They're very generous with the fries here! I mean I used to think all Five Guys did that but recently I went to a location that barely gave me any fries. I never finish them all but that's besides the point! After visiting a nearby winery my friend and I were starving so we ended up here. My burger was very good and not just because I was starving! Five Guys has been here for years and my family has gone for there food. But today IDK what the hell happened. I tried to order food over the phone because the app was being a pain. The guy who picked up the phone was being vulgar, and I honestly lost my appetite I should've got his name and reported him for being a jerk. But if this is the type of people Five Guys Kent Island is hiring, then I will avoid this Five Guys location altogether. I am very kind and respectful to people in the food industry as my best friend is a sever, and my cousin works as a cashier at a Panera Bread location. Forgot the cheese on my burger. Not just once but the two times I have went there. How is possible to forget the cheese on a CHEESEburger.

Typical burgers and fries but I come here for the hotdogs! Yes, they have the most delicious kosher dog. I love well done and to accompany it I go with the little fry. Five Guys loves to give u what seems like an endless amount of fries! They are greasy bag of deliciousness! They have mobile ordering which is good but each time I come here I'm immediately greeted and while the place has a steady flow of business generally you can find a seat. I tried to order a hotdog for my kid not cut up and was told no, they don't want to open a fresh package of hotdogs. I guess this location only servers old hotdogs. They just lost another customer. read more

The food is greasy like everything that they have is just grease, they are always packed which is a great thing for them but on the other hand as a customer it is a little frustrating when you spend 30 minutes of your hour lunch waiting for your food. read more

This place is disgusting. The food is as good as any 5 Guys, but the restaurant is gross. There were only a handful of patrons in there for lunch and no tables were clean. I got my lunch, ate, and went to the restroom and found it was just as gross. And worse: the soap dispenser was broken. How do employees wash their hands when the soap dispenser is broken!?! Oh, they probably don't. I watched a lady "clean" the tables and she had taken a wad of paper towels to wipe the crumbs off. That does not sanitize the tables. When I left there were no patrons and 5 people behind the counter none of them tending to the cleanliness is the facility. Just. Don't go. Yuck! read more

The Five Guys chain is growing fast. If you haven't tried it yet, you inevitably will, these things are popping up like weeds. What you get in a five guys is an excellent, completely fresh and deliciousness-packed burger. Don't expect an In-N-Out... Five Guys is it's own thing. Similar idea though: 1950s diner-ish feel, red and white color scheme, highly simplistic menu. A bit pricier than fast food, but much higher quality. My advise: get the burger, skip the fries. They proudly display their fresh potatoes for all to see, including a chalk board on which they inscribe the name and location of the actual farm where that particular batch of spuds are sprung. That being said, the fries were super thick, soggy and limp, and tasted a bit raw. They come in gigantic cups, and two people could easily share a small. Not that you should, they were gross. The burgers, on the other hand, were some tasty gut bombs. They have about 20 toppings that you can choose for them to throw on, so every burger is completely customizable. A bit pricey, but really one of these things is an entire meal in itself. Check the calorie count, I dare you. The main thing I want to emphasize with this location is it's location. While it's very visible from highway 50, reaching this place is almost impossible. You either have to drive through about 10 parking lots to get there, or through several miles of rural residential streets, and it's completely inconvenient to get here off the highway coming from the East. And the West. Pretty much any direction. This is the worst location for a business I've ever seen. Other criticisms I have for Five Guys is: -It's take-out only (despite having a large seating area), why not offer "for here" -They don't serve milkshakes -The garbage cans were overflowing (it's new- management wasn't on their game that night) read more

The burgers are good but a bit on the pricey side. I never get the fries because they don't have a children's size. Maybe that's not a complaint for most people because who wouldn't want more? I'd just like to see a smaller portion, even if you're sharing. But the burgers are good. I gave it a 3 mainly because of the prices. It is very clean and the staff is wonderful!! read more

Decent. Their burgers and fries are pretty good most of the time. I have not had their hot dogs. Milk shakes are good too. The staff is nice every time I've been there. My only not great experience is when I ordered the grilled cheese. Granted they're known for burgers and not grilled cheese. However, I was craving a grilled cheese, hadn't gone grocery shopping and figured they make 3 types of sandwiches (burgers, hot dogs and grilled cheese) so chances are it would be fairly good. My only requirement is that the cheese be pasteurized and it satisfy my grilled cheese craving. It met those requirements but not something I'd recommend you go out of your way to order. It was literally an inside out burger bun with half melted cheese on the inside. So I recommend not deviating from the norm here and just get a burger. read more

What a disappointment! I have been at other 5 Guys and found their hamburgers to be delicious. Not so in this locale. The bun was not terribly fresh and rather large compared to the skimpy, overcooked and pathetic hamburger patty it enclosed. The bun had a small bit of catsup on one side and an even smaller spread of mayo on the other. There were plenty of pickles, I think an attempt to cover the lack of taste of everything else. The only good news was the delicious peanuts. Either the whole chain of these restaurants has lost its touch or this particular one is doing something terribly wrong. read more

We love 5 Guys, but at this location, our experience hasn't been good. Our last three consecutive visits resulted in our burgers being extremely over cooked (thin, dry and hard). With limited options on this side of the bridge, I decided to mentioned it to our order taker at last nights visit and asked her if she could please tell the cook to not over cook them this time. She just looked at me and said "yeah, sure"...but I watched her and she never said anything to anyone and looked as if she could care less and once again our burgers were dry and over cooked! Just Unreal. When spending almost $20 for 2 burgers and one small fry, this is just unacceptable! As I said, we love 5 Guys, but this franchise location has to be the worst! Obviously it's not being managed properly and the owner isn't involved in monitoring the quality of output. We won't return again. What a shame read more

Called in an order, the girl on the phone asked that I pay ahead. I explained that my husband was on Kent Island and he was picking it up and paying. I did not have my card. She said that it really was not policy, but she would let us order. Great! . I was willing to order from somewhere else when she said I had to pay ahead, but she convinced me that it was okay. But then, my husband walked in to pay, a guy from the back came out and proceeded to yell at him making a scene. My husband had no idea what he was even talking about. ( He assumed he was a manger or supervisor of some sort) Apparently the girl said that I hung up before paying, probably to save her own butt from the ignorant manager. My husband was so angry and embarrassed. It was not handled well at all!! We definitely will NEVER go back. Food was good, but not worth the hassle. read more

Always enjoy this place! However, try not to go in late... I walked in 45 minutes before close and received dirty looks from a few of the employees. Guy at the register was nice. The woman cooking the burgers didn't even try to hide that she was pissed we came in. I could understand if it was 5-10 minutes before close, but 45 minutes? Really? My family has always loved five guys. This one is terrible. The Last trip i made we got Fries that were still hard and dripping with grease And All of our burgers were Raw. The person who took my order was more interested in talking to co-workers than dealing with me. I was going to complain then realized the person who took my order was the manager. Inside was okay for a typical fast food restaurant. No different then your local Burger King. However they put the French fries in the bottom of the bag....They aren't in a separate bag, or cup, or container. Just thrown in the bottom of the bag and your burgers are piled on top. This makes for a very greasy bag to travel with, Gross!!! Maybe this is okay for some but not for me. They have containers to put the fries in but choose not to use them. I know this because I asked for a small fry for my daughter not knowing French fries came with the meals, because it doesn't specify it on the menu. The separate order of fries came in a cup. The fries that came with the meal were all in the bottom of the bag, under the burgers. It was obviously my first time there since I was unfamiliar with there standard. First and last time there.
