Personal (8") Margarita Pie with seasoned mushrooms and fresh garlic. Great!
Scott R.

The decor was interesting, dining room, small, but not cramped small, just not a large space but comfortable- especially the padded chairs-loved those, and could probably seat around 20 guests. The person taking our order and making our food was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, thoughtful and makes delicious pizza. They also checked on us a couple of times while we were eating. We will definitely stop by again when we're in the area.

Prohibition Pizza is a good option for a meal in the small city of High Springs, Florida. Prohibition Pizza has a great ambiance and the service was friendly and professional. High Springs is very fortunate to have Prohibition Pizza as part of its community. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Well, I came across this Pizza spot during a internet search. Had never heard of it, so I figured, why not? Took a nice Sunday drive in the afternoon to go out and try it. We were met by friendly staff. You place your order at the counter. could get it either, just sit down at 1 of their tables or they have some outdoor seating, or you can take it to go which while we were there there were numerous people coming to pick up to go orders. So that was a good sign. We got the pretzel for an appetizer, that thing was huge! We got the Margarita Pizza, which also while we were there. Three more people had ordered the same pizza, so it must be one of their more popular pizzas. Now there is no table service, so their only drink option is either bottled sodas or waters with some select bottled beers. They have a lot of historic décor in the building as that area of High springs is part of the historic area. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of gainesville, prohibition pizza is the spot to check out

This is the best pizza I've ever had, I think it was brick oven pizza it had a nice crust and sauce was really good and you tell it's fresh house made sauce !!! Everyone was super nice and didn't kick us out at close we were there about 30 past 9 (sorry), this is my one and only pizza place now. I can't wait to bring my husband here and anyone else I know I'm telling them to come here ! The inside is really pretty too, comfy beautiful chairs, nice bathroom, I came on Halloween night with my sis and her family and we were just blown away ! We will be back !

The Dillinger

Their pizza is always amazing!! I've tried several different topping combos and they never disappoint. Pictured in the photo is the Dillinger - vodka sauce, mozzarella, provolone, sliced meatballs, caramelized onions, jalapeños, ricotta and hot honey. The honey really makes it a stand out! The Bad Betty dessert is also to die for! Absolute must have food when in High Springs. The small is a perfect size for one.

I was here because I was across the street at High Springs Brewing and wanted dinner. Already parked, already hungry, already starting my first beer. What to eat? And then, the "sandwich board" in the entrance got me and I didn't even have to look at the menu. The combination of ingredients just had me. The Dillinger which is "Vodka sauce, mozzarella & provolone cheese with sliced meatballs, bacon, caramelized onions, jalapenos, ricotta dollops finished with hot honey drizzle." About 15 minutes after ordering (and after my first beer was done), I was back over here to pick it up. Perfection. Spicy, meaty, cheesy, simply delicious. The underground pizza is to die for. The theme of the place ties in perfectly for a great atmosphere. We visited on a home-buying trip from Maryland. I grew up in the Northeast around the Philadelphia area, and this was by far the best pizza I've ever had. This place is Florida's hidden gem!

Blue Bomb pizza--delicious!

Very unique pizza place. Options were very creative and the two pies we ordered were delicious! Friendly staff--the owner came outside to the patio and greeted us and asked if everything was good.

Margherita Pizza

This is a wonderful establishment! It's a beautiful place with so many cute details. The pizzas are delicious. We had the pepperoni, margherita, and the goodfella. We also had the Sin NY Bites. Would love to go here again to try the other toppings and other desserts.

It was very good but not as exceptional as others described. I guess it's the best for Florida. New York knows how to make real pizza!

And we didn't want to eat fast food or at a chain restaurant. There was no one else in the large dining room so we decided to sit at the bar. You can't see the bar from the dining room as you must walk through a door. The bar was nice with pads along the edge and hooks underneath to hang your purse. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered fried fish which came with hushpuppies and fries. My lunch was deliscious! The fish was fresh and there was the perfect amount of breading (not too much). The straw fries were hot and yummy. I only ate half and took the rest home for dinner. There was a huge outdoor patio in the back. And both the dining room and patio had stages for live music. This spot had dive vibes but was super clean (even the bathroom). I tasted my friends burger and it was fabulous! I wanted both my meal and my friends meal lol! I highly recommend you stop in and try SOS!

I'd read the reviews and they were supposed to have the coldest beer in Florida and the best burgers. What's not to like about that? When we walked in, it was as advertised, a nice little biker bar with pool tables and they do in fact have very good burgers and cold beer. We had great service, great food, great prices, and actually stayed there much longer than we planned. If we ever have to come back through this way and stay, I will definitely go back there for another great Cajun burger, and a couple of cold beers..

It is definitely a neighborhood bar and the locals are all friendly as was the bartender Melanie. There are a couple of pool tables, dart boards and a jukebox. They also had a bucket of 5 beers for $15 with five beers to choose from. I ordered the double burger with onion rings. I forgot to take a picture but the double will not fit in your mouth! It was a decent burger and much bigger than I expected. My friend got the club sandwich and it looked impressive as well. We ended up shooting pool and chatting with some of the regulars and left in the wee hours of the morning. Melanie was hustling all night as the bartender and the cook. She was on top of it all night. We were in town to scuba dive and are on to our next destination, otherwise we would have returned. Great little dive bar. Friendly staff and locals. Decent bar food.

A whole experience. A mountain of food so generous it could easily feed two people, layered like an edible masterpiece. The plate came overflowing with rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, queso, and shredded cheese, all draped over perfectly seasoned chicken. Every bite felt warm and comforting, the kind of food that makes you pause mid‑conversation because the flavor hits you in waves. Creamy, crunchy, fresh, savory... everything balanced beautifully. I also tried the al pastor, and it was incredible. Tender, juicy, with that perfect hint of sweetness and char that makes al pastor unforgettable. You can taste the love and intention in every bite. I loved that you could see the pineapple chunks because usually places just use pineapple juice . The atmosphere was cozy, the service was kind, and the food felt like it was made by people who care. Let me start by saying I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews. I've worked in the service industry,…read moreboth bussing tables when I was younger and waitressing, so I'm very understanding. For me to leave a review this negative, the service truly had to be poor. Last night, we chose this place to celebrate my Irish heritage with a green beer and some light food. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating, which is a plus. However, when we arrived, there was a line of people waiting for a table, and it quickly turned chaotic. One woman tried to cut the line, and another wanted to argue over a small booth that her family wouldn't have even fit in. Eventually, we were seated. I understand that holidays can be busy, so we were trying to be patient. Our waiter came over, dropped off menus, said "I'll be right back," and disappeared. After 25 minutes of waiting at the table, I had to flag down another waitress. Meanwhile, at least three tables that were seated after us already had drinks and had placed their food orders. I understand being busy, but at the very least, we should have been greeted or offered drinks. The waitress we flagged down said she would help us, which seemed promising at first, but then we waited another 20 minutes just for drinks. I'm not sure if it was an understaffing issue or something else, but the service was extremely poor. We considered leaving a one-star review, but the waitress did seem like she was trying. The food was okay, we ordered light items, and it still took quite a while to arrive. Overall, we would recommend skipping this place. There are plenty of other options in town that will treat you better. We work hard, and when we go out, we expect at least standard service.
