There is a walk up order window. And a drive thru on both sides of the building. We ordered burgers and a large fry. The burgers had great flavors and the fries had that crisp crunch and really good flavor. The wife ordered a cookies and cream milkshake after we ate at the picnic tables located next to the business. It's delicious. read more

Diamond in the rough! I was looking for a place to eat and use the restroom and saw this on Yelp. We didn't realize you could go in because it looked like drive through only, which was fine. We got in line and while it took a long time (so if you are in a hurry don't stop during lunchtime!) the food was delicious!! The burger was very fresh and juicy and the fries tasted like they were fries in something that would cook pastries! Very flavorful! So glad we took a chance on this place! Will definitely stop again on our journeys to Tallahassee (I only wish we had discovered it years ago!) read more

I absolutely love coming to Ralph's! I was first introduced to this local spot a few years ago, and I will always make it a point to stop each time I find myself visiting the area. Truthfully, there is not too much to this place. The restaurant is primarily drive-thru, having two lanes on each side of the building. There is also a walk-up window at the front that you can order at as well. They have a breakfast menu that is served until 11AM, and then their regular lunch and dinner menu available for the rest of the day following. On a typical visit, I find myself stopping here for breakfast. There are several options, but my absolute favorite is the Sausage, Egg and Cheese with Double Meat. One thing to note is that their breakfast sandwiches come on hamburger buns, instead of something like a bagel or a biscuit. It makes them unique, and truthfully one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches of all time. Their fountain drinks are the best, as I can never visit without getting a nice, crispy Diet Coke to sip on. Also, I have had their milkshakes, and they are a delight! I would recommend mixing the Oreo and the Peanut Butter - yum! Personally, I feel this place has an excellent value for the price. For two people to eat breakfast and get drinks, we usually spend around $16 dollars. We typically switch up exactly what we get, so it's always different, but I always think that it is a great value no matter what. Recently, they have implemented a 3.5% fee for using a credit card, so I would recommend paying in cash to avoid the fee if possible. The staff here is always friendly and hospitable. It seems like they retain a lot of staff and they usually work the same shifts, so they get to recognizing their customers and knowing them. Even with operating a drive-thru and wanting to likely get customers through, they still take the time to converse and provide a great experience. The owner is very friendly, and you can tell he takes great pride in both the establishment and the customer experience. I am not local to the Chiefland area, but I look forward to eating at Ralph's each time I come to town. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quick bite to eat, with excellent customer service, and all for a great value. read more

It's been about a year since I've driven through this area and popped in. I'll keep this short and sweet, their burgers are one of the best I've ever had. So fresh and delicious and cheesy. Hand cut fries as well, the service is excellent but be prepared to wait a bit during the lunch hour but well worth it. Drive through only but if you're in Chiefland Fl, you must try it out. read more

Best burger in Chiefland, service is fast, drive thru only. Their bbq sauce is good on everything.

Bacon burger was fantastic. Quick service. Ice cream machine was down. Maybe next time.

If you're heading north this is definitely the place to stop over some fast food joint. Cheap, delicious and fast!! Love it :)

It's freshly cooked mostly from frozen, greasy, not the best but you still keep coming back for more. Last time I came in they served me half a bag of hash-brown's for full price... read more

This was my first time eating at Ralph's Burger House and I wasn't disappointed! Everything was excellent and nice sized burger unlike the fast food joints do. You definitely get your money's worth! This place is setback off the road and not on the main drag which passes through Chiefland, FL so a bit harder to find for people just driving through but easy access for regular cars and pickup trucks. It's a drive though burger joint but also has a walkup window for walkup orders. Very friendly staff who work quickly to fill the orders. They have a small parking area with a few picnic tables if you don't want to eat in your car. It's right next to Circle K so easy access either way. read more

Great food, we loved the local history . We met the owner who was really nice. Drive thru and picnic tables.

Excellent burgers. There is drive thru and walk up window. Great shakes too. Everything tastes fresh.

Great burgers and breakfast sandwiches. Real friendly and quick service. Here for a month and ate there six times.

