It's been a while since I've been to Rude BBQ, and just happened to be nearby at lunch time, if you've never been, you're missing out! You can tell there's some good things happening inside as you approach as you can smell the smoke! There are some seats outside and only about 20 seats inside, but don't let that dissuade you. The pork, brisket, and chicken are all great. If you can't decide get a platter with a bit of each. The portions are good sized and the sides are delicious. I almost always get the pulled pork and use their Carolina style sauce. Mmmm good! Get yourself some!

Didn't expect much walking in, but those pork nachos hit way harder than i thought. Messy, smoky and gone in minutes. The rest was decent too - casual spot, chill crowd, no need to dress it up.

Well the name is a bit misleading, because they certainly weren't rude there! I got the jack & cherry coke slushee which was good but sooo filling. I wish I could've taken the rest to go. I couldn't finish it all. It was sweet, & could taste the jack but it wasn't strong. I got a pulled pork sandwich which was alright - meat was tender, & I enjoyed the various sauces. It either comes with chips or you can pay $5 for 2 sides. Inside is very casual - only 3 tables so not a great place if you're in a large group, but it's good for a quick bite.

Good bbq! They have a couple other restaurants on the block including a burger place that looks really good. Had the pulled pork sandwich, collard greens and baked beans. All were good. Pulled pork was a tad dry but with the sauce was fine. Highlight was actually the medium bbq and the swifty sauce, both were really really good.

Top-quality BBQ with drinks, attitude and wit! I had a brief business meeting in Easton, and wanted lunch before heading back across the Bay Bridge. I found Rude BBQ via their great reviews. What I found was beyond the usual BBQ place. The menu is carefully thought out. Aside from the usual brisket, pulled pork, chow in and ribs, they also have amazing pit beef. Their sample platter is the best place to start, but looked to heavy for me. I opted for the Pit Beef Sandwich with their crab chips. From the reactions of the diners around me, the "World-Famous Onion Rings" deserve their billing. Paired with their Smoked Ketchup (just one of their bespoke sauces), they vanished as quickly as they appeared. They also have a liquor license, and in addition to the usual suspects, serve signature "Mason jar" cocktails and freezes, along with choice microbrews from all over Maryland. They made their bones by delivering - literally - their excellent food in Talbot County during the COVID lockdown, which occurred right after they had opened. Now, Rude BBQ is part of a growing portfolio of unique properties, including Rude Burgers across the street, and Rise Up Coffee Roasters down the block. I've had a LOT of BBQ in my life, and I live in a BBQ-rich area. But Rude BBQ makes me want to cross the Bay Bridge again. A lot more often.

I'm not a barbecue expert, but neither am I a barbecue snob. We managed to try a little bit of everything thanks to the sampler plate and six (!) different sauce bottles available on the table, and while I have a hard time classifying this place -- they had Carolina and Memphis - style sauces -- I think that's perhaps the point. The spicy sauces were unique -- we spent a long time trying to put our finger on the magic extra ingredient and really couldn't quite come up with it other than that it was not excessively sweet, wasn't that hot on the old Scoville scale, but had a pretty interesting combination of flavors. The sweet sauce was just that, but just a tetch too sweet. I wasn't enraptured by the cole slaw, but I appreciate they do something original with it, and my two dining partners thought it was great. We also noshed on the mac and cheese and kale sides, the former also a nice traditional side with something we couldn't quite put our finger on in the spicing, and the latter a nice update of the traditional greens. The food -- it's BBQ, it's a prepared food -- came out right away, and that's probably a good recommendation for a takeout place. We ate in (it's tiny) but got to linger over our beers. I can imagine in warmer weather it would have been great to hang around outside. I'm glad I don't live near Rude BBQ because I'd be going back so often I'd be broke and dead of arterioschlerosis in short order.

Excellent customer service. Brisket was tender and season to taste. Highly recommend it.

The only problem with Rude Burger is difficulty parking, but it's worth it! Either that or get it to go. Delicious and generous!

This is MY KIND OF PLACE!…read more Hubby was bored at Martinak and said *Let's go for a ride!*. I didn't want to let him down. So it just started out riding through the small areas of the Eastern Shore and a gas run. He asked me if I wanted to go get a coffee....I said no, let's find a pub or brewery. I consulted with my phone like all of us do these days and found 4 Dogs. Waze kind of messed us up, but it actually worked out because in our being turned around for a few minutes, we found another place that we will be returning to before the summer season starts to try out and I will review on that at some point. We pulled up to this very pleasant looking building with some dogs painted on it. We walked in and it was just this nice place with pool tables, some tables to sit at and of course a bar. We selected to sit at the bar. We were served by Chris who was just fantastic and makes a great orange crush. The vibe is just so nice in the pub, just the way I like it. You can hear yourself think, you can talk to your partner without screaming, yet there is music playing and laughter....it's just a nice friendly place. We ordered a Hot Honey Old Bay order of wings as we were going back to our campsite to have dinner. Would for sure order these again. They were meaty, and the sauce was sticking to the wing, not laying all over the basket. Very impressed with the taste. We thought the drinks were a great price, but then living in the Baltimore area, we get hammered on price here when we go out, which is why more often than not, hubby makes our drinks at home these days.....but this is a nice little place in the town of Easton which looks like it has a bunch of hidden little gems and we are going to take another trip down soon! Really enjoyed our time at this pub!
