Wow! The food here is just incredibly delicious! We ordered two cheese burek & one meat burek. They both were just absolutely tasty! Big slice! Anyone with a big appetite will definitely be full & satisfied. $4 for each. The place is pretty small. Friendly service. Helpful too... We'll definitely go back!

It took me a while to try this place out since I had thought this was a pizzeria! I've had burek before (at Uku's in Astoria) but never remembered what it was called. Now i definitely will, because the burek here is fantastic. I've had the spinach/cheese burek a few times which provides a pretty hearty vegetarian meal. The crust is super flaky and crunchy, but chewy when you bite in, and also buttery. The filling is delicious and holds up well in the somewhat thin pie. They also have yogurt you can have with the burek, but I kind of prefer just eating it on it's own. I get the sense this is more of a take out place, but there is some seating in the somewhat dark restaurant and on the patio (go for the patio, if it's nice). And the woman who serves the burek is really a pleasure. Did I mention a huge slice of burek pie (like big enough to share) is only $5?

If you ever wanted to taste a traditional balkan meal, then this is the place to go! Yes, it looks like nothing special from the outside and even when you enter the place it leaves a lot to be desired decoration wise, but all that stops mattering the moment you take a bite out of your first order. Bureks pizza offers three types of burek meals, filled with meat, fresh cheese or spinach and trust me all of them taste delicious! Not to mention the price which is only $4 per slice (don't forget to treat yourself with some yogurt with your burek). The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. 5 stars!

Best take out meal. I always get the cheese. I like to order a whole pie because i feel it's more fresh then ordering individual slices.

The restroom, located downstairs, was clean. The waiter was informative, quick, and polite. Our food was delicious! My son had the eggs and bacon with potatoes and toast and their fresh squeezed OJ. My husband had the steak and eggs with a decaf latte. His steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. I enjoyed the chicken and waffle eggs Benedict, and I cleaned my plate. We will definitely return. Thanks for a nice Sunday meal!

I'm usually more of a smash burger kind of guy, but the steakhouse style burger was quite flavorful. My only complaint about the burger is that it had no sauce or condiments at all on it. The bacon mac and cheese was also quite nice. The bad: It was pretty overheated in the restaurant, and really humid. The only thing in the restaurant to help with the heat was one big fan at the back. Unfortunately, it was blowing directly on one table of guests back there, and not really doing much for the rest of the people in the restaurant.

Being someone who fancies a good burger on occasion, I decided to check it out, and was not disappointed. On Tuesdays they offer a $20 burger and beer special. The burger was flavorful, and cooked to a perfect medium rare as I asked. If I had a small gripe, I would have preferred fries to chips on the side, but the chips were pretty good. The overall atmosphere here was cool. I'm not a horror enthusiast by any stretch, but the decor was unique and made for an experience that you don't get at many other places. The bartender (Ellie?) was very nice, and made me feel welcome, which some bars don't often do for first time customers. I'll be back in the not too distant future.

I ordered the short ribs and the five-onion soup again, and both were excellent. The service was spot-on and impressively quick--my food arrived in under 15 minutes. The owner is also really cool; he personally greets guests and makes a point of chatting with the performers to ensure they're comfortable. This is a wonderfully romantic spot. The floral displays are fun and are probably the highlight of the visit. The space is clearly designed for photos, and I can see why it would be popular for birthdays, showers, or other special occasions. They seem to go the extra mile when it comes to creating a celebratory atmosphere. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

Every staff member was super young--barely legal or not even. Every interaction felt like staff were practicing their lines, playing a role in a play, and us, customers, were just cast. Waiters and buss boys were speaking to us like we were dumb/deaf/on the spectrum/high/drunk. It was so disconcerting. Never had such weird experience. Made me so uncomfortable. We were the first ones in the door with 11am reservation on a Saturday. The place filled up quickly. High noise level. Not the best for large groups. The burgers sell out quickly, as only 68 are prepared daily, so we snagged those right away. So delicious. Double smashed cheeseburger--simple and satisfying. Very rich. Would return for this again. French toast was disappointing. Looked pretty but tasted of nothing. It wasn't French toast in a traditional preparation: it was bread pudding cut into a slice and drizzled with syrup and served French toast style. The texture was of a moist but bland bread pudding. Utterly disappointing. Skip. War potatoes (crispy potatoes that are served as a side, with a dollop of super spicy sauce) were very tasty. Double or triple fried to a crispy perfection. Love me some perfectly crisp potatoes. These are super caloric, so prepare for some heartburn after. Ask for war sauce on the side because it is SPICY. House made pistachio gelato was superb. So many pistachios--I'd eat this daily and would return for this!
