I've been to the Chick Fil-A two or three times right off US 50 in Queen Anne's County on the way to Eastern MD & DE. Always great friendly customer service per the typical standard. I visited in June 2017 and even WiFi as it was a work day and was traveling. I likely had unhealthy but delicious #1 Chicken Sandwich & waffle fries and perhaps a sweet tea. My most recent visit was today. In an effort to eat healthy, I went here for a salad. They have 3 varieties of salad. I got the Cobb salad, but no bacon for a couple of reasons. I asked if I could get a little more chicken, and the cashier didn't know how to do that. He said he could do more egg, but then the price went up, which I pointed out. I said the more egg was in lieu of the bacon. And he didn't know how to do that. I asked for the manager. The manager was very nice, and she was able to add the extra chicken on the house. She decided because it was a hassle getting my order, she would give me the whole salad on the house! This was enough to push it to the 5-star mark from 3 or 4. The only thing was that they did the grilled strips, but the nuggets. I wanted all grilled strips as I was trying to avoid the breading. I picked some breading off, ate some, and left a bit behind too. I didn't want to go up because they were slammed at lunchtime, didn't want them to waste the food, would've wasted my time, and I had gotten the salad free. Don't even need to mention how bad they messed up our order and the required number of revisits to the counter to try to get it right. Terrible establishment, I was received with the most fake friendly customer service of my life. The day I arrived they were busy outside but not in the restaurant. Instantly I felt rushed to order because one man was behind me. Once I ordered I stayed around the front. I was stared at as if I didn't belong and was treated as if I didn't exist. I felt like they were being very racist towards me, I saw the gentleman that was at the counter taking orders serve a table with drinks and food meanwhile my food was ready and placed on the front to go area without telling me. I'm sitting in a table waiting while that same employee purposefully stared at me while I was supposedly waiting for my food that had been sitting there. I haven't been treated so obviously different to everyone else in this restaurant. I just hope this isn't how they regularly treat people of color. So disappointed. The food was no better, tasted nasty and didn't give me any straw, napkin, ketchup for my fries. Very poor customer service and overall treatment of another human being. I like to stop here after I finish driving across the bridge. But my last visit was definitely a disappointment. The ordering process was smooth. When I got up to the window to get my food I was told to move forward. Two cars were served before me and they had milkshakes. My ordered had, half-and-half, drinks and sandwiches with typical sides. And when I receive my food, all three of my drinks were incorrect and the food wasn't fresh for the minor inconvenience of making us wait later. I asked for half-and-half it was served unsweetened iced tea. Having an additional wait and being served the wrong item doesn't seem like the Chick-fil-A standard, and I was greatly disappointed. Every time I have come here since the pandemic is started, I get HALF BOX FULL OF FRIES and the other half is SAUCE CUPS In the menu it does not picture the container filled with sauce, it has it filled up to the top with fries. And this is with any size french fries I get, for some reason, half of the amount of fries I should receive get replaced by the sauce cups I get with my meal. I will first say the chick fila was slammed, we went through the drive threw, they forgot the gallon of sweet tea with our order, I had to go back in..... not a problem stuff happens. But I had to wait over 10 minutes for them to fix the mistake. It was chaos, they were too busy chatting up with other workers getting them millshakes and sauces, as I stood there waiting. Terrible experience. Walked in with my husband on vacation. Decided to come get a quick bite so came here to Chick Fil A! Walked in waited in line and wasn't sure if our customer Service rep was ready for us or not. She just stared at us and I asked if she was ready. She just knotted. We ordered our food and I could feel a strong feeling and sense that she wasn't to happy to help us. Once we finished ordering we thanked her and she gave us no response. Worst chick fil a ever! It all started in the drive thru when I pull up and the boy just stares at me.... Nothing was said.. hi how are you, can I get a name for the order, can I help you.... Nothing. So I started with hello, Kasey is the name on the order. He said "Billy you said".... Uhm not even close! Proceed with my order he asked if I wanted pup cups (I had my dogs in the car).. I told him only if they can give me lids. His reply was "I don't know just ask"... well okay sure. Get to the window and amongst four I had asked for lids they all rolled their eyes. Then everyone was staring instead of taking care of mine and others orders. Now a manager just happens to walk by and I asked to speak to him. He thought it was comical I asked for lids and told him his young kids working thought it was a hassle to put a lid on a cup. He laughed saying "I had to get more". That had nothing to do with the fact they rolled their eyes and huffed about a lid. The crazy thing is.... None of them personally have to pay for it. Or if it was a general side they woulda had to put a lid on it too. That's the service part of my trip here. The food. Another subject. Fries ice cold, extra pickles on my sandwich now means all pickles in a cup. "No lettuce on the sandwich"... means lettuce only on my sandwich. Never again to this one! read more

