The food was amazing. The chili fries were so good me and my husband wanted more and great service. Will come again

If you find yourself driving along Highway 27 through Branford, Florida, and you spot a modest building sitting right at the T-junction of 27 and US 129, do yourself a favor and pull in. Burger Heaven on 27 might not announce itself with flashy signage or a sprawling parking lot, but what it lacks in curb appeal, it more than makes up for in heart, flavor, and that increasingly rare commodity: genuine small-town hospitality. My first impression was shaped almost entirely by location. Branford isn't a place you stumble into by accident unless you're passing through on your way to the Suwannee River, and the restaurant's spot at the T-junction gives it a kind of quiet prominence. It's not hidden, exactly, but it also doesn't scream for attention. It simply sits there, patiently, like it's been doing for years, waiting for hungry travelers and loyal locals alike to come through the door. And come through the door they do. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted warmly by the staff, the kind of greeting that feels less like customer service script and more like someone genuinely happy you walked in. That warmth set the tone for the whole meal. The interior seating area is small, there's no getting around that, so if you're hoping for a sprawling dining room with dozens of tables, you'll want to adjust your expectations. But the coziness works in the restaurant's favor. It gives the place an intimate, lived-in feel, the kind of spot where regulars have their favorite booth and the staff probably knows their order before they say a word. There was an unmistakable "locals" vibe permeating the whole space, the easy chatter between tables, the familiarity in how people interacted with the staff, the sense that I had wandered into a community fixture rather than just another roadside burger joint. That atmosphere alone is worth experiencing, especially if you enjoy restaurants that feel like they have a pulse and a personality rather than a corporate template. Now, onto the food, because ultimately that's why you're here. I ordered a double cheeseburger, a BLT, and a side of fries, essentially putting the kitchen through a nice little test of their range. The double cheeseburger delivered exactly what you want from a place with "Burger" in its name. The patties were well-seasoned, the cheese melted into every crevice rather than just sitting as an afterthought on top, and the overall construction held together without falling apart halfway through the first bite, which, if you've eaten enough double burgers in your life, you know is not always a guarantee. It had that satisfying char and juiciness that separates a memorable burger from a forgettable one. The BLT was decent, but be aware that it is served on a bun rather than traditional sandwich bread. I wasn't sure what to expect from that swap, but it worked beautifully. It was less like a classic diner BLT and more like a bacon-forward burger's cousin, which honestly made it feel right at home on a menu dominated by burgers. If you're a BLT purist who insists on toasted white bread, you might raise an eyebrow, but I'd encourage you to give this version a chance. It's a clever little twist that fits the restaurant's identity. Unfortunately, not everything hit the same high note. The fries, which should be the easy, reliable sidekick to a great burger, came out overcooked. It wasn't a dealbreaker by any means, but it was a noticeable dip in quality compared to the care evident in the burger and sandwich. A kitchen that clearly knows how to handle beef and bacon with precision should be able to nail fries with the same consistency, so this felt like a missed opportunity rather than a fundamental flaw. Still, one imperfect side dish isn't enough to undercut an otherwise strong showing. Burger Heaven on 27 earns its keep through solid, satisfying food and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been let in on a local secret. The location at the T-junction might seem unremarkable at first glance, but it's become a landmark of sorts for the Branford community, and after one visit, it's easy to understand why. The seating may be limited and the fries may need a little attention, but the burgers are excellent, the BLT is a clever variation worth trying, and the welcome you receive at the door makes the whole experience feel personal rather than transactional. If you're ever passing through Branford on Highway 27, don't let the modest exterior fool you. Pull in, grab a seat if you can find one, and order that double cheeseburger. Just maybe ask them to keep an eye on the fryer. read more

Burger Heaven On 27 - Burgers Near Me - Branford, Florida

I ate breakfast/lunch here twice this last weekend. It's a tiny place, with four four-person tables inside and one more outside, plus drive-thru service (which was bus-y!) The menu is not long, but covers breakfast sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and sides. First day I had a chili cheese dog and cheese curds. The dog was good, not a little wimpy guy, plenty of chili, I could have used more cheese. The cheese curds were outstanding (though not Wisconsin authentic: these guys were melty inside), crunchy (though very lightly breaded) on the outside, with a choice of dipping sauces. They were so good I got another order the next day along with my Country Kick sandwich (sausage, egg and cheese on a biscuit.) The biscuit was very good, not dry and crumbly like many southern biscuits, and reasonably big, a good 4" in diameter. Order at the counter, they bring your food to you, clean up after yourself. Ambiance is small-town warmth. read more

Made a quick stop in at "Branford Burger Heaven" on 27, in Branford, Florida, last night for a quick meal. I had the ham and cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries, while my wife had a chili dog. We went through the drive-through,then parked and ate meal on the bench out front. The food was good and served hot. The only complaint would be the interior from the outside appeared dark, so we didn't notice there was seating inside until after our meal. No complaints on the food. The service from the window was great and the portions were adequate. Eating outside wasn't bad just a little cool because of weather. I will definitely come back again, but next time I will remember there are a few tables inside. read more

Good if slightly greasy burgers, good fries. Nothing fancy, mostly doing their business in take-out and mostly high school kids working and customers the day I was there. Nothing fancy, interior even seems slightly run-down though not terribly old I think but the food was solid with fair prices. read more

Excellent Burgers, I've had them 2 days in a row. Burger was great fries were pretty good but the sweet potato fries with a pinch of added salt were the highlight of my meal. Very crispy and subtle flavors! They were pretty busy, so it took a little while for the food to come out but nothing to complain about. Inside is comfortable for 2-4 people and we will probably come back tomorrow read more

Great burgers, hot dogs, biscuits, and tasty extras like cheese curds, chili cheese fries, and okra! Extra-courteous staff, offering sit-down dining or a speedy pick-up window. Extra points for a relaxing dining area with nature videos on the big screen TV, and a pleasant and clean restroom. And the prices are very-reasonable, especially considering all of the fresh sandwich ingredients. read more

2nd visit, and first one wasn't a one off! Burgers are amazing. They taste fresh, not frozen and cooked to order. The toppings are also fresh and high quality..an oddity in today's market. Bev's Burgers was our fav burger joint , but we have a new contender. Well done read more

The burger was amazing. The service was a little slow. But that's fine! Only thing I didn't like was my cheese stick/curds. Were frozen and got fried and it was one big lump. read more

How about food that taste and looks like a burger. This burger is so thin, looks like a Krystal burger. I went once and won't go back. Also they're charging too much for the this pitiful burger. The owner doesn't have the knowledge to run this place nor the restaurant he also owns. He just doesn't know what he is doing. Pitiful read more
