disappointed in the staff of this place. This is not how to treat customers when you can see you overcooked the meat beyond edible. If they continue to serve food like this they will not be in business long. read more

I know this place just opened, but that is no excuse for a complete lack of customer service. As I was ordering my food, an employee squirted ketchup all over my very expensive white sweater and in my hair! The manager was apologetic, but seriously? I assumed they would offer to comp the fries I ordered, but she surprisingly did not. Then, instead of expediting my order so I could get home to get the ketchup off myself, I waited there for 10+ minutes. I was willing to let all of this go, but when I got home, my fries were cold. Like cold cold. I live 3 minutes away, so there is no way they handed me hot food. It gets better. I called and said my husband would be driving back to pick up hot fries. When he got there, the manager (skylar) refused to replace the fries. She said they are not in the business of handing out free food. They are apparently just in the business of getting ketchup on people and serving them cold food. This woman has clearly never worked a customer service job in her life. Extremely rude server. Before ordering, I asked how long it will take and was told 15min. Came back after ~20min and I POLITELY asked the server at the counter whether my name was called. Abruptly another server yells loudly "We are doing the best we can" "When did you place the order like 5min ago?" Even if I were at fault, such rude yelling was completely unnecessary. I simply said "It's okay and backed away." Worse... after 40min when I finally get my food, it was burnt and tasted horrible. I love Burger lounge and have always had good food and good service. This review is regarding their claims to have gluten-free options. They should call it "gluten friendly" and not "gluten-free" because two out of three times my son has been there he has become sick from cross contamination. They have a good set up - separate toaster, and separate area, but they just can't seem to prepare a hamburger without inadvertently contaminating it. But if you're looking for a gluten friendly burger, I highly recommend it. Their buns are good. Their fryer is not dedicated so you can't get fries. read more
