The only thing that I found off-putting was that the building is fenced almost all the way that I have to walk a long way to enter. What really ruined the visit was another customer who involved himself in the situation for no reason. While we were trying to sort out the misunderstanding, he started making rude comments toward us, then escalated to yelling racial insults, including calling us "stupid minorities," loud enough for people in the drive-thru to hear. I told my friend to walk away before things escalated further, but the whole situation left a bad impression. This happened on May 18 around 11:20 PM. One of the things about Dicks Drive In is the walk up to order brings back memories of when I was a kid. Now if you want to sit down and eat you get in your car and enjoy your meal. The place has a nice sized parking lot and the staff is fast and friendly. The burgers arrived in the Iconic Dic's paper bag one look inside and I was happy the food is consistent the burgers are served one way but you can add onions for extra and Don't forget to get some of the yellow tartar sauce for your fries! Dick's is a puget sound icon for burgers and in my humble opinion it holds it own with the national chains.