This place is more like a 3.5. It's a hit or miss. Food is not consistently good but they get it right 75% or the time. The workers are always friendly. My biggest complaint is that they ALWAYS skimp on the fries and use the fries container to package their sauces. This is a picture of medium fries once I removed the sauces from the container. I stopped here with friends on the way to a beach trip. As usual, all the staff were very friendly. My chicken sandwich was hot and fresh. I ordered a half vanilla and half strawberry milkshake, which they actually forgot about, so I waited around in the pickup line to remind them of it (as they had taken my table marker when they delivered the sandwich). But Ryan, behind the counter, gave me a promo card for my wait, which was a really nice gesture. It was torture. Fast forward 5 years, and I had sworn off Chick-fil-A; zero interest. I was hungry one day and an event was catered, including their spicy chicken sandwich (not available at the fake Chick-fil-A). It was so good! Which leads me to believe: if you're not hip to Chick-fil-A, either you haven't had the real thing, or we're not the same kind of people. Like, you might be a vegan, and that's cool. But if you're a chicken lover, you should be on it...you can taste the brining (saltiness). Also, lemonade! And they have a sugar-free version that's reportedly also rather refreshing. And then, they're so nice, it makes restaurant service seem lacking. I don't eat fast food often, but it's hard to pass up Chick-fil-A when the stars are aligned. read more

I want to make sure everyone understands I hate writing this. I wrote a 5 star review for them years ago and was very happy until the last year. I am not sure why they are handling the business this way but this is my opinion. They are 100% shut down inside and do not offer take out to car service anymore. All this would be fine if they ran their drive thru ok. They were the best but now between mistakes and long waits it's just not worth it to me anymore. I used to go daily when in town but now I sparingly go and it's usually very early in the morning. I just came back from there and my order is wrong. This place discriminates when hiring employees and then when you mention it on the help center on the website they don't do anything . I have tried multiple times to work at the company and the first time I was put against two other guy (me being the only female) and which the two guys then went to get the jobs , I never got a call for a second interview or anything . I then applied again and this time I thought the interview went good one and one but after being told that I would get a call in a couple days about a second interview or not but never did . I then brought it up about getting no phone call and then was told they would get touch with me later that day . Like a 3.5 because what I received was a tasty breakfast, but it wasn't what I ordered...... We stopped here for breakfast around 10am on a Saturday on our way to Rehoboth. The drive-through was about a mile long so we went inside, and were still met with a very long line. It was like the entire population of the area was at Chick-fil-A at this time. The line moved quickly though. The young kid that took our order was friendly, as all employees at Chick-fil-A seem to be. He informed us the coffee machine was broke so we just got two sandwiches-an egg white grill (grilled chicken, egg whites, american cheese on an english muffin) and a chicken, egg, and cheese bagel-to go. We got our orders in about 10 minutes and headed back to the car. I waited until we were driving to open my egg white grill and what I received was a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an english muffin. It wasn't a huge deal, and I was hungry so I ate it, but I guess I recommend checking your order before leaving, especially when they are as packed as they were that day. The chicken, egg, and cheese bagel was delivered as expected. The breakfast options for flavor and quality beat many fast food options, so I'd stop here again, but I'd check my order before leaving first. read more

FIRST the outside of was nasty. there was spilled things everywhere with it looked like no attempt to clean it up so we had to step around it. THEN when we walked into the restaurant they had an hour until closing but they were cleaning the floors and everything was wet and slippery i almost fell.
