Stopped in to get a combo meal at 1:30 pm on a Friday afternoon. I was the second car in the second drive thru lane. After sitting there for about 5 to 7 minutes, the car ahead of me just drove off - not sure how long they had been waiting. I pulled up and waited another 5 minutes and finally was able to order. The order-taker was kind of rude and cut me off in the middle of my order. Then I pulled up to the window, where I was also the second car in line. Sat there for about 8 to 10 minutes. There was literally no movement at the window. People still at the ordering stations started pulling through and driving off. I finally pulled out and left too. Things happen, shifts get under-staffed, etc. But there needs to be some effort made to inform the customers that you are having issues and their orders may be delayed. I won't be returning to this location. The service has never been stellar there and it's just not worth the time and aggravation. There's a lot of other (better) options in that area. read more

Took 15 minutes just for a whopper meal in confused why this took 15 minutes 1 star for real

I tried an Impossible Whopper the other day, and it was really good! It was the best Beyond/ Impossible burger I've ever had. They're usually at sit down restaurants, so they're also more expensive, but this one was by far the best one. I was also in Canada recently, and several fast food chains there have gotten them, and those were not nearly as good as this either. If you've never had one, they don't look just like meat. I wouldn't eat it if it did. As far as tasting like meat, I wouldn't know, but my husband also liked it. Right now they're only for a limited time, but I hope they carry them permanently soon. I almost never go to fast food restaurants because there's nothing for me to eat, so it's nice to have an option. It was also ready ridiculously fast. Decent spot to grab a quick bite when you are on the go. This location is in the Tops Plaza on Panorama Trail. I picked up a whopper with cheese and a frozen coke. Sometimes the frozen coke machine is down. I didn't feel like making anything today so this was the place stopped. read more

Got drive through on Sunday pm , was told to wait by first window because we get "in trouble " if the order is not ready when you wait at second window . Nevertheless they gave me the order quite quickly but when I started munching on the fries could definitely tell they were old , when I got home the burger was so bad the bread was hard , worst burger ever had . This place is a dump. First impression walking in there was a mound of ants sitting on the ground near the entrance. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and order. I just sat down for some BK after a taxing morning, and one of the employees, a cute little old lady, stopped by my table and asked how everything was, and then dropped a couple of minutes on my tray! Am I in the twilight zone? The employees beginning the counter all seem efficient and clear and get along with each other, the food was good and hot and fast... Wow... really just wow. I went in at 8:15am. I was the ONLY person in the place that wasn't an employee. I placed a fairly simple order, two croissandwiches, small hash browns, and a small coffee. 15 minutes later the manager that MADE my food called to the woman that took my order to tell her someone was out front. Let me start by saying I never go to Burger King. I wanted to try the chicken burger so I ventured over to the Penfield BK. The restaurant was clean and bright and the staff was super organized and friendly. Food was hot and tasty. I know it's fast food and staff can be cranky. Everyone looked to take pride in their job. As Burger Kings go, this one has excellent food. The service during the day is great. However, evening shifts definitely pose a challenge for its staff, because we have found ourselves waiting behind one car at the drive-through for over ten minutes.
