Staff is friendly, but to my palette, the food was barely acceptable and reminiscent of the pre foil-wrapped burgers you get at a hospital or school cafeteria. There's a time and place for that type of burger, but not at these prices.

The food for me was ethereal - a burger isn't just a burger here and what you get when you bite into the beef shin burger is a little slice of Heaven. Moist and tender are a given but the taste is just so divine with the caramelized onion, cheddar, and horseradish mayo melding into an union of perfection. It's hard not to describe one of the most memorable meals of my life in such hyperbole but the vivid recall I have of this particular place is uncanny and merits all the praise I can heap upon the fine folks that run the place. If timing had worked out, I would have eaten as meals here as I could have but I'll thank my lucky stars for at least giving me one opportunity to eat such a wonderful burger at such a wonderful eatery. Well a 'Billy Burger ' is a kid goat burger and boy oh boy it tasted good. At first I was a little skeptical about eating goat but then I remembered back to the Billy Goats Gruff story from my childhood and this settled my mind as I knew they'd be nice and tender from running from trolls all day. Hope at least someone gets that reference. Anyway, the kid goat burger was amazing, cooked right in front of me and slightly on the rare side. The burger was garnished with tzatziki, cheddar cheese, pickled carrot and pickled cabbage. It truly was a taste sensation. I chatted to the guys running the Broughgammon farm stall and they said they are regulars at Farmers Markets all over Northern Ireland as well as having an on site farm shop in Ballycastle, Ballymena and Coleraine. They only use the finest produce and all their livestock is free range which makes it extra tasty. There's a great story about the history of the farm on their website - well worth a read. The stall itself was excellent, quick service and really friendly staff - definitely worth a visit if you're at St Georges Market. When local produce is cooked street style and it still tastes like gourmet food you know the ingredients are top notch and this is the case with Broughgammon Farm's goods.

Servers are paid the same regardless of my dining experience. While the merits of the US tipping culture is the subject of much debate. What is undebatable is that a servers attention to my dining experience is certainly amplified when their compensation depends on it. Nonetheless the experience was a blast and the food was awesome.
