Croissant and tots

It's too bad I had to give one star the menu says for this Morro Bay location that the croissants are toasted. The croissant is raw and doughy. The tots are so full of grease. You can see the grease leak through the bag and they were cold. my suggestion, toast your croissant and air fry the tots.

Ordered a Whopper Jr. and fries at 5:33pm. The burger was good, as I expected. The fries were cold and stale. They were not good at all and I ended up throwing them out. That's too bad as I was really looking forward to the thicker cut fries that BK serves, being hot and crispy/soft. I would have happily waited a few extra minutes for fries made to order. I tried a fry while leaving the parking lot immediately after receiving the order; it tasted like cardboard. Yuk. The server, on the other hand, was very friendly and efficient. Fix the fries and the star rating will go up!

Tomato I threw to the birds
Brianna E.

Going to have to go back after work because they gave me a wrap WITH tomato and no onion, when I put that is wanted NO tomato (never said to remove the onion). Had to give it to my coworker and go hungry because I decided there was too much tomato residue to risk having a reaction. It's not the first time I've had an issue where I put no tomato but get it, so this time it needs to be addressed.

Friendly staff, always gets my order right whether its via the app or in person. BK does what fast food does best, be consistent. It's extremely rare that I have an issue here, about the only one I have is that the nuggets are occasionally a bit dry. Still have the best fries in the industry as far as I'm concerned. It's a nice clean store as well.

Having Lunch with the King
Lance L.

Welcome to the B.K. Lounge! Anyone remember the good ol' days of going to Burger King and ordering your meal as the cashier spoke into the magical microphone repeating your order? If only those days still existed, maybe, just maybe there wouldn't be so many mixed-up orders coming out from the back. I know the advancement of technology in the fast food business has drastically improved both the efficiency and speediness of food being made and making "fast food" even faster, but sometimes no matter how good the technology is, humans are still humans and simple mistakes get made. (Not the end of the world for this visit, but the expectation in this day and age is to get your order right, especially when the Motto is: "Have it your way." Recently, I was in San Luis Obispo with friends and we made our way to B.K. for lunch. To be fair, my order had no issues and the food was fit for a King. Two of my friends on the other hand had a few minor issues with their orders that they easily just shrugged off and we laughed about as we ate our lunch outside on the grass. 1 order had the wrong size fries even though a larger size fry was paid for. My other friend ordered a whopper with 2 meat patties and 2 slices of cheese. To his dismay, his double cheeseburger was cheese-less. I suppose they will catch the error during their next inventory when two extra slices of cheese come out of nowhere. ;) At the end of the day, Burger King Morro Bay is alright in my book. They are holding down the castle during this Pandemic and ensuring it's customers and staff are safe and protected while inside their restaurant. Even though I don't frequent Burger King often, when I do, my jam is always their Original Chicken Sandwich with a side of onion rings and bbq sauce to dip them into. Side Note: If you haven't heard it already, look up Dane Cook's Burger King skit on You Tube and you will have a much better appreciation for the 'Burger King'.

Double Whopper
Ariel A.

I ordered 4 double whoppers with no buns- this cost over $50. When I got home I realized 3 of the burgers only had 1 patty and the last burger was literally just lettuce , tomato, and onion. I tried calling this location but they continuously ignored my calls. Management really needs to retrain their employees. I would suggest skipping BK and going over to McDonald's, sadly. If I wasn't on my period I would have taken it back but I am trying to be a calm person.

Dont bother. Pre-cooked patties are barely warm, fries are cold and stale. Mcd's is right across the street.

I was in town road tripping and happen to be on Embarcadero Street, the main touristy drag on the edge of the harbor where the Hofbrau is located. So off we go. The Hofbrau is tucked a bit beyond the front sidewalk, it's easy to miss. There are a few parking spaces (including ADA) in lot in front of the eatery. The lot is compact and requires a few 3 pt turns to maneuver about. So as I stepped into the joint. The cashier gave us a sincere welcome. Having told her it's our first time here, she let us know that we order and pay at the counter with the food brought out to us and there is no assigned seating. I asked what's their best selling hot sandwich. She advised to get a French Dip. So I did. Drumroll please.... unfortunately the sandwich fell flat. The roast beef was flavorless and dry. The plate came out without the au jus. I didn't notice at first and had to go back to the counter to ask for it. But aw shucks, the au jus turned out to be lackluster as well. Lacking distinct flavor. Both the sandwich and au jus temp was lukewarm. Disappointing. Could it have been an "off day"?! Anomaly?! Let's talk about the view! Impressive. The interior dining room diners can get the same great views of the harbor, ocean, the Morro Bay as the patio diners. We scored an outside table. At first, I was extremely concerned with the busy body seagulls. But it wasn't an issue. They stayed clear. So the scenery did lessen the disappoint of the sandwich. And from the reviews, it seems the chow-da and fish n chips were worth looking into more so than the carved meats. Next time.

Our server was the sweetest lady ever and really elevated the whole experience. Oysters: The absolute star of the show. They were incredibly fresh and tasty. Clam Chowder: As a huge chowder fan, this was easily one of my favorite dishes. It was perfectly creamy and loaded with texture. You could really taste the savory bacon bits throughout the whole thing! Corn Salad: So delish! I loved the sweet burst of corn mixed into the salad. Poke Nachos: The tuna itself was delicious and noticeably fresh, but the dish as a whole was a bit too greasy for my liking. It seemed like the chips weren't fully drained from the fryer, leaving them holding onto too much oil. Local Petrale Sole: This dish was just okay. Unfortunately, both the fish and the accompanying rice were a bit too dry for my taste. The steamed veggies in this dish was super good though!
