How I heard of this place: Years ago, on a road trip across country, my family stopped at Burger King for a quick bite before continuing on. I vividly remember ordering five of the Original Chicken Sandwiches, one for each member of my family, with sides of fries and drinks. While it has been years since I had eaten at BK, it was high time to relive the memories. Type of cuisine: The new look of fast food. From times prior, when we only had the option of chicken sandwiches or beef burgers, we have moved into the fast food of the future, sharing breakfast options, salads, low-fat and kids options, as well as customized menus. Ambiance: Even though the food options have grown since back in the early 1980s, the look and feel of the space has changed very little. Plastic chairs and tables, plastic booths with decorated backs are strategically placed throughout the establishment. Floor to ceiling windows allow for views of the street from three of four sides of the venue, while the fourth leads to the counter and into the kitchen area. Windows are bedecked with posters and new menu items, special late-night hours and promotions, including free wi-fi. Fluorescent lights typically create a yellowed tone throughout and the sounds of radio talk can be heard as the drive-through is occupied by more patrons. This BK, however, created more brightness and less fluorescence through allowing for only natural light to stream through the tall windows during our day-time visit. Plastic, vases with green rocks and bright, fake flowers on each laminate-granite tabletop, fabric kites with tails and the huge, colorful, enclosed play area (with more seating) at the back gave way to the most clean, bright and happy BK we have seen to date. Chairs also seemed to have undergone an upgrade with metallic pewter/silver/aluminum-colored seat-backs and less gaudy decor on the seat cushions. What I ordered: On this visit, I ordered the 10-piece Chicken Tenders Value Meal ($5.49) with BBQ sauce. The small size included fries and a 20-ounce drink, of which I chose Sprite. My dining companion went with the Original Chicken Value Meal ($7.33) with cheese and made it medium-sized, with fries and a lemonade. What I loved: I always love the fries, but was somewhat disappointed with one of our two baskets, on this visit. The BBQ sauce, which I had not had for years, if not a full decade (or two), made my day on this snack-stop. Why I loved it: Quick, efficient, you always know what you're going to get. There are no surprises when it comes to the flavor, general consistency and combination in a BK meal. Cost: Low ($5-$7 per Value Meal) read more

This was the worst Burger King I have ever been too. Bathroom was disgusting. Employee taking our order was rude and completely disinterested. The food was the WORST! had chicken nuggets and it was like eating nuggets that had been on the floor for 6 months. I probably will have food poisoning by the time I'm finished writing this. Upon leaving, saw two of the three employees smoking pot in their car while on a "break". It's trash and Burger King should remove this restaurant from the franchise read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I waited at the register for 20 minutes holding my sleeping 4 yr old and even though several employees walked by, not a one even bothered to say hello. Not even the toothless hillbilly who appeared to be in charge. read more

Wow! The worst experience at a fast food restaurant I've had in years! Put in a mobile order, went through the drive-thru window to pick up. Was told to pull up to the order would be out shortly... roughly 15mins we received our food after I had to go into the restaurant to retrieve it myself. Order was missing several items. Cold burger. Staff really didn't care. Upper management should really get involved... this seems like a trend for this place. read more

Pros: 1. Food taste acceptable Cons: 1. Drive thru line too short (only 2 cars fit before the ordering speaker) and no place for a longer line to fit without disrupting flow of traffic 2. Burger patty almost an inch smaller in diameter than the bun but picture of it has it bigger than the bun. 3. Got short changed - ordered 2 Wopper Jr. meals but found only 1 Fries in the bag when we were 1/2 mile down the road. It was not worth the time going back as we had 90 more miles to go. Don't come here if you're expecting "fast food". They're always understaffed and the drive thru takes ages to get through.

I normally try to think of something positive in writing a review but unfortunately cannot think of one for this particular Burger King. I tried to reach out to BK directly but haven't received a response in the two weeks since this trip. This is hands down the WORST experience at BK. We stopped here on our way back on a road trip and it was terrible from the beginning. The line wasn't too bad but the wait for the food once we ordered (at 1:41pm) wasn't ready for 17 minutes (1:58pm). Nothing out of the ordinary was ordered yet they managed to mess it up. The place was trashed, I posted pics of the restaurant but none of the restroom which I'm sure you can imagine. The part that bothered me the most, though, was an older employee calling a customer stupid for not seeing where a utensil was near the drink machine. Overall, terrible experience. Stopped here instead of Chic-fil-A because it was closer. First compliant no baby changing station in the bathroom. How can you have a kids play area and no where to change a child? No one in line when we ordered and ended up waiting a good twenty minutes for FAST FOOD - in my opinion this place is not very fast. To top it off while we were eating another customer threw his food and drink all over the floor (I guess he was mad at who he was with) and not one worker came out to clean it up for over 5 minutes. read more

Slowest drive through ever is I could give no starts I would! And no milkshake machine? Dumb just plain dumb

The worst burgerking ever, rude employees that leave the store and skip out on customers. Had one today use profanity when talking to me saying "what the hell is that?". I ordered an item and the employee looked at me in disgust. They are consistently fighting here. They do not wear hair nets or gloves when handling food. The wait time to get your food is horrific. They misplace orders as well. Do not come here. Save yourself the time, money and effort and not come to this burgerking. read more

Drive thru was typical, slow and they made me pull up foward and wait for my drive thru order. And there wasn't any lines. They do this cuz they can't get the order out fast enough and there must be a timer that gets the Mgr in trouble for having slow service. read more

My 8 year old wanted to go in the lobby and order and pay on her own...boy was this the worst place to let her do that! She learned just how mean some fast food workers can be to a little kid for no damn reason. They told her that they were out of fries, that kids meals no longer come with toys and when she ordered a plain cheeseburger, they threw whatever trash burger they had left in the back in her meal...some kind of old bacon double cheeseburger with ketchup and mustard. And this was no mistake: the receipt reflected what she ordered. This Burger King needs a visit from the Health Department...the food is supposed to be made to order, how are you going to serve trash burgers to a kid?!? Kids have compromised immune systems, you could make a kid really sick pulling crap like that. This Burger King's franchise should be revoked. read more

I came to this Burger King on a holiday and the service was quick and friendly. The food was particularly fresh for fast food on a busy day. Great experience, I will definitely be coming back. read more

All I ordered was chicken fries, that's it. I gave the cashier a ten dollar bill, I was given three dollars back and no receipt. So I parked, went inside, stood there in line holding my money and BK bag for fifteen minutes just to get my proper amount of change for the one item I ordered. No apology or anything, just rude employees overall. Never going to any Burger King again. read more

So far, on a few dining room visits, this place looks to be trying to give fast food a good name. Place has been clean, food as expected, and staff decent (better class of folks on average, not sure what the formula is, but most fast food places screw up bigtime here these days). My guess is that something major changed at this and perhaps other Burger Kings during the last six months. Let's hope they can keep it up: if they can, they'll get my money (if not, easy to skip). read more
