Well I've been wondering lately, does anyone do their job? Seems easy enough. I order my food and…read morepay over $70 for 3 burgers, 3 milkshakes, and 2 medium orders of french fries that I should get what I asked for! Somewhere someone decided to add mushrooms to all the burgers. Went to 5 Guys. I was the only customer, so it wasn't as if they were busy. It's becoming the norm it seems. To get my order wrong. But I did count the number of items, didn't think I'd have to open each burger to check that they were the burgers I ordered. I ordered mine with only ketchup, lettuce and pickle, nothing else. And tipped him $6. So $80 and I got a few fries and a milkshake. Milkshakes were really good though! $80 for 3 people!

What does a $8 slice of cake look like?…read more Come!!! Let me show you.... I don't mind paying much more than $8 bucks for dessert. Would I pay it again here? probably not.... The cake itself was yummmmy....darn good...and the whipped cream was more than a splash - appreciative :) Definitely 3-star worthy... The presentation and price point kind of threw me. I took a tiny bite other than that - this is how it was served (kind of in pieces).

Their drink selection is much better than several of the comparable local restaurants, and their prices are reasonable. Finally, their service is always excellent, with polite hostesses and servers. I'd recommend Frix's Fire Grill to anyone looking for a good dining out experience.

Every single person enjoyed their meal and I had some very picky people with me. The portions are always very large and presented very nicely on the plate. We had two chicken Cobb salads, which were excellent, probably the best salad I've had on Kent Island in a really long time; chicken quesadilla; cheesesteak; club sandwich; and a hamburger. There were many tables filled when we came in, which makes me happy. This is our new favorite place to come for lunch or even a low key dinner. I've had the clam strips and the shrimp salad wrap before and both were very good. I wish I had pictures to share, but I failed to take any. Next time I will get some photos and update my review. Our server was super friendly and provided very good service. Our food took a little while to come out but that was because my brother-in-law always has to order a well done burger and it was not an excessive wait. This is a good place to come and watch a game and chat with friends or family. It's not a fancy place, but it's your typical hometown bar but with much better food in my opinion. A few months ago I came for trivia on a Monday night and it was a fun time. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

The grapefruit crush lacked flavor and was sent back. The fried pickles were scrumptious. We ordered French Dip with sweet potato fries and the Classic Reuben with onion rings. The French Dip while loaded with meat tasted bland. The dip was bland as well. The sweet potato fries were ok. The Classic Reuben was good, with plenty of substance. The onion rings were over cooked and almost burnt. Whomever prepared the onion rings should've seen they were over cooked and made more. Overall it was an ok dining experience.

Hubby's dish was more exciting than mine. He loves pancakes. My eggs tasted industrial but it could have been because they were cold. The first hash browns were undercooked. The second plate was browner on the outside but still not fully cooked inside. The grits were not part of the special but grits make life richer- just not these. For $3.99 the portion should have been large. But I got my grits on. They made up for the so-so plate. But don't feel sorry for us. We stopped on our way to the beach.

Such a disappointing experience. I recently visited the…read moreIHOP on Abruzzi Dr. and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While our waiter was attentive and informative, which I appreciated, the overall service fell short. After enjoying our meal, we found ourselves waiting an unreasonable amount of time for the check, to the point where we had to ask for it ourselves. As for the food, it was quite disappointing. I ordered my eggs over easy, but they arrived so undercooked that they had the consistency of snot--definitely not what I was expecting. The grits were similarly underwhelming; they were gritty and poorly prepared. To top it all off, my order came with bacon that I didn't even ask for. It's clear to me why more IHOP locations are closing. Based on this experience, I can't give this establishment more than 1 star and I won't be returning anytime soon.

BLUF: Feels a bit off the beaten path and has great views and good food at reasonable prices…read more Dock House Restaurant is great! I've visited twice recently and I really enjoyed the scenic views and extensive menu. Both times I have sat outside which was in the shade and comfortable, even on the hottest days of the season. Watching the boat traffic come in go - everything from kayakers to yachters makes for an entertaining meal. Speaking of meals, I've now tried a handful or so items on the menu. Favorites so far are the Flounder Sandwich and potato skins topped with crab dip. The burger was good too. The halibut tacos and crab bruschetta are a pass for me. Service has been great at the Dock House. The servers have to walk fairly far from the kitchen to the dockside tables and they maintain great service. Kudos to them. Speaking of dock, there is space to dock boats parallel to the bulkhead. Several small to mid-size boats were there both times I visited. I looked to see if there was a sign about the depth or rules for docking there and I didn't see anything. What I have observed is there isn't a dock hand and it's not protected so it can get a little bit of chop. A few boaters were just hanging out on their boat listening to the live music so they didn't seem to mind getting jostled when larger traffic comes through the channel. For those with land yachts or a car, there is plenty of parking and it's easy to get here right off of US-50, assuming there isn't "beach traffic." Dock House is located on the back side of the Boatel that is visible from US-50. Dock House is absolutely one of my new favorite restaurants in the Annapolis area. I am looking forward to many return trips to Kent Island to continue working my way through the menu.
