Was okaay. Decent enough burger, just don't think it was fresh or cooked to order is all; came out too fast for that, assembled to order maybe. Was barely warm. Onion rings were nice. Those were fresh and hot and there were plenty of them. Coke wasn't flat but also wasn't biting or sharp. Sort of reminded me of old skool movie theater soda. Was better with rum at home. And not unlike other reviewers, noting hospitality here isn't going to win them any awards. Sufficiently sufficient, not friendly or unfriendly, perfunctory. I did get everything I ordered and napkins and ketchup without asking. That's something. Those onion rings are worth coming back for. Maybe give the burger one more try. read more

It was a rainy Sunday, but I had decided to go out for a motorcycle ride anyway. When I left the house it was still clear, but by the time I got out to Trenton it was starting to rain. I pulled into the parking lot of Burger Spot and got under the eaves at the front of the building just in time, because it was then that the heavens above started to really let loose! Fortunately, there was food available, so I ordered some burgers and a chicken sandwich, along with some fries. Sitting on the bench outside, under the eaves so I didn't get wet, I guess I was fortunate that the front of the building was in the lee of the wind, as it was howling! I watched as cars lined up and slowly moved through the drive-thru lane and the puddles started to get larger and larger... it really gets deep on SR-26 right outside of the store, as trucks going by would throw up huge sheets of water when they would run through it. My food came through after it had been cooked. They cook everything to order, so it is going to take some time for your food to come out. As it was still raining, I chose to eat the chicken sandwich right there in front of the store. The rain started to calm down, so I packed the rest of my meal up and got on the bike to ride home. Sort of went the long way, and by the time I was home I was thoroughly soaked. However, I knew that I had the rest of my food ready to go, and that was nice to look forward to. The food? Well, the burgers are quite good... always have been. The chicken sandwich was a new one for me, and it was alright... next time I think I would ask for it to be grilled instead of deep fried, just to see if it gets better. The fries are not all that great once they get cold, but a quick run in the microwave brought them right back to life, and I was happy with them as well. read more

If the burger patties were thicker I'd give them a 5 star rating. I don't like to eat at chain restaurants while traveling. I found this place along the road. Double drive thru windows and a walk up window. Everything a la carts but appropriately priced. Do yourself a favor though and get double patty on your burger. They were generous with the bacon so should raise the rating to a 4.5 stars for that the all teen staff was friendly and hardworking. Chicken sandwich can be ordered fried or grilled. French fries are like mc Donald's fries, onion rings were great. There's a few picnic tables scattered around if you want to sit out there and eat, and access to restrooms. read more

Burgers were as good as any fast food restaurant. Fries were a little soggy but they were salted and we ate them all. Onion rings were good. I would stop here again if I was in Trenton rather than going to a chain. The picnic tables were nice and shaded and it looks like the people who own the place are trying to keep it up. read more

WHAT HAPPENED?? I love me some Burger Spot BUT in the last 6-8 months the service is so SLOW (like 45min one time), fries are SOGGY, and overall food quality has suffered. The slow service is by far the most noticeable. I leave this comment constructively because I truly want this business to succeed.....it's sad to see a place like this slowly go downhill when it has SO MUCH potential! I recently had the shrimp and onion rings from this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised, everything was cooked excellently! The shrimp was excellent and not greasy. The onion rings were cooked perfectly and also not greasy. Today I stopped at their Bell location for a burger...it was love at first bite! I highly recommend The Burger Spot. When we walked thru the door of The Burger Spot we were quickly greeted. We tried the slaw dogs (first timers), kids cheeseburger and fries. Our order came out in less than 5 minutes. Very prompt! Great little burger spot we went there on a whim when our kids were starting to get hangry. The staff were polite and happy to serve us and the food came out fast through the drive through. Burgers were better than any McDonalds we've been to and the fries were crispy and salty and a little thicker cut than chain fast food joints. We enjoyed them tremendously!! And the onion rings WOW yum! Great little spot to grab a quick bite for the family. Both the cleanest looking place from the exterior but from what we could see it was clean inside. Good 'ol side-of-the-road burger stand. These guys do it right. Fresh meat, flattened and cooked on a flat-top while you wait, makes for a real good burger. A lot better then 'fast food'. The have a whole slew of burgers, sandwiches, sides, and drinks. And if you're in the mood for breakfast, don't pass by. Any time of the day, they'll fresh cook you a breakfast scramble, that seems to be 4 or 5 eggs, plus onion, cheese, and bacon or sausage or ham, all scrambled with some salt and pepper.
