Been around the world and ate a few burgers Pt. 1 Late night stop in Belfast had me hungry after a six hour flight had me hungry as hell. So many choices to chose from near the hotel we were staying. I had originally set my mind on fish and chips and was determined to get some until we walked by this place and my counterpart said "yo! lets try this". I am always game for hamburger (bless my arteries). By the way, this place has Hard Shakes!! wish I would have tried a Baileys Milkshake! Decor: 5/5 - place looks chill as can be. a few long tables where strangers can sit side by side enjoying their food and drink. The place has a modern feel to it and is very inviting and comfortable. Service: 5/5 - First time here and they knew it. Explained almost everything not he menu at the counter where you order your food. Even explained a few of the local beers and what we could expect them to taste like. From time of order to food being delivered to our table was pretty fast considering they make everything at time of order. and that there were at lest nine other people in there with us! Give that Grill guy a dang medal. Food: 5/5 - I can't even remember what burger I ordered (after review of my photo, its a cheese and bacon burger) but I can tell you that it had bacon! ( I mean I put bacon on everything ) (Rip arteries again). Cooked to a beautiful slightly pink medium and juicy as hell! I also made the mistake of ordering chips, thinking like ah its going to be like a small portion. I ordered the spicy chili chips. This portion was enough to feed two people so take warning. They were AMAZING! Yes Yes yes (herbal essence reference) lol. In all you definitely won't regret coming here to eat...or maybe you will if you don't live in Belfast because then you will have to live on a memory! I will never forget this place. Took a small menu for my collection!

Kudos to Tribal for having a vegan burger on their menu. I really enjoyed this smoked beetroot/ chickpea pattie which was served in a bun with slaw and chilli hummus. The chips were also excellent, plus they're vegan too, which is a rarity in Belfast. Tribal is licensed thus sells a range of reasonably priced wine and craft beer. My only complaint is that it would be nice to see a couple of vegan burger options on the menu - this would create more choice for vegetarians/ vegans. Overall a pretty good experience and I will return for the vegan burger and to try their salad couscous Tri-Box and sweet potato fries.

Firstly I thought that on a Friday afternoon that the place would be rammed and I'd have to wait an age to get ripped in to those tiny, tender poultry pieces but I was wrong I walked in ordered at the bar and less than 15 minutes later I was presented with a wooden bowl of 33 glazed buffalo wings - all for £8.95! The price was good and the wings did live up to the hype but I wouldn't say they were earth shattering. There was just the right amount of glaze but the wings themselves lacked meat. Yesterday's visit to The Hudson reaffirmed how good the bar is in my eyes - it's such a jack of all trades - serves a whole host of different beers - I had the Sam Adams, something that you don't see too often in Belfast. It really is the perfect place to garb some wings and have a beer on a Friday afternoon.

I had a club sandwich which was served with skinny fries & a nice little bit of salad, really enjoyed it all. My husband had the steak sandwich with chunky chips which got a thumbs up from him. Will definitely be back I'm back! Having food before my birthday party which is happening upstairs, tonight I went for scampi & chips....yum! Menu is limited but what they do, they do well. Table had a mix of chunky chips, skinny fries & sweet potato fries all of which are delicious

The ambiance, service and food were all excellent! I ordered the 16 ounce Chateau Briand filet cut, and finished searing the slices on the hot rock at the table just to my liking. The steak was excellent, and the experience was great fun! I paired it with a local Rye River Lil' Bangin' IPA and was very happy! Price was reasonable. My wife had the Chicken Supreme and also greatly enjoyed her meal. We would visit regularly if it was in the States! Will visit again when back in Belfast.

Effectively, you finish your own meats on a hot stone brought to your table. It is great for steak since you have no one to blame but yourself if it ends up over cooked. We decided to go with the 3 course theater option. What a deal! Honestly, I was expecting to drop a lot more cash for a steak dinner and figured they would have to make up for it by providing smaller portions, however, that was not the case. We started with mussels and the goat cheese. Tons of mussels in a tasty white sauce made my day. The goat cheese dish was just ok. We got a steak meal and a tuna for our mains. Loved them both. Then, we opted for an amazing Baked Alaska for dessert - great call and highly recommended. Service was on point. I appreciate how often they checked in, whether to see if we need more drinks or to ensure we were comfortable with our food. They never made us feel rushed nor did they intrude. As I mentioned, the price was well within line of expectations and the special was a deal. They did not skip on overall value at any point of the meal. I am not sure if I'll be back to belfast, but if I am, I will be back to Stix and Stones.

The ordering and payment system here was streamlined (done via QR code), and everything was prepared and brought out in short order. The highlight, of course, was the Peri-Peri Chicken, which came in many forms/cuts, and I got the half chicken, a skin-on, bone-in breast and leg piece. You can also select a spice level ranging from Plainish (Extra Mild) to Extra Hot, and I went for extra hot, just to see how much heat they could bring. But that's not all! At the self-serve counter were even more sauces, including wild herb, lemon & herb, and garlic, along with peri-peri sauces of all different spice levels, so you could experiment with many different flavor combinations. Along with the chicken, I also got the Rainbow Bowl, a combination of several vegetarian sides including spiced grains & butternut squash, long-stem broccoli, hummus, pickled golden carrots, and rainbow slaw (shredded cabbage and carrots in a tangy dressing), sprinkled with pumpkin and sunflower seeds. All the components of the bowl were fresh and delicious and went nicely as a side to the spicy chicken!
