Stopped at this BK while traveling between Virginia Beach and central Virginia. It was Labor Day 2022, so a Monday around 1:30 pm. I hadn't been planning to write a Yelp review but decided to after realizing that our experience was far better than the average given for this restaurant on Yelp. This review reflects our eating-in experience. We did not use the drive-through. Food. (4.5/5). Between two of us, we ordered one Impossible Whopper with Cheese meal (which included a medium onion rings and medium soda) ($10.59, plus an extra $0.80 for 2 slices of cheese) and a separate regular Whopper with Cheese ($6.09). The burgers and onion rings were hot, and both burgers came with a generous amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and sauce (mayo?). We also received a packet of tasty Zesty sauce for the onion rings, and ketchup packets. The food was tasty, but certainly couldn't be considered a healthy lunch. To be fair though, it isn't advertised as such. I appreciate that BK offers the meatless Impossible burgers, which taste amazingly like meat. The medium-sized soda was huge and self-serve, with a wide variety of options. Our only issue with the food is that the quantity of onion rings in the medium was less than expected. Service (4/5). We were waited on quickly and cordially. As is customary practice, I was asked and agreed to having cheese on my burger. I was later surprised when I looked at my receipt, and found that I had been charged for HEAVY cheese - 2 slices. This was more than I thought I had ordered. Restaurant appearance (4/5). The restaurant continues to make efforts to stay clean given COVID. The children's playground continues to be closed. The drink machine can be touch-less with use of an app. Some tables are blocked off to allow social distancing. Ketchup is in self-use packets only. Our only negative is that the tables could be wiped down more frequently. Value. (3/5). Our total came to $19.40, with taxes, which in non-inflationary times would be considered pricey for the amount of food received. We were also disappointed that BK wasn't running any promotions that would have allowed us to try new products or reduced prices. Convenience. (4/5). We came here primarily to bring a kiddo to the play place. I was surprised to see such a low rating -it seems like a regular Burger King to me! The tables were dirty in the play land area and there was a spilled milkshake ( my daughter cleaned it up!) inside the tubes of the play land- The food serving area and the service was fine-one extra staff member to clean would make a big difference here. The front of the store was bustling with customers-so it seems like a busy location. read more

This is probably the worst chain of Burger King. The two times my husband and I have tried to go we ended up leaving and going elsewhere. I came one time to pick up a door dash order and thankfully haven't gotten anymore. They misplaced the order for the person, it took over 10 minutes to get anyone's attention and I waited over 40 minutes to get that persons food after I showed the staff the order at least a dozen times. Multiple people came in complaining that their orders were wrong. They are extremely understaffed however that doesn't excuse the slow delivery of food at all. Unwittingly wandered into this complete cluster*. Waited over 45 mins for my 2-burger order. Others in line waited over an hour. Purportedly short staffed but at least employees who were on site were moving with the speed of a Galapagos tortoise. This was not a massive lunch rush, this was a pretty sedate regular flow. Workers wound up posting "not taking orders at this time" signs on the order kiosks. Others stuck in line said it's always like this. I guess they need a "your expected wait time is: X" sign. EVERY time i go to this place, they either say their drive through doesnt work or there is so few people working that you have to bring a book to read as they are so slow with the drive through. This is happening to so many fast food places in Williamsburg and they are going out of business so fast. Owners/Managers do not pay attention to their employees operating the business. KFC, Popeyes, and so many others will say their drive through doesn't work to get out of doing any work. SO these places are going out of business. Can't express how fed up I am with this location. From how long they take to get your order out to the food quality. If I'm waiting over 20mins for my food I'm thinking fries are freshly out not bottom of the barrel fries that are also hard. The tomatoes and lettuce in the burger are always soggy. Disgusting location!!! To not taking orders unless done through the app? What kind of ish is that? Defeats the purpose of drive thru convenience for people. I was the 3rd car in line at the drive-through. It took about 25 minutes to get to the window, followed by another 10 minutes at the window waiting for my simple order (burger and fries). If this wasn't enough, the food came out cold.... not even slightly warm. Last visit there ever! read more

My family was looking for a cheap place to eat. We stop for Burger King 5 Dollar meals. The lady points out the meal and reads us the options and what it comes with. Then when we try to order it she turns super sassy and says that they don't have it and that it wasn't on the register. She had just pointed them out to us. Fast service. Friendly staff. Clean bathroom. Accurate order. Nothing to complain here. Plenty of parking spaces as well and the facility was well lit in and out. The order came out in less than 5 minutes with a snaking long line for drivethru as well as inside pick up. I was disappointed when I went through the drive thru and ordered a bacon melt meal and drove home and found out it was just a jr wopper. Which made me mad because I paid ten dollars for a sandwich and ended up getting a sandwich that cost like 5.00 dollars. Tried to call but they are not answering the phone and it's just disappointing because they don't have good customer service it seems like. This is the most unprofessional fast food establishment in the state of Virginia. Employees outside smoking weed. Employees inside with their pants falling down. Always stating that the system is down. They don't answer the intercom. Employees kids running around in the restaurant while the doors of the restaurant are locked (like it's a day care). This place has hardly any business and when they do there's always some reason for why they can't do their job! The reason i gave it one star is because i could not put zero. We were originally going to go through the drive thru but the menu screen was broke, so we decided to go inside the first door we came to was locked and the next one was locked to so we walked all the way to the other side to the only door that was unlocked. It took forever to get our food, and when we got it the food was cold and looked like it was cooked the day before. There is ants crawling on the counters and knats were flying around. Worst Burger King I have eaten from. Customer service was horrible. I paid for medium drinks and was given small drinks because they didn't have medium cups. When I went inside to exchange them they had attitudes. They never apologized and didn't offer to upgrade my drinks. The burgers were burnt and the drinks were horrible and we didn't even drink them.
