Anyways, again, it's been YEARS, but gollllllly that first bite was so nostalgic. Inedible. That's basically it. They get one star only because there was a transaction; I paid and received what they call food and a drink but that's about it. Went through the drive through and ordered a Whopper w/ Cheese--no onions and a small Coke. What I received was completely inedible. A hamburger patty (I think), with something that looked like cheese, no lettuce tomato etc, but piled high with what seemed to be dehydrated fried onions and dried tiny pickles (?) with three slices of hard bacon. I'm giving 1-2 extra stars for the better customer service I get here over the Burger King on 15th and 145th. The cashiers are never argumentative or dismissive. They understand how the Burger King rewards program works. The food is standard and comparable to other Burger Kings I've been to. Kind of disappointing for a fast food chain, but corporate is probably the one to blame. Everything is much smaller than I'd expect. I almost thought my double cheeseburger only had 1 patty because I could barely see the other one. The size of the double cheeseburger is what I'd expect a single/regular cheeseburger to be or maybe even smaller. After I bought my two Junior Whoppers at this store, I decided to do research. It turns out that the hamburgers are NOT fresh or made at the store. Burger King has hamburgers made for them--shipped in 15-pound boxes, frozen, PRE-COOKED, PRE-FABRICATED, including the grill marks. Each store then heats up the HAMBURGER PRODUCT, the same kind you can buy at the store. Unbelivable. After all this time. I know someone who works there. So what's in these Burger King hamburger products? Not 100% beef. Something similar to: Beef, Seasoning (Spices, Dehydrated Garlic, Salt, Brown Sugar, Canola Oil, Modified Corn Starch, Silicon Dioxide [Anticaking Agent], Maltodextrin, Natural Flavor), Water, Natural Flavor. Okay, so--they do taste kinda good with the ingredients they add to the pre-made burgers, even though the stores heat up their burgers with a flame broiler, or so they say. So, knowing this, I am very less likely to have a hamburger after the ones I bought at Burger King. I do know that stores like Kidd Valley and Burgermaster and Wendy's use fresh hamburger, which is why they taste so much better and are more expensive. Meh--people will still buy them anyway, since they are cheap. But the TV commercials LEAD YOU TO believe you are getting something that you are not. The girl that was working the counter had an entire bussing station full of food and was dragging her feet around. I was like hey can I get my drink while I wait for my mobile order and she was like no I can't I was like um ok no big deal right it's busy I get it. Until I hear her talking about me in Spanish when her coworker asked about the impossible she said something in the lines of it's that assholes he can wait and then snickered. Her coworker did not seem too amused but had to shrug it off because he was working the drive through, then she gets to everything cleared out almost except my food then walks to the counter and starts helping another customer, glaring at me occaisionally the entire time. Asked to use the bathroom to wash my hands from working, was told nope people mess it up so we do t have any. I said that's against health code and she replied that's corporate rules... I said ok but the law states you have to have a bathroom because it's a health risk. But hey you don't make the rules. I wait for my order, then she runs her mouth to the manager. "Oh he just mad cuz he can't use the bathroom" then I unloaded on her she cursed me and then on my way out she calls me a "honky" I was livid. It's fast food, I am not expecting top tier cooking. The food isn't really being cooked, the main thing is to get requests correct. At this Burger King, extra mayo means they take the prepared burger, dunk it in a vat of mayo and then wrap it. tldr: WORST BURGER KING IN THE AREA. AVOID. I do like a good whopper from Burger King. That said, this location is utterly subpar compared to the SoDo, Factoria, and Bellevue locations. Worst Burger King service I experienced today. Lets start out with my order, I ordered the 2 for $5 special breakfast sandwiches with 2 large hash browns. They only gave me 1 large hash brown. Plus they didn't ask me if I wanted a croissant or a biscuit for the 2 for $5 breakfast sandwich special. I got a biscuit but it wasn't good, it easily falls apart. Its more better that I should of gotten the croissant for the 2 for $5 Breakfast sandwich special. Next is customer service, when I got my food, I said thank you but the person at the drive thru didn't even say you're welcome but that's okay. Maybe he might not be having a good day. I got all the way back to the office only to discover I had been given a kid sized hamburger and chicken sandwich along with small fries. I called to speak with the manager who refused to give his name and hung up on me not once but TWICE!! I contacted another location and had that mgr. forward my contact info to Gen. Mgr. I came to the location on aurora at about 10:10-10:15, roughly 15ish minutes after they had closed. I originally came looking to eat at Ivar's, but didn't realized they had already closed. I am a 5'2, 100 pound woman. I wouldn't be saying this if it wasn't important later on. So, for those who don't know, aurora avenue is pretty effin' dangerous after 10:00, for both men and women but ESP for smaller women who have been drinking and are by themselves. I realized this pretty soon after the older, larger white manager of the fast food place took one look at me and essentially said 'get lost', before slamming the door on my face and laughing me off. Thanks for leaving a 20-year-old, small woman by herself in one of Seattle's more dangerous areas while she is visibly sobbing and upset. Shame on you and everyone woman you stand by. read more

I don't think that anything you taste or experience in a Burger King is ever going to impress you. I could be wrong. In my humble opinion the quality of Burger King since the 80's when I was a kid has gone down exponentially. Things just aren't the same. To that point all Burger Kings aren't created equal. Some are just gross at this point. This one I have to say isn't bad. The food is pretty good. It's relatively close to what I remember from my childhood. I wouldn't go as far as to call the staff overly friendly but they do get my order right so I declare victory. It is sometimes a challenge to get into the drive thru if you're coming from South but that is a small thing. The best part about this place is that it's open pretty late. Midnight on the weekdays I think and 1 on the weekends but don't quote me. Look it up for yourself. read more