Picked up food there many times. Burgers are great as are the onion rings. Breakfast platter was a bit greasy. This may sound odd but my favorite from there is their unsweet ice tea. I don't know if it is brewed on site or is brought in as a concentrate. Either way, it is delicious. read more

Hidden gem! Drive through here all the time and had never tried it, now I'm mad about what I've missed out on all these years. The best burgers anywhere around, juicy, hot, and big. Fries were hot and crispy. Definitely must try when in Chiefland. read more

Great burger place, drive thru only, no inside area or walk up window for now. Delicious hamburgers, made to order. Fries were nice and hot and good! With the long lines, I thought there must be something special. The fries were ok, the shake ok, the burger just ok. I'd say it was the lack of seasoning, beefiness and density of the burger that make it so. read more

Kindest and most helpful staff ever! Enjoyed my burger, fries, and shake which were made fresh. I will be back!

I had a burger. It was very good quality and much better than the chains. Try to buy from this mom and Pop place.

Great burger served up by friendly staff in a short period of time. Fresh fries and outstanding shake!

Just freakin AMAZINGGGGGGG. We went to Ginny Springs and without a doubt THIS WAS 10X BETTER. Oh my, ding dang. It's SO Cheap, it's SO delish, it's so CLASSIC. I could go on for days, but I live 1200 miles away and I am wondering if it's irrational to plan a vacation around a burger joint? No, I don't think so either. Just go. Don't even worry about Ginny Springs, just pack the kids up, and camp out in this flippin parking lot. The end. read more

Great spot to meet our FSU crew halfway between Tallahassee and Tampa. Burgers tasty and old fashioned crispy fries also excellent. Only bummer was the lovely picnic table area (which was great for our pup too!) had sooo many ants that we had to give up after about 20 minutes. read more

A local favorite that commonly has a line of cars at the drive thru. My first time here was awhile ago and I just remember thinking the burgers were ok but after reading so many 4 and 5-star reviews I decided to come back. Unfortunately I had a bad experience the second time around and I don't want it to come across like that's the reason I'm rating it low. Rating mostly reflects the food. I do want to mention the bad experience because I think it's worth noting. There are two sides to the drive thru. We were in the right lane behind only one car. An employee poked her head out of the front window to take our order to move things along quicker. It was super awkward though as the front window was nowhere near our car and my husband who was driving had to yell our order to her. He happens to have laryngitis which he tried explaining to her but she still stood pen in hand waiting for us to scream our order across a wide space. I ended up having to yell our order from the passenger side which I found awkward and embarrassing. We finally get up to the order window and the lady who handed us our drinks was super nice. Drove up to the second window and another lady handed us our food. She repeated our order to us which was two quarter pounders with cheese, mustard, pickles and onions and onion rings. When we parked the car to eat our burgers, I found only one burger in the bag. Now we paid with a 20 and got 6 in change so I knew we had paid for two burgers. By now the line of cars was long so we walked up to the front window. Luckily the woman remembered we ordered two because the cook was arguing there had only been one. Finally! We received our second burger. Y'all 4 and 5-star reviewers... I'd love to know what you ordered. The burgers tasted mostly of pickles. Incredibly mediocre at best. The onion rings were good, not great. My husband got McDonald's and ate both quarter pounders and preferred McDonald's. read more

I asked for well done burger and it came out Med-nasty. Even the staff repeated my order to me and quoted me as saying "Well done burger and large fries." Yes, that's what I wanted. I was eating my burger while driving and was already 2 miles away did not have time to turn around and bring it back for a refund. Even the fries were under cooked. read more

We where passing through and saw the 4.5 stars and thought this must be great. Two lines where long and the wait took forever (40minutes around noon on a Saturday)so we knew this had to be good. And fresh! Nope frozen prepattied burgers you get in the box type like at Walmart. They read our order back to us at order and before giving us our food but still missed my kiddos chicken nuggets. We called to get the refund and the First Lady on the phone was rude and short. The Second Lady said she would have to call a manger and didn't know how to do that. Not a big deal, about $4 but hey they should know how to issue a refund. Just a heads up before you pull in and are expecting great fresh burgers and fries. Food is subpar at best. read more

My first time eating at the Burger House and I must say it was very good. The french fries were so hot that I had to wait for them to cool down in my burger taste very fresh. I had the quarter pound hamburger, small fry plus a large lemonade and it was only $6.75. It is drive-through only but has ample parking and picnic tables outside to sit and enjoy your lunch. The lady at the window said that they have been here 40 years and definitely have the process down. I will definitely come back! read more
